It feels lovely putting it on the shower floor to wash your feet without even trying. Scrub it into your feet to help rid of dry skin. It wakes your toes/feet up in the morning. Makes your skin feel super dooper clean and free of dirt.

I am a big fan of this scrub. The tub is really cute and fits well with all the other Lush products. It is also really easy to use by just taking a little bit and rubbing it softly into the skin. You can feel the product working at sloughing away all the dead skin and leaving skin soft and silky smooth.
The smell is also lovely and lingers on the skin for a decent while afterwards. It does say you can also use it in your hair, but I have not yet been game enough to try this. It is relatively pricey and if you're using it over most of your body it can run out quite fast, but I think it is worth it and I would be keen to repurchase.
Tips: You don't need to use it every time you shower. A couple times a week should suffice.
Rub is a hidden gem type product. It seems like your average exfoliating scrub, but once you've got it lathered up it stands out amongst its competition. There's a lovely scrub element, which becomes like jelly once lathered. The scent is gorgeous and I love that you can use this as shampoo!
Tips: Combine with Ro's Argan Body Conditioner for a wonderful Lush cocktail that cleans and conditions the skin
My Mum gave me the large tub as an Xmas gift and I instantly fell in love with the smell! It's a beautiful bright blue colour that to me smells citrusy and fresh. It feels great rubbed in to wet skin, not too harsh and leaves a nice clean feeling. I find the scent lasts on my skin for a few hours too which is nice. I do find that it stings a little in cuts (I have a cat with sharp claws so this happens often!) but it doesn't last long. My only other downside to it is that even though I try really hard not to get any water in it, is that is has gone quite runny which to me is a bit wasteful as it now runs straight off my skin and down the plug! So now I'm having to turn the shower off while I use this and then rinse after. I would definitely repurchase this product again!
I got this in a Lush Christmas Pack and I was pleasantly surprised.
This scrub is a vivid, bright blue colour, I assume this is to represent the ocean. The scent is quite strong, considering it's a sea salt scrub.
With the product being salt based many would think that it would dry the skin up, however I never had this problem and found it quite moisturising due to the other ingredients in the scrub.
I didn't find the scrub too harsh, which is sometimes needed for a good skin removal. However, it is a nice everyday scrub compared to Frank. Therefor I think it would work very nice with all ages of skin - younger and old..
I find that this scrub does leave a bit of residue on my skin which I am not a fan of. I like scrubs to dig deep and remove all my bad beauty sins and I find that this doesn't quite get in there for me, and I have to really wash myself thoroughly afterwards to remove the film of residue.
This scrub is definitely not painful to use, as some scrubs can be quite hard and harsh, however I never felt discomfort in using the Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub.
The packaging is in an easy typical black Lush pot, which I actually really appreciate as other scrubs typically come in the brown paper bags, which I find are not shower friendly. So this one can stay in there without a hassle as the tub Is very shower friendly ( and stackable !)
Overall, I love this scrub for a everyday scrub but still love my more harsh scrubs for a deep scrub
Now that I am official lush addict (Proud and happy) I have been going on crazy Lush spending sprees and trying as many Lush products as I can. One of the Lush products I am currently using is the Rub Rub Rub Shower scrub in the 100 gram tub.
For a while I have been obsessed with Salty scents, which is a bonus with this shower scrub. I was surprised of the color as I didn't think it would be so vibrant and so, BLUE. Once I got over the color and used it in the shower I was impressed. The small grains of salt give your body a gentle exfoliate which you can use all over your body.
My favorite part of my body I love to use this on is my face, in the winter time my nose gets dry and flaky, when I use this scrub on my face it leaves my skin feeling like a fresh and insanely smooth canvas. My nose has never felt that smooth before, NEVER.
The smell I am still getting use to. It is strong and stays on your skin for hours. I do like the salty smell but its the zesty lemon smell that I am still adjusting to.
I will repurchase in the future but I am only using it as a face scrub now.
This scrub leaves your skin silky and smooth. It buffs away and removes dead skin well. I find this is a gentle exfoliator that's not too harsh on your skin.
The consistency of this scrub is very runny and fluid. I thought it would be thicker like other scrubs I have used. Because of the runny consistency it's quite hard to get out of the tub. If I dip my hand in the scrub will just run right off as soon as I pull It out. I end up having to grab it out with my fingers.
When you rub this on your body it foams up like soap and dissolves on your skin. The colour is a deep electric blue. The smell is minty and fresh.
Overall this is a great body scrub and I would buy this again.
This is the first body scrub that i have tried and I must say it didnt disappoint! After the first time i used it, i noticed that my skin was much smoother and softer and it didnt feel dry or tight at all. I used it on dry skin like it said on the tub but it was a little bit too coarse for my liking, but on wet skin it exfoliated nicely and after the sea salt crystals melted it doubles as a shower gel. However, im not a big fan of the smell so i didnt use it in my hair although the product says you can. But thanks to this, my elbows and knees are finally getting the TLC they needed!
Tips: Use it on dry skin before showering to get a harsher exfoliating scrub, otherwise use it on wet skin!
As someone with keratosis pilaris, exfoliating scrubs are a necessary part of my beauty regime, and i've found some average ones, some good ones, and some great ones. This Lush product falls into the latter category.
My first impressions were good: as with all Lush products, the packaging is eco-friendly (with a recycling incentive scheme), and a sticker tells me which of the Lush team packed it for me. This might be bollocks, but it's a nice personal touch.
The product itself looks lovely, a blue that reminds me of tropical lagoons. And the smell is to match: fresh and invigorating, without being overpowering. Rub Rub Rub is quite gloopy, but the tub makes it easy to scoop out - and its texture is not too oily, unlike a more expensive scrub I usually use which can get a bit messy
I'm advised I could use this wet or dry, and because of the sea salt content, it's also apparently ideal for shampooing (!). Wasn't game enough to try washing my coloured hair with it, but for travel this would obviously be a good multi-purpose product.
I prefer to use scrubs dry, then shower off the residue. Lush Rub Rub Rub was the ideal product for this as it stayed on my skin until the water hit it.
Sea salt is a brilliant exfoliator, so I knew this would be pretty good before I even began. And it was, leaving my skin soft, smooth and delicately scented - perfectly primed for my fake tan which I've just dug out. Look Ma - no streaks!
Best of all, this product retails for less than $20, and will last me a while. Brilliant value for money - and I will definitely be buying again. With a picky customer like me - that says a lot!
Tips: Gentle enough for everyday use if required. Loved using it dry for a really thorough exfoliation.
I used to work for lush so I got to use all of the product (no longer work there) :( this was a product my whole family liked, the scent isn't girly or too masculine. it definitely did polish our skin but it is a little messy to use and you can waste a fair bit of it.
