Not for my sensitive skin :(

I received this product bright and early on Saturday morning so began trialing that same day. The box states usage is designed for women aged mid-to-late 20s up to early-to-mid 60s. I opted for the medium colour, however, in my opinion the product was a bit too dark, even when applied sparingly. It could be that I should have opted for the light colour, in saying that, I definitely have an olive tone complexion. Right-e-o, to the product itself. When you open and squeeze out, just the teeniest bit, one, it is the most silkiest, smoothest, creamiest product I have ever felt, and two, it also has the most gorgeous scent to it, not too faint and not too strong, just right. As I chose the medium colour, my initial reaction was 'oh, this is very dark', but as I massaged it between my hands and applied to my face the colour actually did blend in to a much lighter shade. After about five minutes, I re-checked and it was noticeable that I had something on my face (I don't wear foundation/concealer, so I could certainly see I was wearing something). I rubbed the product further and it did slightly lighten on my face. On the box it does say "For increased coverage, apply a second time", in my opinion, I think in this case, because of this, I perhaps have chosen the wrong shade :( So the second and third mornings I applied the product, using half the amount that I used the first morning, WITHOUT using my normal moisturiser first. Again I couldn't seem to get a matching even colour, and when applying the product instantly dried up and looked cakey on my skin. As I mentioned earlier, I do have sensitive skin, so I believe it was due to not using my normal moisturiser first why the cream went dry instantly. Alas, this morning I woke up and my skin has broken out in a bumpy rash, especially around the outer corner eye area, and my cheeks. Thus unfortunately, I would have to say, this product is not for my sensitive skin. But, I would certainly recommend to friends to try, as overall, it is a beautifully presented product and I highly doubt a women within the normal skin range would have the issues I had.

Tips: If prone to sensitive skin, it would pay to patch test for at least two days in a row to monitor any irritations that may occur. Also, test first with your normal moisturiser first, then test without your normal moisturiser, just to see if you notice any differences with the application.

Garnier BB cream anti aging

this was something new for me I don't wear a lot of make up so testing it around the house was a bit strange but it goes on really easily and is quick to apply I don't think it was enough time to really see if it works for the wrinkles, the smell was strong to me at first but think it was just because it was new was fine after a day or 2, felt nice on wasn't thick one coating was very light on me and just covered I did use it when I went to town under my make up which is just thin lizzy light but was nice under that and it helped darken the thin lizzy colour a little, my skin can be quite greasy this didn't make it any worse, if after some more use it helped the wrinkles I would buy for the RRP and recommend to my friends the packaging is fine I do think it needs a bit less information on the front made it look a bit tacky overall I look forward to keep using it.

Tips: if applying under make up put it on and let it dry a bit before applying anything else unless you want to be darker as I found if I put other make up (in my case thin lizzy) straight on while it was damp it made my overall colour quite a bit darker.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream- Anti Agei

I have a normal skin type & am concerned about eveness, so was delighted to try a BB cream that was also anti-aging. The consistency was a little thick for my liking. As I received a "medium" colour this was a little too dark, I've also tried the light & this is probably a better colour even though my skin tone would be more medium than fair. The thicker consistancy gave quite a full coverage, although it certainly didn't feel heavy, and a luminous finish. I didn't notice any strong fragrance. It was easy to squeeze out of the plastic tube. The packaging didn't state what the SPF number was. I didn't notice any extra firming, perhaps more of a blur effect. Worn by itself, it lasted well, even after a workout it still looked good. Would recommend to a friend & feel that it's in the right price bracket.

Tips: Used as a primer, applied with a brush due to the thickness of product. My foundation lasted all day & I used less to get the same coverage as usual.

Good base product

I found the Garnier cream to be a good product. The cream went on well but seemed slow to absorb perhaps due to the colour. My skin has pink undertones and the Light colour was quite yellow on my complexion. This was disappointing as I was looking forward to trialling this product. Used a a base under foundation it worked well to even out those red tones but I wouldn't use as a stand alone product. My fine lines seemed to abate somewhat and my skin did feel smoother and soft. Would recommend as moisturiser/base under makeup for pink/reddish skin tones.

Tips: Try the colour before buying if you can - will make a huge difference. Use as a under makeup base for good even coverage/finish.

