First getting is product it was great , made my lips smooth and got rid of all the dryness, a few weeks later the product got really harsh as the oils left and was stuck with a harsh sharp sugar, product still works well if you put lip balm on firsts, worth your money but DIY lipscrub may be more convenient.

Tips: Be careful with it.
I really like that this lip scrub is in a lipstick bullet, it makes it really easy and convenient to apply. It is more gentle than my lush lip scrubs are, which is okay for some days, but sometimes I want it to be a bit harsher. The only real thing that bothers me about this lip scrub is the overwhelming vanilla scent and taste - it is so strong! If you like vanilla, this could be a good thing for you, but I really don't!
Bought because my lips are very cracked and dry in the winter season and I love to use this before lipstick.
This product doesn't exfoliate my lips as effectively as other products but it does if you keep rubbing it on your lips for awhile. It smells like caramel and tastes so good I could almost eat it. For the price it is pretty good, but definitely not the best.
I bought this product after hearing a wee bit about it and experiencing some trouble applying my beloved liquid matte lippies. i chuch this on when i start my makeup and leave it until its time to do my lippie, and it works a treat. Gently exfoliates and removes all flaking, but doesnt dry your lips out. It makes the application of lippie so much better!
I usually use the Lush Lip Scrubs before applying lipstick but ran out so decided to try this and found this really great especially for the price.
It was a lot easier to use than a scrub because it is in lipstick form and not messy. It did the job well.
The only other comments I can make is that it didn't have a great smell and after a few weeks it dried out and was quite hard to use but then for only paying $5 I wasn't too disappointed.
Tips: Use with the e.l.f lip plump and primer before applying your fave lippy!
I had heard a lot about this lip exfoliator lately so I added one to my last iherb order for around $4. If it was not so cheap I probably wouldn't have bothered as I could make one pretty easily.
I am so delighted and impressed with it though! The packaging is great, nice and sleek and easy to pop in my handbag or sponge bag when needed.
My lips tend to get a bit flaky which is not a good look when wearing lippy, but with a couple of quick swipes of this they are lovely and smooth.
I personally find the sugary taste a bit too sweet, but I don't really care.
This is a really effective wee product and I highly recommend it.
The e.l.f Lip Exfoliator is a nice product. I got it from iherb where it was super cheap. I really like e.l.f for their affordable but good quality products.
It's handy because it comes in a stick form, it looks just like a lipstick. This means no dipping fingers in a pot, however you are scrubbing it on your lips each time you use it. But then again you are with your lipstick too. I think the tube is really great for travel too, very convenient.
One of the main things that I really loved about this product is the smell, it smells gorgeous. It has shea butter and a a whole host of other oils and moisturizing agents. The smell is definitely the best part for me.
It worked pretty well for the first few times, but it broke on about the second use. I have heard others talk about this too. You are pushing it on your lips so if you are not careful it is really easy for it to break off at the base. It's still usable.
I really liked it the first few times I used it, it was smooth and buttery and left my lips feeling soft and clean. After a while however the moisturizing part diminishes and you are left with the harsh scrub parts, it gets to be a bit to harsh. You can make it work by turning it around and using the other side, not as easy but doable, and you can use something else to replace the part that makes it glide on, a lip balm works well.
So overall a good product but some things to watch out for. If you are paying the low American prices then well worth it. I would not spend much more on it though.
Tips: Be careful as it's easy to break the stick off at the base.
The lip exfoliator comes in a large classy black box, however the actual exfoliator is small, so the packaging is misleading, as I thought I was getting more product. The exfoliator comes in a classy black rectangular lipstick canister, making it convenient to apply compared to the Lush lip scrubs. The scrub looks brown and rough and smells pleasantly like chocolate and coffee. The lipstick was snapped in half when I got mine which was disappointing, but I easily squished it back together. However due to the texture of this, is quite prone to snapping off.
I found this exfoliating my lips incredibly well, and got rid of all the dead skin. It also left my lips feeling conditioned and nourished, likely because of the shea and jojoba butter in it. However, the taste of this was quite icky, it tastes sweet with a touch of a chemical taste, so whenever I use this I have to wash it off, which is rather annoying. I'd prefer this if it tasted nice like the Lush lip scrubs.
Aside from the taste, this is an affordable lip scrub and does the trick and I'd consider getting it again.
Hate the smell. Its nice that it comes in a lipstick shape as it makes it easier to apply but can be quite rough on the skin. Good for the price but theres definitely better exfoliators out there
