Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review

I have been waiting a while before I typed my thoughts on this one, I wanted to really give this a good trial before voicing my opinion.

Firstly, I purchased this from the Supermarket on special for about $9. I waited until most of the hype was over and I'm glad, I don't like frantically trying to search down a product along with thousands of other people!

I'm pretty much at the end of my first bottle, and I have to say, I'm just not that impressed.

They say it's good for 200+ uses etc on the bottle -what?! I imagine that is only true if all you wore was mascara! I go through at LEAST 8 soaked cotton pads to remove my makeup, and I wouldn't say I wore heavy coverage. I'm not so keen on the feel of my skin afterwards, it just doesn't leave a nice 'clean' feeling, so I find I'm still reaching for another cleanser to finish the job. I have also noticed that it does irritate my skin too, leaving it red and blotchy, as well as a bit itchy.

All in all, I really don't like the product or the results and I won't repurchase.

I had been waiting to try this product out ever since it came out, finally got some so I could see what all the hype was about.

This..Is ...Amazing. It works and I'm not sure what kind of dark magic it is. I use one cotton pad only and it removes everything. With heavier makeup I might use two.

It doesn't sting, has no smell and it isn't oily. You don't need to wash your face after but I still do use my face cleanser.

It seems to last quite a while so you really get value for money.

Easy to use, just pour a bit on a pad & get wiping. I like to use it after a cleanser - just to make sure I get everything. As a makeup remover it does work, but I just dont get the clean feeling I'm used to. This is probably due to it being gentle and actually good for my skin.

I did find it brilliant as a makeup brush cleaner!

This product is a lifesaver for those who are having a lazy day lol my go to product to remove my makeup it does not sting when applied to my face as other products do it leave my face hydrated and smooth fragrance free leaves my feeling refreshed.

As the title suggests.. I love this product.

Finally got my hands on it after a long while searching... It is so gentle, it removes EVERYTHING without having to scrub!

I think you get great value for money (you only need a little and the bottle will last forever)

I have gleefully incorporated the Garnier Micellar water into my routine.

I first had tried the L'Oreal version and had been quite disappointed, so I had very high hopes for the Garnier branded water!

I have been using this product for over a month now and I have not had any issues with it causing skin tightness/rough-dry patches/breakouts.

I use this product to take off my make up at night before washing my face, it cleanly removes all of my make-up (leaving me with the barest of panda eyes in the morning, I'm not very good at eye make-up removal) and allows me to only wash my face once with my cleanser before going to sleep.

The Garnier Micellar water leaves me with a smooth not quite dewy but definitely hydrated complexion, in contrast to the L'Oreal version which I found quite drying.

I have used this before and after the gym to give me a fresh feeling before catching the bus home, or reviving myself after a day in a stuffy office. It's also great if you haven't showered and need to duck into the shops for something super quickly and want to feel a little more put together.

I just admit I was a little hesitant to try this product as I have seen that a lot of people have reacted to this (getting red puffy eyes etc), but I was kindly gifted some so WHY NOT?! I have been using this in the evenings to wash off my mascara mainly (I squeeze a little onto a cotton ball and press to my closed eye hold for a few seconds then rub off very gently). I really do LOVE how easy the mascara comes off! It is 100x better than scrubbing side to side with a face cloth that feels like sand paper! Later in the evenings tho... I do notice my eyes watering a lot and they are a little sore and sensitive after using this product. It doesn't bother me too much because to me, it doesn't hurt as much as the sandpaper effect that I stated above. Would I reccommend to a friend...? Yes, but with caution, other than that I'm all on board with this Micellar water!

When I first started using this I was delighted to find that it actually did what it said it did and felt as though it was just water taking the make-up off! I wouldn't say that it cleansed my skin and i always use a cleanser afterwards.

If I could choose one products for cleansing, toning etc, this would be it! It made my skin feel clean, fresh and silky smooth. I am not one to jump on the bandwagon just because everyone else is using something, but this was recommended to me by a handful of close friends so I had to try it. I am so glad I did. I love it!!

Garnier Micellar water gently and effectively removes makeup, including gel liner and mascara. It doesn't seem to leave any trace of product behind, so you can reapply makeup if you need to.

If I use it for makeup removal, I do usually do a second cleanse to make sure my skin is completely clean.

Garner Micellar water is inexpensive and a good alternative to makeup wipes.
