Lush Blackberry Bath Bomb Review

Wow, this bath bomb was sure impressive. Super fizzy purple foam, which lasted for quite a long time. The blackberry smell was gorgeous, a sweet and spicy fragrance. My skin felt lovely and soft after a relaxing soak. Would definately use this again or buy as a gift for someone. Well priced value for money, love this product is handmade in NZ.

I 'found' Lush in Canada many years ago and was pleased when they opened here in NZ. I have a few favourite products that I turn to when I want the house smelling divine. With this Blackberry Bath Bomb I left it in front of me on my computer desk for a few days so I could take in the aroma and think about whether it was a smell I liked or maybe not be so keen on. On a Saturday night when I had the evening to myself I decided to run a large hot bath and pop my bath bomb in to enjoy a long soak. The smell was divine and it made my skin feel silky smooth, for hours after my skin still had the gorgeous scent permeating from it. It looks like it has become another favourite.

There were two things I noticed as soon as I took the bomb out of the packaging: the amazing scent and the animal test friendly note on the packaging. Both of these are important selling points for me. The bath bomb made the whole bathroom smell heavenly before it even went into the bath. And the smell for me was very relaxing. It dissolved very quickly and left no grainy remains in the bath. The water became soft and almost creamy. I felt the moisture difference in my skin when drying with the towel, almost as if I had rubbed baby oil over my body, it was silky soft.

Blackberry bath bomb - in other words pure unadulterated sensual heaven.

Fantastic after a long stressful day, lovely fragrance, skin feels smooth and luxurious.

This was the best bath I have ever had.

I found these balls to be quite costly but if you only use half at a time, you get more use out of the bomb :)

This bath Balistic is a personal favourite of mine. The sweet, fruity scent is heavenly and lingers in the bath and on the skin long after you've dried off. The size is large enough that you can use it in two halves and get more value for money and still get the divine purple coloured bath water. Pure Bliss!

A blue dusky grey coloured mandarin sized ball of total heaven, has bomb written on it. And the scent spicy olibanum and musk, bergamot and spice and blackberries the scent is divine. So I pop it in my bath and this bath bomb goes go crazy and it twists and turns and sort of blows up and leaves a trail of purple foam and a little bit of paper that says boom don't know what happened to it, it just went away possibly sucked up the pipes of the spa bath I must admit that was cute, the water goes a lilac colour (I have a massive bath) and the water and my bathroom both smell divine, and I sink into total luxury, and when I get out and I am all dry I also smell so nice. This caused no irritation and I felt nearly a little moisturised and the water was really nice and soft. So just a nice swirl of colour with a fragrance that has become a favourite of mine, this is one I reach for in desperation for a treat for my senses. I use the whole thing no saving it I just relish in the whole experience. As I love a treat once a week in the bath with all the luxuries this is up there on the must haves.

Lush is one of my favourite stores and I tried this bath bomb a few weeks ago after talking to the girls at lush about something I help me sleep and reduce stress as my life can be quite hectic and it's hard to turn off my mind at night time. I found this bath bomb to not only smell amazing but relaxed me a lot and I noticed quite a difference when I went to bed that night, was able to drift off to sleep easily and felt great the next day. I also love that this didn't dry out my skin especially when I'm probe to eczema. Would definitely recommend of your stressed or just want to wind down.
