essano Oil Control Oil-Free Moisturiser

I used this as the final step in my cleaning regime before bed and can honestly say I didnt like it. It felt very thick and heavy on my face and just made my face feeling very icky. A little went a long way with this product but I feel like if this is meant to be an oil free product it should probably feel alot lighter as is what I've found using different brands of oil free moisturizer.

This moisturiser is very light and absorbs quickly into the skin. The smell is pleasant and fresh.

A great product for very oily to mildly oily skins, Niacinamide helps keep the shine from oily skin at bay. The lightweight formula keeps skin hydrated throughout the day. Skin is left feeling smooth and ready for applying makeup over the top.

The packaging allows for no mess application and pumps out just the right amount to moisturise your whole face and neck.

The essano Oil Control Oil-Free Moisturiser is designed to be lightweight and non-greasy, keeping skin hydrated without the oil. It is the third and final step in this essano 3 step regime.

I have been using this moisturiser as part of my night time skincare routine, following cleansing and toning. After the toner dries on my skin, I take a little moisturiser on the tips of my fingers and rub it on my face with gentle circles.

It feels light to apply, and stays moist long enough to know when my face is covered, but dries pretty quick and leaves my skin feeling soft. Overall my skin has been feeling smooth and more balanced after trialling this regime, and I will continue to use it.

I was excited to try this oil control oil free moisturizer as I’m starting to find my skin just getting a bit oiler especially around the t zone. Using this cream I found my skin seemed quite dry, initially I thought right it’s going to balance it out but it didn’t it just felt dry all day like it was lacking moisture which maybe it was keeping the oil away but after two to three days of feeling like that I was a bit hesitant it feels better now so maybe it is a case of resetting your skin?? It’s definately a nice lightweight cream and has no scent so it would be good for those who want something quite simple and affordable. The jury is still out for me.

I reviewed the essano Oil Control Oil-Free Moisturiser along with the essano Oil Control Deep Pore Cleanser and the essano Oil Control Balancing Toner. The moisturiser has a pleasant smell, and a little bit goes a long way. It did make my skin feel very dry though - and not at all moisturised.

It is hard to judge how the toner worked in isolation, but as a package the products made my skin quite dry initially but didn't really work to reduce overall oiliness and I still had a few breakouts. I did read somewhere though that it can take over a month to "train" your skin to be less oily with these products - so I will give it more time.

Nice smelling moisturizer, its light and spreads easily, the fragrance is not overpowering and it sets into the skin really quickly so its great for the morning when you want to get your make-up on fast and don't want to wait for your moisturizer to settle. I liked using this in the morning but prefer a heavier moisturizer for the evening. The pump is convenient to use however the dark packaging is annoying that you can't see how much is left in there- being a cruelty free product is a big win in my eyes. I'm in my mid 30s and have sensitive, oily skin and this hasn't made me break out or caused any redness which is great!

I enjoyed using this product - nice easy pump system. Needed a few pumps to get enough to moisturiser to cover face. Consistency of the moisturiser was nice and smooth. Left my skin feeling nice and smooth after use. Will use again.

An oil free moisturiser that actually hydrates?!! You've found it with this product. I'm all about that skincare life. I love trying new things that help me look my best self. I wear make up most days and because of my oily t-zone, at the end of the day my foundation looks like an oily mess. The past few days of using this face cream seemed to make my foundation last a lot longer than it usually does. So when this face creams claims to control sebum for a matt, shine-free finish all day....it does. My face was so incredibly soft after using this face cream - all only from using one pump as well. As I write this review I had previously put on the face cream about 9 hours ago, and my skin is still soft to the touch and I can also confirm my t-zone is not oily at all.

I would use this again!

I picked this up from my last beauty vault haul . I ran out of my moisturiser and thought I would give this one a try .

Comes in pump bottle easy to read labelling . Feels light creamy has a mild scent to it herbal . Not overpowering at all . I like to cleanse and tone beforehand. Afterwards I apply this moisturiser and it glides on perfectly. No oily residue left behind . My skin feels hydrated and clean.

Perfect moisturiser for someone with normal to oily skin . Not really for someone with dry skin . Overall it’s affordable and easily accessible. Two ticks in my books

The Essano Oil Control Oil-Free Moisturiser was probably my favourite product in the range.

It comes in a dainty pump and the packaging is coloured green unlike the other two products in the range which are pink with a green stripe.

The moisturizer is white and not too thick, but still creamy. It absorbs into the skin easily and is the most gentle of the three products on the skin.

It gave a little bit of a matte, shine-free finish. And was definitely light, not greasy, moisturizing and left the skin feeling smooth.

I would use this moisturizer again.
