I got this in the latest beauty box. I'd never used or heard of this particular brand before.
It comes in a generous tub and is a thick white cream (well more like a butter as the name suggests) it smells deliciously of coconut.
Initially it sat on my skin and didn't sink in right away but I think its's just the nature of the product.
It couldn't have come at a better time for me, my skin on my legs is super scaly after being hidden all Winter.
Didn't leave my skin greasy like a number of other body butters i've used.
As soon I saw the box for this I got excited. I like by nature products and I like a nice body butter from time to time.
The packaging is lovely - blue and white with by nature branding. It is a large 250g twist top pot, which is great value for $9.99. I scoop out a big amount each time and apply it to my hands, legs and feet. It is a very thick and creamy product and feels quite luxurious. It is quite slow to absorb, but does leave a nice waxy soft feel to my skin once it has absorbed. The most disappointing aspect for me is that when I saw coconut and ocean minerals, I expected a strong coconut smell that would linger in my skin. The smell isn't strong or coconutty and doesn't linger on my skin sadly. As I love highly scented products, this one is really not for me. For anyone who likes little to no scent in a body butter though, this would be ideal. It won't compete with any other scents you might be wearing. But to it's credit, it does a good job of hydrating skin, and is free of a lot of nasties, so walks the talk in that respect.
A good economical product and seems suitable for sensitive skin, so worth a try if those are your priorities in a body butter.
