The packaging is sturdy and durable. The flip top is tight and won't be easily opened when in a bag or a handbag.
The wipes smells heavenly and it is not overpowering at all and the smell is just light enough to make you feel like you are at a spa.
The wipes are thick and with enough of a wetness to clean your face and even the stubborn mascara that's always hard to clean. After cleaning your face feels fresh and clean and relaxed and not oily.
I love the convenience of using these wipes instead of washing my face in the morning. A quick wipe and I was done. They did a great job of removing makeup at the end of the day. Most other brands I've tried always leave a bit behind but not these, it must be the micellar that sets them apart. Other brands I've used in the past have made my skin either tingle or just straight out burn but I found these to be super gentle. The soft rosewater scent is a lovely touch. I also love the feminine packaging. The only reason I didn't rate this higher is because I didn't like the tight feeling I was left with afterwards that my usual toner doesn't do. My skin felt refreshed but not soft or relaxed.
I love the smell of these. They smell very calming and relaxing. The wipes are large, don't fall apart when used and stay moist once open. They are very gentle on skin and remove foundation well. Unfortunately, they didn't remove my waterproof mascara very well and I had to resort to my usual method of removal.
As someone who has very sensitive skin and tends to break out when I use a lot of products, especially those that don't get washed off, this is great and didn't give a reaction at all. They left my skin feeling clean, soft and moisturised.
I would recommend these wipes with the caveat that you'll probably need to stick to your normal waterproof mascara remover. As a reference, I use Estee Lauder Double Wear Zero Smudge Mascara that normally removes very easily with just warm water.
Tips: Great to take the dirt and grime off at the end of the day Make sure to remove waterproof mascara first!
I will start with this statement, ‘I haven’t used facial cleansing wipes in 6 months’ (trying to stop my use of single use products), but I really liked these wipes. Starting with appearance, the packaging is super cute, compact as most facial wipes are, and comes with a snap close lid. The wipe I found was a lot stronger then wipes I have used so didn’t pull apart when stretched, it has a lot tighter weave so didn’t thin out either which I found with other brands. When wiping off my foundation/makeup I found that because the wipe was a little thicker I didn’t get makeup bleed through the wipe and onto my hands, it also took off quiet a lot of makeup very easily. Having the micellar already on the wipe also help this makeup removal a lot easier too. When removing wipes from the packet I found it wasn’t soaked with product, bonus! The rosewater scent is pleasantly strong but doesn’t linger long after use, I personally love it for both these reasons. Being rosewater it left my skin feeling toned, clean & refreshed without the use of water and an entire cleansing routine. In the past 3 days I have travelled for work and found keeping the packet in my car has helped keep me fresh faced between meetings and store visits. I have picked up another packet for use while on holiday and when travelling for work, but for at home I will stick to a flannel, micellar and clearsonic (May add a few drops of rosewater in too). For $7.99 it is a little pricey for cleansing wipes but you do get a great product and convenience.If used right you can use one wipe per use, so that could be a months worth if used daily.
I really enjoyed using these wipes and have recommended them to a few friends and family. I do have combination/sensitive skin, but have found these wipes didn’t cause any irritation or reactions.
Tips: Use makeup remover for dark or heavy eye makeup to help breakdown product first, then go in with the wipe.
Really good wipes, great at removing makeup they claim to remove even waterproof mascara which they did do but it took a bit extra. They have a very strong rose scent but other than that I really recommend.
I'm a fan of rosewater so I really liked these wipes, the smell is amazing. They are gentle on the skin while still removing makeup. I only wear light makeup but these wipes took it right off, although mascara took a bit more work. I even did a double cleanse to see how well they worked and I didn't need to bother, they did actually remove make up well. They left my skin feeling soft and refreshed, unlike other wipes that I find can be quite drying. My sensitive skin can sometimes react badly to fragranced products, these wipes seemed to take some redness away though. Fantastic to calm and cleanse after the gym, think they will also make a great travel product. One of my favourite things about this product was actually the packaging. I hate when you put out a wipe and a whole lot comes out then it's hard to close the tab and keep the rest of the wipes from drying out. Well with this packaging you only get one wipe out at a time and it doesn't pull out others. Plus the plastic tab keeps all the remaining wipes fresh.
Tips: When taking off mascara hold the wipe to your eye for a bit to help loosen the mascara, then it comes off nicely.
I'm so glad I got to try this product as I haven't really experienced Micellar water or found make up remover wipes that I have been happy with.
These wipes smell amazing, it does smell like you've entered the spa.
I love that the wipes aren't extremely dry, although I thought they could've been more damp. Having said that though, the dampness was just fine. I only needed one wipe to remove my makeup which is pretty good.
It does remove waterproof makeup which is great but doesn't entirely remove all eye makeup, you may need to focus on the eyes harder or use an extra wipe depending on how much eye makeup you're wearing.
After using the wipes, your skin is left feeling smooth and soft. As mentioned earlier, the wipes smell great.
All in all, these wipes are nice and luxurious without the hefty price tag.
On the whole, I really liked these wipes. They left my skin feeling refreshed and clean without the tight feeling that some of the other facial wipes can. The only this that I was slightly unimpressed with was it didn't take my mascara off well and it's not a waterproof one.
Tips: Make sure you follow the directions and hold it on your face for a moment before wiping to help remove makeup.
These wipes come in pretty packaging. The have a plastic opening on the top allowing for easy removal of the wipes, this also ensures the wipes don’t dry out. They have a have a pleasant rose scent which I isn’t too overpowering. My face felt fresh after using these. The found them not that effective in removing eye make up however I would still use them again.
I'm generally not a fan of single-use products but I must admit that I'm pretty sold on these wipes. They have a lovely fragrance and come in a very handy, take anywhere pack - great for travelling or if you're like me and currently spending time in hospital and having treatment. I found that these really gave my skin a boost and made me feel very refreshed on the whole - something that I really value at the moment. I found that they didn't really remove mascara without needing quite a bit of rubbing - something my mother always nagged me about not doing! Would I use them again? Yes, absolutely when I feel that my skin needs a boost. The micellar and rosewater really helped to tone and calm very stressed skin. I found them overall to be great value, convenient and very soothing.
Tips: You will need to use another cleanser for heavy makeup and/or mascara, so their claim of 'Even removes waterproof makeup...' is not quite on the money for me.
