I tried a little sample size of the CeraVe moisture cream. And I do surprisingly love it now. I understand why people are turning towards cerave. So affordable and the product is really good! Keeps skin feel moisturised and nourished for long periods.

Reviews
I've been waiting for this brand to be finally available in NZ and I got my hands on it months ago which I was extremely excited. People have been raving about this brand for a good reason. This moisturiser is so gentle on the skin. I use it for both my face and body and it just leaves my skin so smooth. It also get rids of the dryness that I use to have. Really worth it.
Tips: A must try product. :)
This is what I use as my last step before heading off to bed, especially on nights that I use my Tretinoin. It locks in moisture and all of my skincare products, absorbs nicely. It's helps to mitigate the dryness and irritation that come with using Tretinoin, and maintain healthy skin-barrier.
Great value for money and goes a long way. It contains hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and petrolatum (to seal the skin and prevent water loss), but can also be mixed with serums like Niacinamide if you want, making it effective and versatile.
Its one of my go-to moisturisers since starting Tretinoin and I recommend it to everyone.
Really good moisturiser, doesn't leave you feeling to greasy and isn't fragranced however does have a slight smell to it which I don't like. Leaves skin feeling soft and supple.
I have been using this product for almost two weeks now, and as someone who suffers from persistent eczema, I have noticed the biggest difference in my skin during this time! I skipped using it for two days and in that time alone noticed dry patches rearing their ugly head again - so was reminded to keep up moisturizing at least 2 x a day.
I love the fact that this product contains Hyaluronic Acid, as the only product I use and swear by on my face is 'The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5'. I have very sensitive and dry skin, so I don't tend to branch out and try new things, as many products can make things worse.
Although I haven't got to test this product at the peak of how bad my eczema can get (in winter when my hands crack & bleed), I can 100% say this product has relieved some of the dryness and itchiness I experience. Seriously, after the first application alone my skin's redness went right down and my hands were SO soft. I showed my partner & sent pictures to my family because I was in actual shock that something could work that quickly!
Although I would say that for people with moderate to severe eczema, this product does not, unfortunately, replace steroid creams, it is something you should definitely consider incorporating into your moisturizing routine. I have been trying to cut down on my reliance on steroid creams which thin and break the skin, so this product enables me to do just that.
I also just love the consistency and the fact that it is fragrance free. I can apply this product to my hands in the car while I'm driving, and there is no stickiness at all right after application! That is something that really grinds my gears, so CeraVe gets the tick of approval from me. :)
I have had eczema my whole life so I'm very familiar with finding rich, hydrating and irritation-free creams to use on my whole body. This CeraVe cream is great, I really like it.
At first, when it arrived in a tube, I wasn't too impressed but I think because I'm used to tubs. However, I now love the tube format and would prefer it over a tub. It doesn't look big but considering I use huge dollops each time, it's lasted a really long time.
The formula is indeed fragrance-free. I'm really sensitive to smells and sometimes, there is a light fragrance. I really enjoy how well it sinks in, but I did take one lippy off as I found it didn't hydrate my skin for as long as I wanted. Worth mentioning that I have super dry skin and it would probably be sufficient for anyone else.
Overall, I really like it. i would prefer all future moisturisers to have a tube if possible. I'd probably repurchase this to use too.
Tips: Apply right after your shower. This helps to restore lost moisture from a shower and prevents that tight, itchy feeling of dry skin. Let absorb before dressing.
I wear a CPAP mask and often have red dry patches around the nose, eyes and jawline. I’ve been using the Hydrating oil Foaming Cleanser and the Moisturising cream day and night for a few months now and my eczema has completely cleared up!. It's great for the body and those extra dry areas, (elbow, hands, ankles feet etc).
Tips: Layer it on the body with a yummy shea body butter and you smell amazing all day. The ingredients are great!
I have multiple tubs of this on hand now because I stock up when it’s on special. It’s not a bad price at all for the quality of ingredients. Super thick and creamy, no strong scent, hydrates my skin and keeps it feeling smooth and supple. It’s good enough quality use on your face. I do not break out when I use this moisturiser and some moisturisers I find do that to me.
I use CeraVe moisturising cream on my body, face, hands and feet after a shower and it makes my skin feel amazing, very soft and non greasy, my skin looks clearer to me after using it consistently for 4 weeks. I've found my holy grail! I'm getting some for my mum!
Great for body and face making CeraVu great value for money. I have tried many moisturisers and have struggled to commit to many, but found this one to be light and very effective for dry skin. Would recommend. Have been using for over 6 months now and still happy!
