I was so hyped up for this cutie. I thought it could be everything I’ve dreamed of in a face cream .
I was super excited to try a hydrating, anti wrinkle face cream with NO fragrance. Fragrances can set off migraines for me .
Love the jar , it’s really cute, easy to screw off and scoop out your desired amount of cream. I love that it’s easy to unscrew . Those of us with carpal tunnel know the struggles of opening jars and packets.
The cream is white and unscented so it lives up to it’s no fragrance so that’s amazing! To me it was thin for a face cream , thinner that what I’ve used in the last in regards to L’Oréal Face creams. The cream was easily absorbed but a little sticky, which I found unusual .
Unfortunately using twice a day I didn’t notice any lifting, firming, hydrating, wrinkle reduction. It honestly felt like putting a cheap body lotion on. I have mature sensitive, oily , dehydrated skin.
However I loved using this on my hands and arms as those are the parts of my body I have neglected , do they enjoyed getting some moisture.
I will continue to use the jar up to see if there is improvement as the trial may not have been enough?
L'Oréal Revitalift light, easy-to-apply, rapidly absorbing Hydrating Cream is pleasantly free of irritating fragrances.
The eco-friendly, easy open jar is an improvement, though the lack of an applicator was a bit of a disappointment, though better for the environment.
The product description sounds very promising with 'Biotechnology' power, and the fact that contains pro-retinols and 'lifting' probiotics add to the appeal.
On initial application, the cream felt strange, possibly because I have used natural, organic skin care products for a long time. I finally figured out what the strange feel was: synthetic!
While this product has a lot of good stuff, the long list of unpronounceable ingredients makes me wonder. (I have yet to look them all up to get an idea of what they are!)
At the end of this short trial, my skin does look and feel hydrated and friends tell me it looks so much better. (I have changed the cleanser I use during this time, so that will have also made a difference.) I will continue to use the product to monitor any further improvements over the next several weeks.
I found my skin could better tolerate this cream in the mornings, as night-time use resulted in very puffy morning eyes.
At this price point, there's a good variety of options so, at this stage, I doubt I will purchase it again.
I'll recommend it to any friends who use L'Oréal or similar brands.
Tips: Best used as a day cream. Don't forget to apply to your beautiful neck and décolletage. As I write this, I'm reminded of what a beautiful and elegant older lady once told me: "Always remember, your neck is the stem that holds up and supports your beautiful face, as a stem holds up a beautiful rose. Gently and thoroughly moisturize it from front to back every day."
