Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion Review

I have dry sensitive skin. And can get eczema break outs. I found that this product is thicker than some of the other ones I have used, so for me is more difficult to apply. It is fast absorbing and I like that it has no added fragrance. I find that it is good during the warmer months, but definitely not enough for me during the winter and when I have my eczema break outs.

Rejoice! A product that is fragrance free that doesn't actually have a smell. As someone with sensitive skin I often go for the fragrance-free variety only to find out why the product has a fragrance - because the underlying scent of the product is naaaasty. Then I smell nasty. Not cool products, not cool.

When I first used this my immediate thought was "why did I wait so long to get on this bandwagon?!". I've been told for years how good this stuff is but for some reason never got around to trying it. So many wasted years.

I adore it now. Aside from being fragrance-free, which is also great because it doesn't compete with perfumes etc, it's a fab moisturiser. It's the perfect texture, thick but not too gluggy, and spreads easily. It absorbs super fast which is perhaps the most important thing I look for in a moisturiser given that I shower right before bed.

Confession time, I'm a bit half hearted with my moisturising so to be fair my skin responds to any attention in that department so I don't feel I can comment on how effective it would be for a religious moisturiser. I found it to be lovely on my skin though and I feel nice and soft and silky - especially after a shave.

I have been using this moisturiser for 2 months now and have been enjoying it. I usually like my moisturisers to be a little bit scented but I actually like this being unscented, I can rely on it to not smell bad when I buy it! This leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and hydrated. I find when I apply it at night that I need to reapply in the morning as my skin feels dry again. The good thing about it though is that you don't need to apply much. The only thing I don't like, and this is real picky, is the pumper. I find the neck too little and sometimes it's hard to pump the product out - would rather buy a tube.

Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion is genuinely one for those who are looking for a 'safe' option. It's non-scented; in fact it's entirely fragrance free, which actually puts me off a little as I like my lotions fragranced.

The packaging indicates a natural product, with green and brown on a soft fawn background. I've had this in sachets, a large pump bottle, and small handbag sized bottles.

The lotion itself is white and creamy. It's a mid-thickness lotion that spreads well. Absorption is reasonably rapid, and there is a slight residue that lasts a moment or so before disappearing into hands. The lotion is non greasy, and I haven't experienced any form of reaction. It's been fine on freshly shaved legs, sunburned arms and already irritated areas (eczema etc).

This product contains colloidal oatmeal, which is soothing and healing. It definitely fulfils both promises. Your skin is left soft and smooth.

For me, with my not-so-sensitive skin, and preference for fragranced lotions, this is a bit unnecessarily gentle and lacks excitement. However, if you have any form of skin need, this could well be ideal, so it woul dbe worth checking out. Similarly, if you prefer your scent to come from perfume and your lotion not to mess with it, this would be ideal. It's a little on the more expensive side for a supermarket product, but the natural ingredients do justify the extra expense.

I love this moisturiser! I have dry and sensitive skin and it is one of the very few products which always gives me beautiful, soft skin.

This product is just so nice to have on your skin. While somewhat unadventurous, this orderliness and residue-less moisturizer works. under makeup, post break out, soothing dry sensitive skin or when you just want to give your skin a rest. i highly recommend Aveeno

I love the Aveeno range, specifically this particular product of theirs, because it is so gentle on my skin whilst giving it the hydration that it needs. I get really dry skin in the winter and it gets so itchy so I need to moisturise regularly in order to prevent this. I find that regularly using the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion helps me to combat this itchiness. There is also no fragrance and the product is from fairly natural origin so it makes me feel better about putting it on my skin.

I like this moisturiser, I have dry skin and it seems to do the job well. It is fragrance free which is great. It absorbs to my skin beautifully leaving it moisturised and smooth

I have used this moisturising lotion and yes it is good my skin is a little sensitive and while this product worked I wasn't totally over the moon about it. I found it a little hard in the colder months to quickly dub It in as it didn't absorb that quickly into the skin. I think that unless you have very sensitive skin there is cheaper options on the market that will moisturise the skin with similar results. A good product for those who need it.

This is a lovely body moisturizer! I have used it for years already. My skin definitely feels hydrated and smooth after each application. I love that it's fragrance free and noncomedogenic as I absolutely cannot stand greasy and heavily (artificially) scented lotions! I used to have dry elbows and knees but using this consistently has solved those areas. Definitely recommend :-)
