Delightful!

I love this cream. It has a gorgeous fragrance and I didn't expect it to be pink! It is a thick luxurious cream that is good for a night cream. It would be too heavy as a day cream. In a morning my skin felt very hydrated and smooth.

Soft and gentle

Whilst, I am three years off the product age, was keen to try. For a night cream it was light and had a very pleasant soothing aroma. Nothing as off putting as a night cream that's too strong. Definitely felt improved texture to my skin, very soft.

Tips: A little goes a long way

L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Night Cream

This night cream was a lovely light one to smooth over my face and neck and did not feel at all greasy like some night creams do. The smell is also light and pleasant. After about a week I thought my face did not seem to have its same winter paleness and is glowing a little more. I havent noticed any difference to firmness or lines though, maybe I need to use it longer than 2 weeks for that effect. This brand is reasonably priced so good value.

Specifically formulated for mature skin

This is a pretty pink cream, with a delicate light perfume, that is actually specially made for "very mature" skin - - but, even so, I guess that , at almost 85, I am testing it to its limits!

First impressions -very good -1. The packaging box has all the necessary information printed in a good sized clear font, suitable for aging eyesight. 2. Some creams are a little too thick and greasy, some a little too watery /runny but this (rather like the porriidge that Goldielocks stole from Baby Bear) is "just right".

I was a little apprehensive re the word cooling in the product description as i don't enjoy cold applications on my face - but it is is, in fact, just a very gentle and soothing sensation. Lately I have been noticing that some of my wrinkles were developing the sharpness of very old age - but now, they have softened again a little. Like King Canute I am aware that there are forces of nature that we cannot control but, with this product, I seem to have slowed down the tide for a while.

Tips: Printing on the jar label is as miniscule as usual , so keep the box in case you need to refer to any information.

Lovely night Cream

I used this night cream for about two weeks before reviewing. The 50mlglass jar comes in an attractive rose gold and pink box. The glass jar is purple and pink with a gold screw top lid. The cream is a light pink colour, thick and creamy. This night cream is targeted towards very mature and dull skin which is what I would describe mine as. It contains calcium B5 and Peony Polyphenols. The cream is easy to apply and only a small amount is needed. A strong rosy perfume, so if you don't like a strong smell you my not like this. I used this night cream in conjunction with the L'oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age eye cream. My skin is definitely softer and smoother and lines and wrinkles are not so noticeable. My face has a rosy glow after applying this cream. I would recommend this night cream for dull dry skin.

Tips: Apply at night after cleansing face and neck along with the matching eye cream.

Age Perfect Golden Age Night Cream

This is a smooth light cream reasonably thick but easy to apply evenly over face and neck It has a very pleasant fragrance which gave me a real lift at the end of the day . The packaging is very attractive and feminine , container easy to open even for aging fingers . My skin did look more attractive with a good colour and sagging appeared to reduced with the overnight treatment

Tips: Only a very small amount is needed to smooth evenly over face and neck . Really recommend the product for mature skin

Age Perfect Night Cream

This cream comes in a lovely glass jar that's recyclable. The cream is somewhat thick and is pink. It goes on nicely and sinks into my skin but for me didn't meet the claim for rosy skin however this wouldn't put me off from purchasing this. It's a nice night cream.

Tips: Apply to cleansed face, neck and decolletage before bed.

L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Night Cream.

My first thoughts were that this night cream has quite a lengthy name, on opening I was impressed with the pretty rose gold packaging and excited to give it it's trial. I am 60+ and lately have found my skin quite sensitive to creams and lotions and was eager to start. It has quite a pleasant smell and pink in colour. It's quite a thick consistency and I found it very easy to apply and not greasy at all. After applying my skin felt warm and almost tingly, with a definite rosy glow. It's been two weeks now and I am liking the results even though I don't think there's an obvious difference. I am going to continue using it nightly until finished.

Tips: A little goes a long way.

Perky Morning Skin

I've used this product every night for the past few weeks and I have noticed a difference in the mornings. My skin has a bit of a glow to it and it definitely feels tightened, which is unusual for me in the mornings. Normally I give my face a good massage first thing but with this product I didn't have to do that. Application wise, I would like to have had a spatula to remove the product from the jar. The product went on fairly well but I found it took a wee while to absorb. I liked the fresh minty smell and the tingling sensation afterwards. The only downside for me was that I had to keep it away from my eyes as they were quite sensitive to the product, even though I definitely didn't apply it around the eyes. I did wake a couple of mornings to stinging eyes where the product had migrated into that area. I probably would use a product that was more nourishing at this stage of my life as well, so I probably wouldn't buy it for myself.

Tips: I applied a night time serum underneath this product for extra nourishment. Also, I needed to keep it away from my eyes.

L'Oreal Age Perfect Golden Age Night Cream

Upon receiving the package, at first my thoughts were the name and details on the box could have been simplified, both seem very busy. When I saw the jar, I was taken by how attractive it was with its gold look lid and pink and lilac base. The cream itself had a gentle, subtle scent and was a nice creamy pink colour. I was getting very excited to try it that evening. It says it's cooling and rosy and yes, it was. It wasn't greasy or oily, went on well and my skin lapped it up.It's cost effective, as a little goes a long way. My skin felt softer and well nourished. It left my skin looking dewy and it had a slightly flushed look for several hours after use. It makes the claim of 'the appearance of sagging and re-tightening is reduced the next morning', after my two week trial, I cannot say this was my experience, but my skin does have a lovely texture whilst using this product. The fact that this product has not been the subject of any animal testing is a big selling point for me.

Tips: Try this on the back of one hand and one side of the face for two or three days and you will notice a change in skin texture, (before you use it over all your face) and you will see a difference.
