A lot of girls use this on their faces for acne. That didn't work for me. BUT I have a huge scar on my leg from a drunken accident, let's not get into it, and this has worked wonders at getting rid of the purple shading. I rub it in every day and make sure I rub deeply so it really sinks into the scar.
I have just noticed a dreadful purple stretch mark appear after all my Easter egg eating, so I am going to give that a good rosehip oil rub and hopefully it'll turn white too!
This is the first beauty oil product I have used on my face, and the strange smell is a little bit off putting at first however it fades quickly.
I was given a bottle by a colleague of my mothers, when I had mentioned to her that the bout of acne I had been trying to get rid of for months had left small scars along the side of my face, patches of the skin on my face had also become quite dry due to the amount of acne fighting products I had been using.
After using the rosehip oil for a week, (2 drips on a cotton pad after cleansing) I noticed that the dry patches of my skin had reduced significantly and that my skin was glowing again. The oil has also reduced the appearance of the acne scarring on my cheek as well.
Tips: Use in particularly troublesome spots of dryness, or mix a little bit into your moisturiser when you need a bit of a boost!
