Neutrogena Pore Refining Exfoliating Cleanser Review

I have large pores and sensitive oily skin.

This cleanser is amazing at reducing pore size, it really does do what it says.

I don't like the scent , to me it has an acidic scent.

It is a little drying. This is why I stopped using it, it did dry my skin out alot. Even tho I have oily skin , it still needs moisture. But I am in my 30's.

I've always been quite worried that you can see my pores, some scrubs just make my pores look bigger, but this cleanser smooths them, buffs them away like no bodies business.

Highly recommend using this if you're in your 20's and have large pores like I do.

The toner is great too although acidic. Just not suited to my aged group skin. The beads aren't sharp. But do polish your skin.

I may give this another go. As I'd really like to get my swimming pool pores under control.

Brought this when it first came out with high expectations. It does feel like it exfoliates well but didn't notice any change in my skin. The bottle is huge and will definitely last for ages. I have since started using a more expensive exfoliater which I feel leaves your skin feeling softer but will keep hold of this one for when my other one runs out.

I used my points to pick up the cleanser and exfoliator from this range in the vault, and had to go out and buy the toner too to really test out the range! Overall I did quite like the products but I didn't notice any kind of change in my pore size or texture so I can't say that they did what was promised. What I liked about this exfoliating cleanser was that it had an awesomely fresh scent and cooling feeling on the skin that really felt like my face was getting such a good clean. It reminds me of a cooling face wash that clearasil used to make - was my favourite in the 2000s so this brought back some nostalgia!

I bought this cleanser and have been using it now for just over a week. I agree with the stinging in the eyes, but I do notice that my skin is smoother and pores are definitely smaller. There is a lot of cream in the bottle so it will go a long way. It's not like some other facial cleansers where they are 'watery' in substance. This one is thicker which means you get more for your money!

First impressions upon using it, I found that it did make my pores smaller and it did a great job exfoliating my face overall. The smell is not too off putting and the size of the cleanser is very generous it will last me a long time! However, for some reason the product manages to get into my eyes EVERYTIME I use it and it stings :( I couldn't use it daily because I found it to be too rough. The pores do go back to their normal size if you stop using the product after a day or two so maybe daily use is the key to maintain the effect! Overall, I wasn't disappointed or overwhelmed, guess I'm back to hunting down the holy grail that will help me with my pore problems :)

I liked this product, but found it quite hard on my skin if I used it every day. It did what it said it would though and my skin felt tighter and smooth.

I found this product to be amazing. I did not notice an instant change. But the more you use it the less dryer my skin was and my pores did become smaller and helped removing any dirt left behind, can't wait to try the rest of the range .

Something is wrong with this product, an ingredient makes my eyes itch. I used it two weeks and I didn't notice any change in my pores. I am disappointed.

After all the excitement of this new product I simply had to try it, and so far I haven't been disappointed.

This cleanser is quite thick, but it's got a small nozzle so easy to manage the amount dispensed. The small isn't great, but its not too offputting. The results are smooth and fresh skin that isn't too dry. I have noticed a small reduction in my pores, but nothing overly obvious. Product rinses off cleanly without leaving residue.

I decided to purchase this cleanser after seeing the good reviews it got on BR. I have to say I have not been disappointed. After a only a few days of using it I could already see the pores on my nose and forehead visibly reduce in size. The consistency is a nice thick cream which goes nicely onto my face and the cleansing bits in it are very small and don't at all feel harsh on my skin. The scent it not very overpowering or girly but all the same it smells nice and I enjoy using it. The cleanser is quite a generous size will last me ages even using it on a daily basis. This is definitely a must have part of my skin are routine now!
