Tis not often I rave about a makeup remover but this one is the bees knees. I've tried the micellar water, oil removers, remover balms but nothing has cut the mustard until I discovered this.
The first thing that caught my eye was the white vs the blue in the bottle. I picked up the package and shook it, and like a child I was enthralled with the two colors mixing and separating again. It was on special for maybe $5 so I bought it, and I've continued to repurchase every few months when I run out.
I moisten a cotton pad with this bottled magic and then I place the cotton on my eye for a few seconds before gently wiping the mascara off. I usually do 3 to 4 wipes, flip the pad and do a final wipe and also a wipe under my eyes to get the smudged stuff.
For lips I moisten a cotton pad and just rub it over my lips until no color is left, then I flip it again and do a final wipe. I've not noticed an invasive smell and it's very gentle which makes me happy. I will gladly keep buying this stuff !
Maybelline Make-up Remover Eye & Lip is an oil-free, fragrance free, opthalmologically and dermatologically tested make-up remover that is safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
The duo-phase blue and white liquid easily removes stubborn make-up, including long-wear, waterproof or water-resistant formulas, like Bobbi Brown Gel Liner, Benefit's Push-up Liner and Maybelline's Superstay lipsticks.
Best of all, there's no greasy residue, no stinging and no blurry vision. It's affordable and the conveniently sized 70ml clear plastic bottle has a secure screw top lid which is perfect for travelling, as it doesn't leak or take up too much space, and it's easy to see how much is left in the bottle.
I have repurchased this product many times, and will continue repurchasing, as it's effective, affordable and doesn't leave me with blurry vision like other make-up removers tend to.
Tips: To remove non-transfer, smudge-proof make-up, shake the bottle well and wet a cotton pad. Hold the wet cotton pad against your closed eye (or lips) for 30 seconds to soften the make-up before gently wiping it off. You'll wipe your eyes less often, so there's less chance of tugging at the delicate skin around your eyes. Rinse with warm water once done.
