Neutrogena Pore Refining Exfoliating Cleanser Review

This cleanser is amazing!! I haven't bothered buying face wash for a long time, and was amazed by how soft and smooth my face was straight away.

It's a very gentle cleanser, the first time I used it the exfoliating beads were so gentle I wasn't sure if it was doing anything, till i dried my face and felt how smooth it was. So nice at the end of the day, a gentle face massage and beautiful soft skin afterwards :)

I believe it does as it says, my pores have definitely reduced in size. I noticed the difference within a few days, as my pores were quite large. My skin is quite oily, but I've noticed a huge difference. My face isn't as oily by the end of the day, and in the mornings, my makeup goes on smoothly, and looks so flawless, as the fash wash even smooths out rough, uneven patches of your skin.

This cleanser is amazing. I was firstly very impressed with the size of it, it's huge for its $15.99 price tag. It doesn't smell much and has a creamy texture. There are tiny micro beads in it which I felt were very gentle on my skin and not at all scratchy . It says on the back that it is gentle enough to use everyday which is great for a cleanser that has exfoliating properties too. I used it in the shower and when I put my make up on I thought that my skin looked REALLY good, and I mean really good. It had a glow and a radiance that I have been missing for some time. I used it again the next day and lo and behold, radiant skin. Amazing. I have got lots of comments about how well I look lately and the only thing that is different is this product. I am definitely sold on this and I will not be without it. I checked out the back of the tube for any extra important info and I am glad I did because it clearly states that if you use this product you need to wear a sunscreen as your skin may burn more easily. I thought that this was an excellent message for the user. It doesn't lather too much on your skin but it certainly does what it says it will do. I honestly think the last time my skin looked this good was when I had that glow that only comes with pregnancy. I am not joking, I think that this is a brilliant product which I will adding to my skincare arsenal. Thank you beauty review for giving me a product that makes me feel like a million bucks.

I was surprised at the size of the product when it arrived - most cleansers seem to be in small, wide tubes, this one was in a longer thinner tube which actually fitted in both my shower caddy and my hand perfectly (yay!). The tube was easy to open, and squeeze the product from one handed while in the shower - always a good thing. I loved the wee micro beads that were in the cleanser, they were lovely and gentle and left my skin feeling and looking fantastic. I was a little sceptical about the effectiveness of the pore refining but only after a few days I was noticing a difference. My skin was looking clearer and brighter than it has previously, I also noticed that I had less blackheads in the areas where I had experienced larger pores. Unfortunately I also noticed that my skin was feeling a bit tight, so I cut back the use from twice daily to one a day and the tightness went away. Overall loved this product and will definitely keep using it - the shape and size of the bottle is perfect, and it definitely did what it said it would.

A big thumbs up from me, thanks BR and Neutrogena for the full sized product. It's now part of my morning shower routine. I love that you use it daily it has very fine exfoliating particles a pleasant almost chemical scent which isn't strong by the way. Incredibly my pores on my nose and chin which are obvious to me do look less noticeable, my makeup is sitting better on my skin as a result, and I haven't had any break outs after using this for 6 days solid. My slightly sensitive skin gets a little bit pink after use but this disappears within a few minutes. I also love how it exfoliates my dry lips. I will definitely repurchase this, my old Neutrogena face scrub is now at the back of the shelf.

I think that it is watery compared to other exfoliatings I’ve used, but it might be because it is a cleaner as well. Easy to apply, and smells quite nice, a bit sweet, not a strong fragrance. I use it after using the Neutrogena foam cleanser. I only use it with hot water, when having a shower, but when I go out and dry my face, it’s amazing how I don’t have open pores anymore. The package size will last more than a month for me (198ml), for sure, and it also works for the product, although I was expecting something smaller (I might not be using enough hehe but it seems to be working well for me). Price is reasonable if you really find it for $15. My skin now it mist, oily on cheeks, chin and forehead. I would definitely recommend it, as I would any Neutrogena product.

First of all was very surprised at how much cleanser is in the tube ,it will last awhile.thank goodness when you squeeze it it doesn't come pouring out so there is less waste and get a nice amount . I reckon it has the right amount of exfoliant its not to gritty. My skin feels softer and a lot cleaner and because you can use it every day is a great benefit .easy to wash off.I have had no break outs . Has a very pleasant smell . I would get this again thats for sure

With all Neutrogena products, I expect high things, and this didnt fail! To start with I must admit that Neutrogena is one of my "Go to Brands" one I can trust. I liked the packing , simple and clean. Easy to open, use and close in the shower and thats important because we dont want to be wasting product and struggling to close it. I found the product to have the "perfect" amount of micro beads in it, gave me a perfect clean and exfoliate without feeling like I had sand papered my face! I felt it really did the job is said it would. After the first use, my face felt smother and looked clearer, and it only got better!! I even went a few days without wearing a BB cream to work and thats a first! My face felt clean, smooth and looked visibly better, which is a huge thing when you are only a few weeks off 40!! Yes I felt this product dlieverd above and beyond its promises! LOVE IT!

Im happy that i got to review this product because it really did help my skin out and i love trying new face washes. It cleaned deeply and decreased pore size as well as breakouts. I have fairly large pores which shows more with makeup on so i really loved using this product lately. When washing my face it didnt sting my eyes and after rinsing made my sking feel ultra smooth.

I would definately purchase again because i feel it does what it says its ment to do and recently i havent had any problems with my skin while using this product.

The first time I used this I was quite pleased with how fine the grains are and that it doesn't lather too much, which usually puts me off facial cleansers. It has a very mild fragrance. Initially I was using morning and evening but I started to dry my cheeks out so I switched to t zone in the morning and all over in the evening which solved that issue. By day 4 the pores on my nose and chin were visibly clean and day 6 they were barely visible at all. My skin is smooth and soft now which is awesome!

This product is like something our of Mary Poppins - unbelievable.

The tube: 198ml white, elegant, sleek tube. Very little colour, colours that are used are sliver, black and blue - screams elegant not cheap. Easy to use - just a gentle squeeze and it comes out.

The fragrance: Soft and gentle. It is such a gentle smell, not at all over powering. In fact I really like the clean, refreshing and gentle fragrance.

The formula: perfect! You only need a very little, a little goes a long way. A white cream that has very fine exfoliating beads that help to remove the dead skin. It tingled the very first time that I used the product but I have had not reaction or tingling since then! I have used the product morning and night for almost 2 weeks now.

The price: at approximately $16 it is a bargain. I have tried more expensive creams as well as cheaper creams and had no results. Whilst I don't believe you have to buy the most expensive product on the market I do think that sometimes the cheaper products are just that - cheap and not very good for your skin.

The cleanser definitely leaves your skin feeling cleaner and fresher after use. The micro-beads are so gentle. It does not dry your skin out or leave it feeling tight and uncomfortable. I use this both morning and night. I love the results and feel that it has definitely worked on my skin. I have seen a reduction in the appearance of my pores, although it is not obvious at first glance I think I can see a result.

My skin is definitely looking more even and smoother.
