Packaged in a large 330g black screw top tub, the bright electric blue mineral-rich sea salt scrub is packed with goodness, as the sea salt is a natural antiseptic and exfoliant.
Rub Rub Rub can be used in a few different ways; on damp skin for a really gentle scrub, on dry skin for a really good scrub that gets rid of ingrown hairs and dry skin, and you can even use it as a volumising shampoo and scalp scrub.
This salty scrub also contains a dash of lemon juice and the lovely scent of mimosa blossoms, and when it is used on damp skin, or a little water is added after using it on dry skin, it froths slightly to become a delightful shower gel that leaves skin feeling smooth and soft, with a lingering scent that lasts for a while after you've stepped out of the shower.
Being a salt scrub, the consistency does begin to change after the first use, with it becoming thinner and more runny the longer you keep it. Whatever you do, try not to get any water in the tub during use, as this will cause the salt to dissolve a lot quicker. Also, avoid using this scrub on any open wounds, shaving cuts, or freshly waxed skin, as it does sting.
I find it works well to add volume to my naturally fine, limp, oily hair, when a little of the scrub is mixed in with my usual oily hair shampoo.
I'd definitely recommend this scrub, and will be repurchasing it.
I got this scrub in the All the Best Box. I had it on my wishlist and finally managed to get it during Christmas. I love using scrubs to exfoliate my body. I like to this at least once a week.
I got the 45 gram tub . The scrub itself looks like a blue pastey scrub . The scent of this scrub reminds me of lemons and citrus. This scent is lastson me for a few hours.
Application is simple. It's the most gentle scrub I've ever used on my body. I've used a few. The 45 gram lasted me about 4 applications on my body. I definately would buy a large sized pot in the near future. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this was.
