Great idea

I have received one of these travel towers ages ago in one of my subscription boxes and I find the idea pretty good, just take one stack on holidays and you’re good to go! I had to throw mine out sadly, because I’ve tightened one or 2? of the parts way too hard and no one could open it up and it was driving me crazy. I’ve used most of them up, so I got a great trial of everything evolu has for face care. My absolute favourites were the exfoliator, which wasn’t too harsh and abrasive, had very fine particles in it, made my skin so smooth and the eye cream-gel, so soothing and cooling, felt so nice and luxurious to put on. The night cream was very rich and nourishing, I enjoyed it a lot, as my skin is on the dryer side. The cream cleanser was ok, nothing special though, it didn’t remove all my makeup easily, had to use a micellar water either before or after. The day cream was much lighter and more suitable for normal or combination/oilier skin types, but I could work with it too. Sad I couldn’t reuse this tower because I couldn’t get that one part open again, I totally would’ve filled up the parts again for travelling! Also, everything smelt so nice too, I think there is some added natural scents in it, but not sure.

very handy to have but not for me

I do love the stackable cute travel sized little gadget, the creams come in their own cute travel sized compartments which I think is a great idea, it usually isnt something that I would personally use.

Great Travel Stack Idea

I got mine in a BBBE box last year and have left it specifically to use on my recent overseas holiday. Cute travel size stack that consists of: a creme cleanser, facial exfoliator, eye gel, day cream, overnight cream and hand cream.

Found the cleanser to be average, wasn't my favourite product in this stack. Enjoyed the exfoliator, good consistency of scrubby bits great for my oily skin. Eye gel was cooling. Day cream average. Loved the night cream for hydration and soothing of the skin. Used almost all the hand cream very nourishing.

Overall it's a great idea for travelling. Not stoked with all the products, I definitely had my favourites. I wouldn't repurchase this at that price point. I do plan on keeping the stack to refill with my favourite products once I have finished what is in there.

Evolu travel tower

First impressions are of the practical and cute packaging.

The wee tower of individual pods with each clearly marked product is a fantastic ideal perfect sized for 3-5 day trip (depending on your preferred heavy or light usage of the products) it could easily be refilled and I like that idea, placed in a handbag or toilet bag this undoubtedly will be a very handy product for travelling

. I was however less impressed with the Evolu procucts themselves. Positives - cleanser (and all the products actually) smelled pleasantly botanical and natural and felt light but more negative seemed to sap my skin of moisture. Feels like it was perhaps designed for older or oiler skin?

My favourite is the eye gel and hand cream - both products I would use again.

I so thought absolutely worth a try as the evolu products may suit your skin type. ideal handy practical and cute as little travel kit.

Great idea, but....

Evolu tower comes with 6 skincare products in little pottles that screw together to form a tower, plus one extra lid so you could split the tower up.

I really liked the concept but not so much the products. The product would last a few days but I think you'd be out of the cleanser pretty quickly. I also had a bit of trouble trying to unscrew the right product. If I was the day cream, I keep unscrewing the ones above it. So I found it a bit fiddly.

The Cleanser: Nice, light perfume but I wasn't impressed with the product. It disappeared into my skin before I could wash it off. It didn't take off mascara.

Exfoliator: This was a nice product and did a good job. Nice soft perfume.

Eye Gel: This was quite cooling and very light. Absorbed very quickly.

Day Cream: Nice light perfume, very light moisturiser, would be good for oily skin I think. Not sure why, but when I went to put my mineral foundation over the top of this, it wasn't a nice experience, I don't quite know how to describe it. It felt odd using the brush, my skin almost hurt and the surface of my skin felt very rough. Not a nice base for makeup.

Night Cream: This again had a very pleasant fragrance and was perhaps my favourite product. Nice and creamy.

Hand Cream: Nice light fragrance and easily absorbed cream. Not a rich emollient though.

I love the idea of the tower and yes it will be very handy for small trips away. I will definitely hang on to it but I would probably fill it with other products.

Cute, but not for me

I was drawn in by the cuteness of the tower and in theory it's a great idea (with great products). However, I had two main problems - one was that it was quite difficult to unscrew each layer, and every single time I used it, I struggled with this. The second issue is the size of the pots. They are all the same size, yet I use barely any eye cream compared to the cleanser or day cream, which I always run out of. I would prefer the option of larger and smaller volume layers, depending on most used items.

Cute but not a beaut

I am totally guilty of being drawn in by packaging! And this is super sweet! I was lucky enough to get this in a goodie bag at a fashion show many moons ago. It had all the makings of being a great lil travel set. But then I used everything up making sure is was okay for my skin then looked at getting another and was not going to spend $40.00 on 60ml of product. The pots are the size of little samples. Which if you were going away for more then a few days, would not be enough.

Do not get me wrong I liked the smell and feel of all the products. They left my skin feeling nice and clean, and nourished.

Pros: Packaging, and variety of products that you get to try. Maybe great as a sample to see if you would purchase the full sizes

Cons: Price and Size. Although I love the compactness, I need more cleaner then I do eye cream.

Tips: This would be a great buy for anyone who already uses this routine, and wants little containers to travel with their products.
