I really wanted to like this product.. I don't hate it but I am not sold. First impressions, it smelt delicious and I loved the fact that the smallest amount is enough to exfoliate and even a relatively small amount is enough to use as a masque too, means its going to be wallet friendly so to speak. Its pretty cool how its a dual action product.. I like that. However.. The results.. To be honest my skin is looking brighter but it doesn't feel as nice as I would have expected.. My skin feels almost chalky.. Like its a few levels off being dry after using this product.. Yeah it feels clean but I would have expected it to feel a lot more supple after using this product. No visible difference in the appearance of my pores like I would have expected with it also having clay's to form a mask. I will be sticking with my regular mask and regular exfoliant!

Oasis Beauty Fruit Smoothie Exfoliating Mask Review
What is Fruit Smoothie? It's a face mask and enzyme + physical scrub in one naughty little number! It's a powerful but gentle multipurpose product for glowing skin in no time at all. Contains natural clay to draw out impurities for super smooth skin while the jojoba beads combined with papaya, pineapple and pink grapefruit exfoliate away rough skin.
Active naturals jojoba, kaolin & pink clays, NZ honeydew, apricot kernel, shea butter, papaya, pineapple, neem and pink grapefruit

Tips: Great that it offers two products in one, looking at it economically wise that saves you a bit of money.. I just think there are other products that do a better job.
I received a sample of this product and so far I have done about 4 masks with it alongside using it as an exfoliater.
I'm sad to say that I really don't see what all the fuss is about! I don't think it really unclogged pores or left me feeling like it had really cleansed my skin at all. It did work as an exfoliate, but not a good one and after I had washed it off it felt as though it left a sort of residue on my skin.
The product has gone a long way for the size and I love that its NZ made but I think those are the only real plusses.
Personally this product did not add up to the hype i heard it to be. It does have a lovely fragrance and texture but I found when i left it on my skin like you would a mask it just started to irritate my skin and i don't have sensitive skin whatsoever. it did work as an exfoliate nicely. But personally i did not find a huge difference in my skin afterwards. and the exfoliating beads were quite of a mission to remove as even after cleansing my skin again because it felt quite oily afterwards i was still finding product left over.
I feel so bad giving this a not-so-positive review, because so many of you ladies obviously love this! However, it just didn't do... well, anything... for me.
I love the smell, first off. It's super fruity and refreshing, and just all round delicious (although I don't think you're meant to taste it). I also really like the texture in terms of application: not too thick, like some masks can be, but not so thin that it's hard to get a good layer on.
I've used this as both a mask and just an exfoliant. Both ways, I feel like it hasn't done much. The little exfoliating beads aren't too rough, and do feel like they're doing a good job, but once I've rinsed it all off and moisturised, I don't feel like my skin has been properly exfoliated: I still have any dry patches from before, and around my nose/areas where I experiene a few blackheads, etc, I don't notice any difference at all. Above all, my skin just doesn't feel that much smoother than before, which is this product's main claim.
I got this as a sample from Oasis, which I would recommend - I've used it about six times, and I still have over half left, so it's a really good way to try it out. I dunno. It works for so many people, so it is worth a go - it just didn't work that well for me personally.
Hope that helps! xx
This product had good reviews basically that's how I've been buying all my products thru the rave reviews and it's Oasis so it has to be great. unfortunately I don't like it. The product has an usual appearance but nice colour pinky grapefruit look. It is a twonderful in one product either a scrub/exfoliater or a mask you choose. Use is just like a scrub and rinse off or leave it on the face as a mask then rinse off. Either way I didn't like it. I know I don't want to be negative. But I found as a mask it didn't provide me the clinging tight feel or the hardness that a mask has when left on. So wasn't overly impressed with its mask effect. as for a scrub well it was ok. Not awesome but ok. Everything about it wants me to say its awesome the ingredients are all awesome the look of it the paste type consistency really does look like a smoothy and it has a friendly scent like all natural products do. That kind of scent you know it's good to eat or soak into your skin. It just wasn't my cup of tea. I still love Oasis. Maybe this suits the type of person who likes the lighter application of skin care masks and exfoliaters ?
This product smells great and feels great being applied however I did find that I had to use a fair bit of a smallish $40 container. It did leave my skin feeling smooth as promised and not dry like other exfoliating products have. It set as a nice mask! Not too hard and constricting like some other brands have. It stung when put over any blemishes (pimples)I had at the time of use but took the oily sheen off my face (yay!) I will continue to use the product but at this time considering the price, size and amount needed each use i dont think it is something I will go hunting for once the bottle is finished.
I was so excited to try out this product and received it as a free sample from oasisbeauty.co.nz. The free sample has enough for 1-2 face masks, depending on how heavily you choose to apply it. I'll admit that I was expecting this product to be something of a miracle but I was disappointed with the actual results.
I followed the tips on the website and used this as a scrub/exfoliant, massaging it into my skin, and then let it set as a mask. I left the mask on for 20 minutes, as that's typically how long I leave masks on for.
When I took off the mask my skin did feel lovely, it was much smoother and softer than before I used the mask. However, my skin didn't noticeably seem to 'glowing' or otherwise much improved. After using my usual face scrub my skin looks fresh and clean, much better than before I used it. But with this, my skin looked pretty much the same. This mask made very minor improvements to my skin that weren't really noticeable.
I was so expecting to love Fruit Smoothie but my results were rather disappointing. I think I'll stick to my regular exfoliant for now.
Tips: For extra softness follow up with the Berry Brightening Tonic (also by Oasis Beauty).
I was very excited to receive this product from Oasis as a sample to have a 'try before I buy'. From the reviews on here, the product seems great but when I got it in the post, I was a little disappointed. They give you a very generous amount which went nicely on my face, but I didn't find the product to be much of a mask. After rubbing it in, I discovered I was also just rubbing the clay off, and after letting it set, it was a mission to get the rest off my face even after using the recommended products (I had a sample of their Milk Cleanser which I used). I liked that it was natural and cruelty free, but if I wanted a cleaner looking face, I would have to use my chemical scrub mask.
Tips: Make sure you really clean it off afterwards, the clay can leave your face feeling stiff.
I really do like this brand - after all I've purchased their entire skincare range but I do not like this product at all.
I have very sensitive skin and was excited to try out this face mask/exfoliation scrub as I find this skincare line to be nice, gentle and soothing on my skin but surprisingly this mask completely burnt my skin.
As soon as I applied the mask my skin started to get really itchy and it burnt like crazy. I had to rinse it off straight away and I was left with a red and irritated face. I'm guessing the fruit enzymes in the mask didn't agree with my type of skin.
Although I had a bad experience and probably wont be using this product again it sounds like other people have had awesome experiences with it so if you have non sensitive skin I'm sure it will do wonders for you.
Oasis seems to get rave reviews for all their products so I couldn't wait to get a few for myself to try.
This was one of the products I chose.
It's a dark pink clay type cream with fine jojoba beads. It has a scent, I don't find it appealing, it isn't a strong smell so it's bearable. It's a scratchy exfoliant, which I don't really like much anyways as its not the best way to exfoliate your face. I expected from the 'fruit' in the name that it would be a much more enzyme based exfoliant, but I feel the most exfoliating comes from the scratchy beads. My face looks red afterwards. It's great that it's natural and safe etc but I'm just not feeling any love for this product. I won't buy it again or recommend it to anyone.
