It works.....yuusss!

I have never really been in to serums or plumping creams. To me it just seemed like an extra step in an already busy morning when doing my skin regime. Well let me just serve myself up a bowl of my words and I shall eat them now. I got this in one of the Best Beauty Box Ever that I bought a wee while back. I love love that it has a pump applicator rather than a dropper like alot of serum type skin care products do. I also like that the bottle is glass......could perhaps be reused or recycled.

The serum itself is quite thin but stays together nice enough so it comes out in a blob. To me it smells a tad of ylang ylang or some other essential oil that I can't quite pout my finger on. I find less is more when it comes to the amount I use. It means it has lasted for quite a while now.

I don't get alot of sleep (thanks to milking cows and a toddler) so am always looking quite tired or blah. Since using this, especially under my eye area my skin is alot more plumped and less tired looking. So to answer one of the questions, yes is does what it promises. I have repurchased twice so it is a winner, winner chicken dinner in my makeup bag.

Tips: Cleanse face beforehand to get the best results and moisturize after.

hello fresh face!

i am tired. some days i feel like i should be an extra on the walking dead, if only for the way i zombie around until bed. but then this serum came along and i don't think i'm getting any extra sleep, so unless the hormones are making me look decent then i think this is the culprit.

the packaging is average, nothing about it stands out to me but i do like that its a pump rather than a dropper, a fact i'll probably hate when i come to the end of the bottle (i can never get it all out!!).

the serum is thin but blobs out nicely and i find one pump enough to do my face, although sometimes i'll do a half-assed pump and it's still enough so i guess it's a preference thing. it applies easily and dries/absorbs really fast, but not so fast you're still trying to work it in. it's quite good actually, i really enjoy that about it. i've been using it daily for a week or so and i'm yet to notice any breakouts, or skin changes or anything bad. so far my feedback on my face has been nothing but positive!

as a plump and renew serum i think it really does work, mostly around my eyes where i feel the most tired and in need of plumping and renewing. i feel new again when i use this serum and i'm definitely going to repurchase it now that i'm not so skeptical about it!

Nice serum

This serum comes in the Natural Instinct packaging. I like Natural Instinct products, though they tend to be milder than I prefer.

This one comes in a dark bottle with a pump top. It is simple and easy to use and the pump doesn't block or jam, which is helpful.

The product is white and lotion-like. It squirts into my hand without being too runny or oozing everywhere. That's good considering it's quite thin.

I applied it after cleansing in the evening and let it soak in properly before applying a night cream or moisturiser. It really does soften my skin and I like the feel of it. The product claim is that it will help to get the most from my favourite moisturiser, and will penetrate deeply for improved firmness, smoother texture and increased hydration. I believe it does do that very well.

I'm not too keen on the scent, which is probably the influence of rosehip which i do not love.

I like that it is free of a lot of nasty additives and is organic.

It is a good price at $22.99 for 30ml and I do recommend it as a product that is worth a try.

Tips: Apply to cleansed skin and leave to absorb before following with a good moisturiser.

Goodbye fine lines!

I received a bottle of Natural Instinct Plump & Renew Serum in the "Naturals" Best Beauty Box Ever (also known as BBBE).

I have very oily skin, and this serum does not affect my skin in any negative ways. It doesn't cause breakouts, doesn't increase oiliness, and doesn't sit on the skin. Instead, this serum moisturises, nourishes, and after using it every day for 6 weeks, I can say that it definitely does plump and help hydrate and fill out fine lines. Yes, it took 6 weeks of me using it every day before I began to notice a change in my skin's appearance.

The biggest difference is around my eyes where the skin is usually crepey and almost "gathered" with fine lines. This skin is now plumped and smoothed, and the dark circles under my eyes are less noticeable, as my foundation and powder isn't drawing attention to them any more with fines lines and "puckered" skin under my lower eyelid.

I've used many serums in the past, but none have come close to giving me results like this! I really do like this serum and will be purchasing more, so I'd definitely recommend it.

Tips: One pump is sufficient for your face and neck, don't be tempted to use more as it won't be absorbed properly.

Tightening, not plumping

I received a very generous 15ml (half the size of the full sized product) mini of this as a magazine freebie. I can never resist a magazine freebie so in the trolley it went! I used this in the mornings only. It has a milky gel like texture, without any stickiness. It smells very fresh and fruity - probably a little stronger than what I would usually want in skincare.

I like to let serums settle and absorb for a few minutes and then apply moisturiser. I didn't find that this plumped my skin but it definitely tightened it. I couldn't wait to apply moisturiser after this to lessen the effect. I'm not a fan of this tightening sensation so I wouldn't use this again. I should imagine for those concerned with pore size it is a great product for the price but not what I'm looking for in a serum.

Better for younger skin

I received this serum as part of a Beauty Review Best Beauty Box Ever.

This serum comes in a red and cream cardboard box. On the box it says that it is a “plump and renew serum”, and that it is “100% free of toxic sulphates, petrochemicals, parabens & more” which are listed in full on the side of the box. It is made in Australia, and it is not tested on animals. Its key ingredients are “saccharide isomerate, echinacea purpurea extract, argan oil, and liquorice extract”. The serum claims that it “visibly improves wrinkles, hydration and corrects skin tone for youthful brightness.” The serum itself comes in a glass pump bottle with a plastic lid and a cream and red label. The serum is 30ml.

The serum says to apply it morning and evening. I have been applying this in the evening only as I do not, as a rule, apply serums in the morning. I have been using this for the past few months. The serum itself is creamy white and very light in feel. It is easy to apply and absorbs into the skin very quickly. It has a pleasant flowery scent.

I have very sensitive skin and I have not had a reaction to this product. It does make my skin feel moisturised, however, it does not seem to be any more moisturising than a regular night cream. I have not noticed any of the benefits that it claims from using this product. I think of serums as targeted formulas that contain retinoids or hyaluronic acid for anti-aging, and which go underneath a day cream or a night cream. This seems to be more of a super moisturiser that adds moisture in addition to whatever day cream or night cream that you may already be using. I think it is most appropriate for younger skin that may need a moisture boost. I think older skin will be looking for something more from a serum that has more targeted ingredients.

Well priced serum

I participated in the Natural Instinct 6 week challenge and got this serum to use and review. I had never heard of Natural Instinct before that, but really liked their brand ethic and ingredient list.

I use this morning and night now and really like the feel of it on my skin and the smell.

It's not a miracle worker - I still have wrinkles and fine lines - but it feels nice and I think it has softened the fine lines a bit.

I find that the full pump lets out a little too much serum, so if you want it to last longer, use a bit less than the full pump.

Love this product

I love Natural Instinct products. They are natural, good priced and last long. This serum is no exception. It has light texture and absorbs well. I used it combined with Rosehip oil and moisturiser and my skin always felt nourished and smooth. I can say I got rid of few wrinkles as well so will definitely recommend this to everyone.

A part of your routine

As far as plumping lines and wrinkles are concerned, I'm yet to meet a product for wrinkles that actually does work. I'm only 28 so my wrinkles are fairly small and new, I tried to start really taking care of my skin when I noticed them starting, maybe 4 or 5 years ago. At the end of the day, giving your forehead and under eyes a bit of extra attention with an additional products, probably won't hurt your skin. I would only use this as a part of a routine of varying products. Cute packaging, simple and pretty.

No marked improvement

Because of the low price I used this for a whole lot of time with no improvement. I do have rather deep lines so that is probably way.
