Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Scrub Pink Grapefruit Review

I really like this scrub!! It's not harsh. Which is fine, because I like a gentle scrub for my face. I lovvveee the smell. Very clean and refreshing. I use in the morning and at night and so far that's been fine. Will probably go down to one time a day for the winter. I think this cleanser helps my face stay matte a little longer. Overall, good cleanser, decent price, worth a try.

After a use, my skin feels smooth and deep cleaned, not to meantion my blackheads are visably going away after a few uses!

Considering it's an exfoliator, they can be very harsh on the skin and this one definitely is harsh on my skin. Left me with even drier skin, patchy and itchy. Really not impressed, but would probably work for other skin types.

This is a great facial scrub that does the job and smells divine. I used this mainly on my T-zone on acne areas and my nose to remove blackheads. It amazingly does a great job without irritating my skin. It does makes my face feels a little dry and but i'm fine with that as I only use it on some areas of my skin.

I have been using this cleanser for the last few weeks every morning in the shower. I like that it is a combo of cleanser and exfoliater - anything to save a step in the morning is fine by me. I also like that the packaging and actual product is pink. That is about where my good points end.....

The scent of this is super strong. It definitely smells like grapefruit but maybe one that has chemicals injected into it. I don't mind scented products at all, but this is too much for me. I've gotten used to it as I've been using it, but I still don't really like it.

The texture of the product is nice, it is very fine grained so like it says, you won't over exfoliate but I feel like it doesn't do quite as much as I like. I use the st ives apricot scrub every second day so I'm used to a much grittier scrub.

After washing it off my face, I don't feel a tightness which is nice. I have dryer skin and don't get much acne, but I actually think this product has broken me out as I'm sporting a few pimples around my chin and mouth area at the moment.

I'll use the rest of the tube, just as I don't like wastage but I won't re-purchase this again.

I tried this product having acne prone skin and I can say that the micro beads are gentle, but not for everyday use since it can be harsh for sensitive skin. This product is not fragrance free and does have a very strong, but nice grapefruit scent.

I used this facial scrub for a really long time. At first it was amazing and it cleared up my acne (which was quite bad) really well. Although after a while my face started getting quite dry and the acne returned and so it wasnt really doing anything. I dont use it anymore but i would definitely buy it again to use occasionally if i got a break out or felt like i needed a extra deep cleanse. I think it stopped working on me because i used it everyday and my skin got used to it. I definitely think the beads are gentle enough for everyday use but it can be drying so use a moisturiser afterwards definitely! Smells nice but can be a bit chemically.

I really love the smell of this product, much more pleasant that most exfoliators. And the bottle is a good size and easy to use.

The downside is, it left my skin really dry. Which can be a vicious circle, because the drier my skin got, the more I wanted to use the product, because I wanted to exfoliate away the dry patches... eventually I clicked, and once I stopped using this product, the dryness corrected itself.

So not for people with dry skin issues, might be ok for oily skin?

It has an amazing grapefruit smell that makes me feel awake and fresh. The product is a nice pink colour which I think is quite cute.

There are tiny little microbeads in it that are really nice and gentle on your skin. Even though they are small they do a good job of scrubbing and cleaning your skin. I found that I only needed a small amount of product to clean my whole face, a pea size amount. After my face was cleaned I found that my skin had a nice glow to it.

My skin is a combination of both oily and dry patches. I did find that it dried my skin out a bit so now I just use it 2-3 times a week and this has helped reduce the extra dryness, gets rid of my oily patches and keeps my skin clear.

The packaging is pink which is cool that it matches the actual colour of the product. You get a really good amount of product for the price that you pay and since you only need a little bit per wash its last for ages.

An almost clear gel with very fine tiny exfoliating grains and a fake fruity smell. It smells fresh and fake fruity- like its trying to imitate an all natural product which it isn't totally so why pretend? It scrubs dead skin cells off your face so it's going to be at the very least a little harsh- is the strong smell masking another less appealing smell? I like that the grains are really tiny as a lot of scrubs/exfoliators have larger particles which can feel really scratchy. I have more mature skin which gets quite congested so I like to exfoliate regularly and this is great for that. I wouldn't recommend using it daily but every second or third day. Skin feels smooth and fresh after using this product. I didn't experience any drying effects as others have but I always use sunscreens and moisturisers so they may balance it out. I don't feel that this would be suitable for sensitive skin due to the salicylic acid and grainy texture which could irritate skin.

I needed a scrub, the pink grapefruit and cute pink tube pretty much won me over.

This product is oil-free which is great, I have oily skin. The scrub is very fine and is a nice thickness so it doesn't get messy.

After using, my face feels instantly cleaner and softer. There's no oily residue at all so I'm impressed as I do battle with products that don't clean the oil away.

The product smells amazing as I knew it would and pink grapefruit is really a great smell to wake up the senses in the morning.
