affordable and works!

By far the best makeup remover I have tried. The e.l.f makeup remover wipes take EVERYTHING off, even my toughest waterproof mascara. Packaging is super sleek and cute and I never have to worry about my wipes drying with the packaging.

I love these and they are my HG. When I'm too lazy to use my cleansing oil or if I'm super tired and just can't bring myself to wash my face at night, these do the trick. They are very moist so they don't tug on my skin, the wipes don't rip in half when I use them, and they remove 90% of my makeup with just ONE wipe. They also leave my skin soft and refreshed. I love them!

A stable in my bathroom

Theres something about a facial wipe that not only easily removes your makeup but leaves your skin feeling soft and smells good.

This is my favorite cleansing wipe that I have found the only down side is its not easy to find and if you do its the cost of postage that gets you as the product itself is affordable. I do wish they would make bigger packets with more wipes in them but for a affordable product it in my opinion does a better job than some of the more expensive wipes I have tried.

Good price

I threw these into my cart when doing an iherb order. I really like the plastic flip top lid on the packaging, no chance of these wipes drying out. The wipes are very moist and non-textured. It removes my face & lip makeup ok but does make a smudgy mess of removing eye makeup. I don’t like how it says on the packaging to rinse my face after using, I didn’t bother anyway and didn’t have any side effects. Even though these are a pretty good price I am not sure I would re-purchase them. Would rather spend a bit more and get a wipe that completely removes all traces of make-up.

Tips: For the price it is worth giving these wipes a go and seeing if they work for you

Cheap and Cheerful

On a recent iherb order these are another thing that just magically flew into my online cart. At $3 it wasn't particularly harmful to my Credit Card balance. Plus you can always do with a back up of makeup removing wipes. I try not to use makeup removing wipes too often as I know the ingredients can be harsh on your skin, but sometimes it just happens.

For $3 the packaging of this is super good. It is pretty simple, but really how much can you do with makeup removing wipes. It is all black. I like that the lid is hard plastic so you know it will stay completely closed no matter how many times you use it. Underneath that is a soft plastic lid like the usual wipes packaging. I usually keep my wipes stored upside down so I love the double lid keeps the liquid in with no worries.

The scent of these is pretty non-offensive. Just kind of clean smelling, sorry for my crap description. The 7inch square size is pretty good size for cleaning my whole face. This does get most of my makeup off. Although they say that they get the waterproof mascara off, which it doesn't get every scrap off without some serious scrubbing (which I don't want to do around my eyes). This didn't irritate my skin at all which is great, it also didn't strip my skin which I really appreciate.

Impressed for the price! I think another packet of this will magically fly into my cart again next time I make an order on iherb.

Not bad

These wipes do a good job of shifting makeup at the end of the day for lazy people like me who cant really be arsed cleansing properly. They didn't seem to do any better or worse a job than any other cleansing wipe I have used (although I don't tend to purchase any high end or expensive ones). The price is really solid- it can be hard to find wipes under $10 from supermarkets so even with the conversion $3US is a great price. There are cons to this product however- firstly, the wipes are super thin, and small, so realistically I think (as with most elf products) you are paying less, but you are also getting less for your money. Secondly, these smell terrible, very chemically, and they kind of give the impression that you are using the cleansing cloths you clean the interior of your car with. So offensive was the smell, that I expected my face to be burning afterwards from all the chemicals. Smell aside though, would probably purchase again as an add on to an iherb order.

Elf wipes!

There has been many a blogger/vlogger raving about these wipes, and they are right. These are great at removing all traces of makeup, They are a bit thin, and you have to be aware they will separate out a bit. This doesn't affect the fact that one wipe will remove all makeup from your face (this from the girl who wears minimal makeup though, so I can't speak about a full face of makeup).

The scent is fine (nothing special but not off-putting either), but the packaging is really well thought out. There is a plastic resealable lid over where you pull out the wipes. This means it is really easy to keep the whole packet moist down to the very last wipe.

The formula is fantastic though, and they have a great price-tag too; $3USD. Fantastic! I've got several backups of these wipes, so I'm set for the next few months.

Tips: Chuck these in your bag or glovebox, they are so cheap and awesome you can use them anywhere you want (and for non-beauty related things too if need be).

