Thayers Cucumber Alcohol-Free Toner with Witch Hazel Aloe Vera

This was a pleasure to trail. It was refreshing, made my skin feel clean without drying and wasn’t to harsh. The smell was subtle but lovely and I enjoyed using it as a toner or just a pick me up during the day. The packaging was nice and modern with the matte lid. Personally I think it takes a significant time to see a usable difference in your skin. But I certainly would recommend and try other flavours in the future.

I was very excited to try Thayers Cucumber Alcohol-Free Toner as anything that can make my skin more moisturized and healthy has got to be a great thing! After trying it out myself, I have to say that I am overall quite impressed with this toner.

One of the standout features of this product is its natural formulation. It contains witch hazel, aloe vera, and cucumber extract, which are all known for their soothing and hydrating properties. I found that this toner did a great job of removing any leftover dirt or impurities on my skin after cleansing, while also leaving my skin feeling refreshed and moisturized.

Another plus point of Thayers Cucumber Alcohol-Free Toner is the size and look of the bottle. This toner will last for a long time! I believe the RRP is great value for money. I love the overall style of the bottle and the flip lid makes it really easy to use and not to waste product.

However, one thing that I didn't particularly like about this toner was its smell. While it is marketed as cucumber-scented, I found that the smell was very cucumbery, and not particularly pleasant. Obviously considering it is a cucumber toner this is a bit of a silly complaint however my nose just struggles to get past the scent.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Thayers Cucumber Alcohol-Free Toner with Witch Hazel Aloe Vera for those looking for a gentle, natural toner. While the scent was not for me, the benefits of this product in terms of hydration and soothing properties make it well worth trying out.

I've been using this toner every morning and night since I received it for review and it has been very refreshing and soothing on my skin. My skin is very sensitive (eczema) and it has not had any adverse reactions so far. I've found that my skin feels more moisturised which will be great in winter. The aloe vera in this toner will also be very handy in summer for the inevitable sunburn! The scent is like cucumber and smells quite natural which is a nice change from artificial fragrances. The bottle is quite large and seems like it will last for a long time. The instructions say to apply with a cotton pad but I found it works just as well by squirting toner into your hands and applying to the face - less waste that way. Overall would definitely recommend to anyone, I love it and will definitely be buying another bottle when this one (eventually!) runs out

I have pretty normal skin, getting a little drier as I age. I've used toners before that were too astringent or that made me feel greasy a few hours later but never really saw much of a difference in my skin. Recently we had covid for the first time, and I used this toner whenever I felt that ick feeling to freshen up and it worked really well for that. I also didn't get any sting or reaction using it on my chapped nose from blowing. At the end of using it for about two weeks I noticed my face was less red than usual, and looking clear like it does when I can be bothered drinking lots of water. I like this toner. I keep wipes in my bag for quick cleanups, it's a habit from when my son was small. They were a bit dried out, so I squirted some of the toner in the pack and they are good as new, they smell nice too.

Smells strongly of cucumber but not too overpowered, and the scent goes away after a few minutes on the skin. I like that it has witch hazel.

I like to use cotton pads and I'm always so surprised at all the stuff I still managed to wipe off with the toner after a face wash. The toner is very moisturising and has a soothing affect, not astringent at all, but also doesn't feel like it leaves an uncomfortable slick layer on the skin.

Refreshing.

I used this each time after washing my face and applied it with a cotton ball. I found this also helped with removing any makeup that was not removed previously.

I have received this bottle for a beauty review. My first impression was the smell of cucumber. I asked my husband who didn't know about the product and he told me it was a cucumber. Smells nice and soft. I know cucumber does not smell wow, but it is delicious, isn't it? I do not drink the toner, okay. Then I started to use it in my night routine as a cleanser, after washing my face, I use it as a second step in my routine. My skin type is oily, and I don't have any bad reactions or anything with it. The toner is very gentle. I use cotton balls and apply them only over my T-zone. My skin did not produce more oil during the night as with other toners for oily skin. It really feels fresh and clean. I like it. I have seen this product in pharmacies, and I think, will buy more in the future, it is not expensive. The bottle has 12onz 355ml. Worths the money. This toner is nice for every type of skin. I would like to try this in the summertime. I would recommend using this when you have done exercise and need to clean the sweat on your face, use a little bit and remove it with your face towel gently.

The bottle is quite striking but I'm a bit of a sucker for things that look they've been around for years! It's kind of reassuring that they are good - and this is.

It's got a typical toner consistency - like water! But the flip top lid with a small opening means ots goes only where you direct it not everywhere!

Pop some on a (reasuable) cotton pad and wipe - easy as that but so different from any other toner I've tried. I was a little worried by the witch hazel element (strong smell, skin feeling on fire and tight) but there was no of that. It left my skin clean and feeling moisturised.

The smell is lovely - just pure cucumber and not the chemically version.

I've been using this twice a day for nearly two weeks and haven't used very much at all so for $16-$17 it seems like it will be very good value.

I always have red patches, I go red at the drop of a hat but it really seems to have helped with that. I had a family bereavement during the trail and had a very red puffy face and eyes and it dramatically helped reduce that - even in my eyes! And yes, probably not designed to be used on eyes, but there was no stinging or soreness!

I would absolutely recommend this. I'll be hunting it (and the other versions) down to buy!

I really enjoy using this facial toner. First impressions were that this product is fresh, clean and smells like cucumber - so wholesome! My skin feels clean, hydrated and primed for application of serums and creams when I apply this with a cotton pad after cleansing. I like the packaging - the bottle is see through and strong. The product is cruelty free and natural. There is no alcohol in this toner, so it is not drying. It contains no nasties, so it ticks all the boxes. From a price point - it is super affordable. I like how the toner comes in a decent sized bottle and the lid allows the right amount of product to come out. No product is wasted. The fragrance is not over powering at all, more of a watered down cucumber smell. I used a cotton pad to apply each time, and it left my face feeling refreshed and clean. This toner is infused with cucumber and aloe vera and is alcohol free which is why my face was not left feeling sticky after using. I did not notice any difference in my pores but I did notice I had no dry skin which I usually get in colder months. Great for cleansing!