Skin Perfector BB - Anti Ageing

Have been using this cream. While not sure it actually is Anti Ageing, it is nice to use. I also was using the Sensitive cream, which I used at night. This one does feel nice and the shade is good. Skin perfector - yes I would say so, Anti ageingm, I might need to use ti for longer to work that one out.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream - Anti-Age

I have been using the above product over the last week. I have normal to dry type of skin with quite a few freckles. Found that the BB Cream was thick and it was easy to apply with fingers. I found that it gave a good sheer coverage with a matt finish and lasted well. It blended blemishes and freckles well. BB cream hydrated my skin however there was no actual sign of a reduction in wrinkles or that my skin was any firmer or plumper than before I started. The packaging was smart, the instructions were clear and straight forward however they were 3/4 way down the box and could have been easily missed. It worked well as a base to my foundation however I am not convinced with its other claims

Tips: Use a base to foundation

Garnier miracle skin perfector bb cream

I have combination skin and i found this product very moisturising. However i have fair skin, and i found my skin to look an unnatural orange so maybe it is suited to olive skinned girls. It is a nice light consistency and provided a nice shine. A product like this would be great if you do not like the heavy covrerage of foundation, but i would not purchase again because of the colour on me and the price is expensive. Packaging wise it is nice and bright, very easy to read ingredients and get an even consistency of product with the toothpaste tube.

Tips: Try the product first to see the colour on your face.

Not bad

I was initially surprised at how chemically the product smelt when you first squeeze it from the tube. This then disappears once you have applied it. It has a good coverage even on my skin which is quite dry and high coloured in parts. I still needed concealer as I am used to the coverage of a 24hr foundation. The box mentions the product includes sunscreen but unfortunately does not indicate what SPF which if included would assist users decide if a separate sunscreen was required. I wouldn't purchase this for myself as the size of the product for the price I feel is expensive. It could be good for those looking for a light coverage for day time.

Garnier anti ageing BB cream

My skin type is normal but mature and I was lucky enough to be selected to trial this product. I have never used a BB cream before and I do not wear a lot of foundation or makeup so it was interesting for me to try this product on a daily basis. It was a small and attractively packaged product and I liked the way it fitted in the palm of your hand. I found the product to be quite a thick and gluggy consistency though when applying it directly to my face so I squeezed a small amount onto the back of my hand, rubbed my fingertip into it and then dotted it over my face and patted the cream into my skin. I found this was the easiest way to apply it. I had chosen the light shade and I was concerned that it might be too light as I have an olive complexion but I think this was the right shade for me. You couldn't really tell that I was wearing it so I thought that was great as I did not want to look made up. But I'm not sure if it did anything for me either as I couldn't tell if it made my face look any better. However, my daughter felt that my skin tone was more even so I guess that is a big plus! I am of a mature age, in my 50's and whilst I look younger than my age, I do have age spots, faint wrinkles and some creases. The product did not appear to reduce any wrinkles or make my skin feel firmer so this was disappointing but it may be early days yet as I have only used this for a short while. Because I found the product quite thick to apply, I feel it takes too long to apply as I did have some problems getting an even spread over my face so I would not use this on a daily basis. To me, it is not a moisturiser, but more a foundation, and I feel it has the characteristics of a foundation cream. I thought this product was a moisturiser and have treated it as such. What I didn't like, was if you wipe your forehead of perspiration, it leaves a brown watery residue on your fingers which makes me think this is more of a foundation with a rich moisturiser. This product does not suit me to use on a daily basis because I am always at the gym. It did keep my skin hydrated even though it was difficult to apply at first so it certainly gets points for hydration. As for the anti ageing part, this will take more than one week to prove. I thought the fragrance was pleasant enough and the finish was more matte and natural for me. I only applied one coat but for me, that was enough as I don't like to wear too much on my face. It lasted all day and I do think it is value for money if you compare it to the price of a foundation. Even though it did not deliver on everything it said it would, overall, it is not a bad product.

Tips: A small amount goes a long way. Apply some to the back of your hand and then dot over your face and pat with your fingertips.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream

I am 43 with fair/light skin that is quite pale in the winter but tans readily during summer. I have some sun damage so I generaly use a high end CC cream which I am really happy with as far as coverage goes so was not expecting much from an inexpensive BB cream. I only had just over a week to use the BB cream so can't comment on the claims that "in four weeks skin appears smoother" and "plumper and firmer" however I usually take these claims with a grain of salt when you read the fine print and see the size of the test pool and that one test is performed in-vitro. I used a sponge to apply after moisturising and found the cream went on smoothly and blended easily. It had a slight perfume (unnecessary) that disappeared quickly. It has a yellow tinge (on my skin) but did not make my face overly yellow. It gave me a light coverage which is consistant with a BB cream so did not completely cover my sun damage but gave me a nice even coverage and I did think a nice "illumination". My skin didn't feel dry during the day so the claims of 24 hour hydration are possibly justified. I think for the price the product was great but I still prefer a CC cream for that extra coverage. It would be interesting to see how well the sunscreen works in the summer.

Tips: Always moisturise first and for great coverage use a make up sponge.