Not too bad

e.l.f Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths are not too bad. I like the black packaging with white writing on the pouch. I also like the plastic lid as it has a lip on it, so easy opening. Once you open the lid, pull back the sealing sticker and pull out a wipe.

e.l.f Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths have a zesty lemon fragrance. They actually remind me of a cleaner they must have used when I attended Kindergarten (million years ago). Amazing what memories your senses can trigger :-)

I used the wipes for a fortnight before actually reading the instructions on the back. Whoops! You are meant to rinse off after use with warm water. All I have been doing is moisturising after use and there have been no changes to my skin. No harm done.

The wipes take my eye make up off easily and they do not sting my eyes. e.l.f Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths come in a great small pouch that you can throw in overnight bag.

Tips: Read the instructions and information on the back before use :-)

n.t.y

This is the first e.l.f product that I have to say No Thank You to.

My latest beauty obsession is makeup removing cleansing cloths, and I'd previously had an excellent experience with another brand, but as I was doing an iherb order I thought I'd toss a pack of these in and give them a whirl. Thank goodness they're only a few dollars, otherwise I would've been having a 'what a waste of money' moment.

The packaging is simple, a black pouch with white accents. It'd fit nicely into a bag or your car's glove compartment, which is always handy. The cloths come out easily enough and look and feel a lot like babywipes. Now this next bit is where the wheels fell off for me. They stink!! They remind me of the smell of just cleaned public toilets! Sweet, but chemically. And just plain out spew inducing! (I know, that's quite harsh, but it's how I felt). I battled through the stench and wiped my face and yes makeup came off. Then looking at the instructions I noted that it said to rinse your face after using. At that point I thought 'what is the point?'. If I'm that near a basin I may as well just use cleanser! So I got up and did use cleanser, to take the smell away, then threw the pack on the bedside table vowing to never use it again. And I haven't.

Call me fussy, but I like a makeup remover that can be done from the comfort of bed, that does not need rinsing off, and does not stink to high heaven. Yes, it removes makeup, but it doesn't remove hassle. Not. My. Favourite. N.T.Y.

Ease of bed use is a requirement. Thanks for pointing out it needed to be washed off!

Great find, even better price!

Ok so I am one of those naughty people that hates to remove there make up and often goes to bed with it on and then in the morning furiously rubs there eyes to get it off until I tried these !

I tend to wear a lot of black eyeliner and also a waterproof mascara. When I use these wipes it only takes a few wipes and all my eye make up is gone. I also found that it was really gentle on my sensitive eyes and also that it worked wonders getting my Double wear foundation off.

The packaging wasn't anything exciting they can in a black packet with a hard top on them. I did enjoy the smell as it was kinda of lemony and was quite refreshing.

Tips: I would definitely recommend these for eye make up removal and perfect size for the bag !

Hello new friend

So I had to give in. I have eye makeup that sticks fast. I use coconut oil, cream cleansers and hot water. Nothing seems to remove the final bits of mascara even when I'm positive it's all gone.

So onto the old FB chat to ask my knowledgable BRA "what on earth do you use?!" Elf makeup remover wipes was the answer. Off to Iherb I went to do my "grocery shopping"

Well this plain black packet with a hard plastic flip top arrived. You pop the lid, then peel back a big sticker (I keep revealing the sticker) and pluck out the wee wipe.

Looks like baby wipes to me. Smells like lemon, nice and fresh. The wipe itself is a good size. It's fairly thin. I keep thinking babies.

Right you, get this muck off my eyes! One swipe, look at the wipe and there is lots of black! Heck! A few more wipes and wa la! My eyelashes are cleaner than a babies bottom!

Now I wait for a sting. My skin is sensitive and when I have tried in the past, my face has burned. Nope, nothing. I stand here looking at the wipe. It doesn't have a excess of wet stuff. It's not dry either. It's not oily. I'm confused as to what it actually is. Oh I know, "magic!" I used it on my arm where you are meant to so the sensitive test and left it.

Then I think, what the heck, let's try this out properly and I use it to wash my whole face. No tingling. Ha! Awesome!

I apply my nightly creams and in the morning no reactions at all. I've been using these every night with no reaction at all. Nothing showed on my arm.

I can't use toners, and have to use general cleansers normally

Huge tick at removing EVERYTHING Huge tick at not reacting Huge tick knowing I have a product that can come everywhere.

So I highly recommend everyone grabbing a pack of these. Iherb is really cheap

Tips: You really only need to use one to remove a whole face of makeup
