I stumbled across this cleanser just recently as I hadn't seen it before - and due to my curious nature when it comes to cosmetics I had to buy it. I usually give my self a good week before making judgement on a product, and now three weeks in I am planning a trip to get some more.
I have found so many cleansers have dried my skin, left it feeling tight and irritated and this one has done the complete opposite. It feels like it is cleansing deep down in the pores and removes all makeup, including waterproof mascara. After a shower my skin feels moisturized and not tight at all.
And the big plus for me is that my skin blemishes have been disappearing one by one. Very happy :)
I have just repurchased this one as I liked my first bottle so much. I initially received a sample of it and have continued using it since last year.
I think what I like so much about this one is that it it's very gentle but still leaves my skin feeling clean. I find a lot of cleansers can leave my face feeling tight and dry afterwards, but I have not had any issues with this one. It has quite a thick gel consistency and lathers up nicely. The pump top bottle is handy for the shower althought the downside of that is that it's normally hard to get to the remaining product at the end of the bottle.
I wasn't sold on the scent initially. The first Essano product I tried was the body lotion (which smells amazing) and I was taken aback at first that they did not have the same fragrance. This one is a lot more delicate and unobtrusive though, and it has grown on me over time.
I have noticed on the odd forgetful occasion that it's not the best at removing heavy eye makeup. I normally use a separate product to remove it before I cleanse anyway, so this is not a dealbreaker for me.
Overall I feel like this is a great product and reasonably priced.
