L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Day Cream

I noticed a good improvement to my skin after just a week of using this day cream. I am continuing to notice subtle improvements as the weeks goes on.

My skin has become firmer and fine lines have reduced. I am very much enjoying this experience.

I like the texture of the cream and the feel of it once absorbed, there is no residue.

I highly recommend.

I trialled the day cream along with the night and eye cream, in this range. The packaging is simple and un-fussy, which I like. You are buying for the product, not the container. The cream itself is a salmon/peachy colour with the same delicious fragrance as the night cream. Although the cream appears rich, it is even less so than the night cream; once again, easily absorbed and I could apply my make up within a short period. My skin remained hydrated, the entire day, without making my skin oily, which has happened with rich creams; in the past. My skin has definitely been more hydrated, softer and 'plumper'.

I love the no-nonsense of this day cream. A slight pleasant fragrance, not overpowering at all. So easy to apply and don't need to use much, always a bonus. I'm convinced that i have less sag around the neck and jaw line from using this product. My skin feels great.

A while back I bought the eye cream from the L’Oreal Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care range, and I loved it! Therefore, when it was time to buy a new day cream, I looked at the same skincare range for a face cream. I was pleased to find that the L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Day Cream also comes in a version that contains SPF30, which for me is a must in summer in New Zealand! I immediately bought the cream, and discovered during the process that The Chemist Warehouse has amazing deals on L’Oreal products, better than our local supermarkets! The packaging is a standard screw top jar that comes inside a cardboard box, which comes with all the usual instructions. The cream has a nice, thick consistency like the eye cream I used before, but just like the eye cream it is not sticky or greasy and absorbs quickly into the skin. The cream has a pale pink-ish colour which I do not find particularly beautiful, but it does not bother me either. There is a faint, pleasant smell to the cream. While I love the fact that the cream comes with SPF30, I cannot say that I have noticed a skin tightening effect. The reason for buying an Age Perfect product was to address my early signs of ageing, and I do not think the product has delivered in this respect. However, the cream is pleasant to use and not too expensive, so it is definitely worth a try to see if it suits other skin types.

Thi day cream does suit my skin. Fortunately I am not very wrinkled for someone of 70 and this cream certainly goes a long way to tightening the small lines without leaving any residue.. I will keep using it because I have had no adverse side effects at all. We cannot expect miracles though using a good cream like this every day goes a long way to improving and maintaining our complexion as well as we can. It works well under my makeup too which is important for me. I give it a tick and certainly recommend this Day Cream very positively.

This cream comes in a pot , and like the night cream, doesnt have an applicator , so you need to use your fingers or a cotton tip. It smells quite gentle and pleasant, and soaks in really well. I was very surprised at how much i like this product, it delivers moisture very well, and my skin feels lovely and hydrated and my makeup glides on over it. I'm very pleasantly pleased with this moisturiser , and how well it hydrates for the price, i currently use an Estee Lauder one, which is 5 times the price, but i am going to continue using this Loreal one, as it's just as good. I'm a convert. However there is one issue,in that it has exactly the same packaging as the night time creme, except the night one says in small letters night, but the day time one doesnt, its easy to get them mixed up, if they were in different pots it would be easier to tell them apart, or if they had different lids!

I am a little disappointed in this day cream by my favourite skincare brand L’Oreal. Yes, it is designed for the more mature skin but I find it far too heavy for a day cream. It’s not easy to apply and to be honest I can’t find a lot of difference between this and the night cream consistency wise. It also does not contain a SPF which is an absolute must these days. However, once on it seems to do the job okay and my skin feels hydrated all day.

My skin felt refreshed after applying this product and it lasted well throughout the day. I liked that it was quickly absorbed and didn't leave residue on the skin surface. Was also glad to see all the packaging can be recycled and instructions were given for this too.

I was very grateful to be chosen to trial this product, thanks goes to Beauty Review and L'Oreal. I thought the packaging classical as is the jar. The jar is white with a gold lid and is square making it easy to grasp and open, a plus for older not so nimble fingers. L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Re tightening Care Day Cream is ideal for mature skin or skin that has age spots or is sagging I have dry skin and some moisturisers feel too light. When I first tried this one I thought the consistency was quite thick but I soon realised after applying it all over my face and neck that it absorbed well, especially once warmed it spread beautifully.

It left my skin feeling soft and silky. You don't need to use a lot to get a hydrating feeling and I love how hydrating this cream is, it has really helped with my dry skin and the effects last all day long.

It has no overpowering scent so would suit most people. I have noticed a slight lightening of the darker patches on my face however I didn't notice a great deal of difference in my skin given the trial time but it felt good so that's a plus.

L'Oreal is a brand I trust and have used many times so I would recommend this to anyone.
