Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review

As with many other products, I gave in to the hype and bought myself a bottle of this micellar water. I’m glad I did, because I have been using it almost daily.

It comes in a cute 400ml bottle with a pink lid and pink accents. Very pretty! And it claims to last for 200 uses, which is probably quite possible as I have used it probably over 20 times already and hardly any has gone.

I usually use this to remove my makeup before cleansing, or just at the end of a long day (or night) when I can’t really be bothered properly washing my face. I just squirt a small amount onto a cotton pad and wipe it around my face. It usually takes about 2 pads to fully remove all my makeup. Makeup comes of easily without hard rubbing or pulling, it just wipes right off. I love that I don't have to rinse it off afterwards.

Waterproof eye makeup however is another story. It’s not very effective at removing my They’re Real! Mascara so I usually end up using a separate product to remove eye makeup.

This stuff is perfect to have around. Whether you are removing make up, tidying up your make up or even getting ready to apply your make up. This product works and is very affordable. I like to use this product before applying my make up as I find it helps clean off any excess dirt or oil I have on my face. It is perfect on a cotton bud to help clean up a wing or to remove eyeshadow fall out and is great to remove excess mascara without irritating the eyes. This product is gentle enough that it works for those with sensitive skin but also will remove make up.

I honestly went into this thinking it couldn't possibly do all the things they said it would. I truly apologise! Garner Micellar Cleansing Water is Fabulous. The first time I used it was at the end of the day, I had had a shower, but we all know that plain old water doesn't get the foundation and eye makeup off entirely. So I got a cotton pad and thought I'd give it a go. It was amazing! It felt fabulous on my skin, cooling, refreshing and the 'panda eyes' were no match for this product. My skin felt not only clean and fresh but beautifully soft. I now have used Micellar Cleansing Water morning and night for the last week and I don't think I want to stop now, I have noticed a big difference in the softness of my skin and I don't want to go back to what it was. This is a very gentle product, not at all harsh or astringent. It doesn't sting your eyes when you attack your eye makeup nor does it sting your blemishes ( of which I now have less of) . I didn't need to use a lot, as one gentle wipe is all you need, but as I am now a complete convert, the larger bottle is definitely a draw card as is the price. So, as you can tell, I'm pretty impressed by this product and I will be recommending it to anyone who will listen and I will absolutely be buying another bottle when this one is done. Unfortunately I have sensitive skin and this product stung my skin really badly around my eye area :( I'm so gutted because everybody is obsessed with this product and it has so many good reviews.. but it just didn't work for me! :( however it did take my makeup off straight away, it was really effective and therefore did what it said it would :)

When I first started using this I was delighted to find that it actually did what it said it did and felt as though it was just water taking the make-up off! I wouldn't say that it cleansed my skin and i always use a cleanser afterwards.

I tried the Garnier Micellar water after hearing all the hype and really thought it lived up to the expectation. I was initially worried it would sting or be quite oily in my eyes but this was not the case. It removed all my eye makeup so quickly and easily and soothed the skin around my nose too! Will definitely keep using this as it is so handy for taking off my eye makeup once home from work, before cleansing my whole face at bedtime.

I Absolutely love this product. So handy and refreshing and does a great job at removing my make-up. It's really handy to have on hand when travelling or when you a short on time and need a quick cleanse. Thumbs up from me!

I love this cleansing water! Easily removed any makeup I wear with no harsh scrubbing! Would certainly purchase again. I mainly use this to remove my mascara on a cotton pad as I find this way is less harsh on my eyes than a makeup wipe

This cleansing water is actually really refreshing on my sensitive skin. I thought it might burn but it had a cooling feeling and I was able to put some onto a cotton pad and wipe it over my eyes and my eyes didnt get sore! No irritation occured which was really good. The water itself dried after a few minutes without the need to rinse it off which is actually really helpful and saves time for me. The makeup remover side itself works well, I usually have a full face of makeup and it takes away all the layers which is really nice. I wouldnt use it with toilet paper though because it goes grainy. So cotton pad or baby wipes work well with the water.

This product certainly lives up to the hype and comes at a great price. Since I don't wear face makeup I use it just to take off my eye makeup and it really does the job well. It doesn't irritate my eyes and wipes off all my mascara and liner.
