I bought this on a whim during a supermarket visit because I realised that I had no moisturiser left at home. I did not put much thought into choosing the right cream other than I wanted something for very dry skin, and at a good price. Now that I have used up the whole bottle I have to say that the Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Restore moisturiser definitely ticks both those boxes. Unlike other body creams that are made for very dry skin, this Vaseline product is not as thick and oily, which is really nice! It has a pleasant texture, and easily absorbs into the skin. Like all moisturisers, it makes the skin immediately look better once applied, and I found that it also kept my skin looking moisturised for the rest of the day. My bottle was a pump bottle, which was easy to use, however, there was a lot of moisturiser left at the bottom of the bottle when the pump stopped working. I wish manufacturers would find better ways to enable consumers to actually get to the full amount of product without having to cut open the container. I would buy it again, if a non-pump bottle was available at my supermarket.
Tips: Cut open the bottle when the pump stops working, there will be lots of moisturiser left at the bottom of the bottle!
