St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub Review

This scrub is so harsh and abrasive and for a long time I was scared it had permanantly damaged my skin (I used it for ages without realising it was causing my skin problems!) I much prefer chemical exfoliators now and would never buy this again.

I couldn't be without this face scrub. A regular in my shower. I have used this for well over a year and its so invigorating and smells amazing. Makes my skin feel fresh and new. I use this scrub about twice a week and its perfect for a lovely wake up in the morning.

I have used this product for years. I have quite open pores across nose area and this product really gives everything a good clean out without being too harsh. Leaves your skin feeling soft.

I use it and fall in love. It does what i mean to do. I bought one for my Mum and she loves it too. It is a good exfoliater, leaving my skin feeling clean and fresh

By putting a small amount on my hand and gently massaging into my face it leaves it soft and smooth. It has a lovely apricot scent which I love, not too overpowering. I prefer to use this often rather than the couple of times a week like beauticians, etc tell you to use it. Forgive me if I am wrong but it has natural exfoliating beads in it instead of the plastic beads you normally get in other exfoliators which pollute our water. It can be quite harsh on skin so you should only use it twice a week as it is scrubbing off the dead skin and you do not want to be scrubbing off more that just your dead skin. My friend who is a beauty therapist however has told me that you should not use this as it is too harsh for your skin and if you do to only use it once or twice a week max. I still enjoy it but there is probably a better product out there for me but probably comes at a cost.

I like this facial scrub. It feels quite invigorating and makes my skin feel soft and clean. I use it a couple of times a week as too often I think wouldn't be too good for the sensitive skin of the face. Would defo recommend this to others.

This was one of the very first scrubs I used as a teenager. This scrub unfortunately is is too harsh for my sensitive facial skin. I suffered bad redness after using this and my skin felt sore. I now use Oasis fruit smoothie as it is much move delicate but effective. I ended up using this on my body instead. My skin felt clean without feeling like it's been stripped of all its good oils. It is great for skin prep before a tan and helps my moisturiser absorb better into my skin as it's much smoother. I would recommend only using this once a week as it does a very good job exfoliating.

This scrub is gentle and makes my skin feel great. It's also very affordable so it ticks all the boxes. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry so I find that I am using less moisturiser. Smells great, I am a user for life!

I know many people who have tried this so when my sister brought this home one day I was eager to try it. Being the type of person who didn't really ever have bad skin texture my skin suddenly became rough and flakey. This product polished my face and now it is extremely smooth and glowy. I will continue using this once a week since it is quite coarse compared to the rest of my exfoliants.

This product is an all round amazing product. I have been using this scrub since I was a teen, it has been a staple product in my beauty regime.

The packaging is simple in design and easy to use, ensures you can use up every last bit. The scrub itself is creamy with a fresh apricot scent. The scrub is gritty and ensures a very thorough cleanse with each use.

I use this product 2-3 times per week for a deep clean, or whenever my skin is feeling particularly oily. My skin is left feeling fresh and clean, this product is especially effective in maintaining any breakouts.

I absolutely love this product and for the price it is well worth buying.
