Sukin

Another Sukin product I love! Leaves my face feeling so soft and nice (especially after a Sukin exfoliating scrub) I love the Sukin skin range, it's so affordable and fresh smelling. My partner prefers the sensitive Sukin moisturiser, this one tends to sting his skin a bit

Tips: Use sensitive Sukin range if you have sensitive skin, it's just as wonderful

Herbal Moisturiser

I love that this moisturizer is paraben free, 100% vegan, not tested on animals and suitable for all skin types!

The tinted, pump action bottle ensures that the moisturizer stays hygienically clean and is not exposed to light, air or bacteria each time it is used. The lotion is lightweight and non-greasy and contains soothing ingredients like Aloe Vera, horsetail, nettle and burdock, as well as the healing properties of Rosehip, wheat germ, jojoba and avocado oils.

It has a slightly unusual, yet rather pleasant, herbal smell and is easily and quickly absorbed into the skin leaving it looking and feeling almost matte with absolutely no greasy residue.

One small thing that didn't fit my usual skincare checklist: I do like my daily moisturiser to contain an SPF and this one doesn't provide any form of sun protection. Other than having to apply a separate SPF, this really is a great moisturiser and is a perfect product to use under make-up.

Tips: If you have really dry skin, try applying a few drops of Rosehip Oil to your skin before moisturizing, or add the oil to the moisturizer (in the palm of your hand) before applying it.

I am for this moisturiser!

I like this moisturiser for many reasons. First of all, the one thing that really attracted me to this is their motto. I know it is only a company motto but I reckon it says it all about the company. Their motto is "Skincare that doesn't cost the Earth". It says about how environmental friendly this company is and because I do care for the environment, one way or another their product is good for it! I hope! So that was my main attraction towards this product. Second and probably the best are the ingredients, the product boasts "paraben free" which is an A+ in my opinion and also the list of ingredients that the product combines such as aloe vera, horsetail, burdock, jojoba oil etc which are the skin's BFF! So far, I love the company's environmental friendly motto and the skin friendly ingredients. However, let's go down to the use of this product. Does it really work? Well for starters I will have to state that I got a sample size of this product from a beauty subscription a while ago and I still have quite a bit left. I have a 30ml sample and I still have a bit left, not only because I am too lazy to put moisturiser daily or because I use different moisturiser some days, it is because a little does go a long way. This product is thin and moderately watery which in return goes a long way, it is very creamy however it can be a while to blend for it stays a bit longer on my skin to be absorbed, however I do find this product moisturising. It has a smooth effect, not so greasy like any other moisturiser. I found this product very light on my skin and it has not caused me any break outs on my acne prone skin. Although the product has beautiful natural ingredients, I must say that the product has a distinctive smell, nothing too foul, just a slight medicinal smell or herbal smell, could be from the herbal ingredients but it is not a big deal for me. I will continue to use this product and plan to buy more in the future!

Tips: A little does go a long way! Wait for a bit to allow your skin to absorb the product.

Value for money!

First of all, I really like the functional packaging of this moisturiser. I wish all products came with a pump as it is much more hygienic and user friendly. I decided to try this out due to it being free of nasty chemical additives (I have sensitive skin so this is great for me) and full of skin pampering natural ingredients which really appealed to me, plus it was on offer for a fantastic price I couldn't resist.

The moisturiser has a lovely vanilla citrus scent which I love and is a nice creamy constancy. To be honest for some reason I wasn't expecting anything amazing from this product (maybe because I haven't heard anyone really raving about it etc) so was quite pleasantly surprised when I liked it as much as I did.

I find it hydrates my (usually dry) skin, sinks in quickly and leaves it soft and plump. I like to use it both morning and night and have already purchased a back up since it is so affordable.

The only downside to this product is its lack of spf, but, to me that's not a biggie as I always have something on my face with spf and this makes it suitable for both day and night wear.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone and will repurchase it in the future. I will most likely check out some of Sukins other products now too after having such a good experience with this face moisturiser.

Tips: You don't need much of this moisturiser as it spreads over the skin well.

Who Can? Sukin! ... very close

In love with this moisturiser.

Quite a light but creamy consistency. On my skin it doesn't level a sticky residue that I find some moisturisers leave.

Is an all round fantastic hydrating moisturiser that I use daily. Very gentle on the skin and not packed full of chemicals, so fantastic for people with sensitive skin. I've never had any breakouts from using this product and I have quite sensitive skin, scent wise it is quite a fresh clean scent with a hint of vanilla, very natural smelling, not overwhelming.

Price wise it is a bargain, I've used more expensive moisturisers that have not delivered the results they promised. Really is value for money.

This product feels so nourishing on the skin, packed with aloe vera, rose hip, jojoba and avocado oil, you can't go wrong.

Packaging wise, this product doesn't really come in a 'cute' container, it is very simple, but functional which is what you want, I would rather have an amazing product in a simple package rather than an adorable display bottle containing an expensive overrated underwhelming product. I find I use around a bottle every couple of months and that is used twice a day morning and night, so product does go far in my opinion.

Hands down I would recommend this product along with any of the other sukin products. Wonderful, value for money, kind on the skin and the environment.

Tips: Use to remove makeup, apply to a damp cotton pad and gentle rub over skin, can also be used on eyes, although you will need something oil based to remove waterproof mascara.

Lightweight and easy to apply

I use the Sukin range regularly. This product is lightweight, absorbs easily and non greasy, although I use very sparingly on my T-zone (but I do that with all moisturisers). The pump feature makes it super easy to apply after cleansing or a shower.

Refreshing!

I was given a bottle of this from a wonderful BR member. She brought it into me while I was in hospital. It was the perfect gift to get. I hadn't heard of the brand sukin before. So she told me where I could buy it etc.

The packaging is nice and simple. Reminds me of earthy and nature things. Reading the label and the list of NO's backs up my feeling really. I really like the pump to get the product out.

The moisturiser is very light. It absorbs into your skin quickly. The smell is fresh. Even reading the ingredients I can't out my finger on the fragrance. It is absolutely perfect for a hospital gift as it's so light and fresh.

Even though this is the facial moisturiser I have used many times as hand moisturiser and body moisturiser. I have a horrid doctors cream and it's nice mixing some of this in to it.

This really does make you skin feel lovely

Light weight Moisturiser

This is a really good moisturiser that is light weight and not greasy. I use this everyday after I wash my face and it leaves my skin feeling nice and soft. You only need to use a little bit of product and it absorbs really quickly into your skin. The pump is really handy, I just push it lightly so that I don't squirt a massive amount of product out and always get the right amount. I love that it is a chemical free brand so I know I'm not putting lots of nasty ingredients on my skin.

Skin still feels dry :(

Although I once considered myself a massive fan of Sukin, repurchasing their products, after trying out some other moisturisers and having more to compare this product on, I feel like this product does not leave my skin feeling moisturised. After I started using this product, my skin feels flaky and dry... which is the opposite of what it is meant to do! This morning, I even found my skin peeling so much I was bleeding a bit.. which I've never had happen to me! The only time I ever feel fully satisfied with this product is when I apply heaps of product to my face. I don't know, maybe it's just my skin (my skin is particularly dry) but I won't be repurchasing this moisturiser. It does smells beautiful and leaves your skin smelling floral. It's texture is also great, as it isn't sticky and thick like some moisturisers. My skin also goes red and feels a bit burny when I use it..
