Luxury is right

I got seriously addicted to this bath bomb when it came out in the Mid winter Christmas release, And now it's back I'm addicted again. The presentation of this bath bomb would almost be my favourite out of all lush bath bombs, half white and half bright pink, with big polka dots all over and a small Christmas Holly decoration on top.

If the look of the bath bomb wasn't enough already the scent of this beauty knocks socks off. It is a lot like Lush's twilight bath bomb but the scent is a lot more intense, So when I want a relaxing bath this almost puts me in a coma. The scent is very lavender and ylang ylang it fills the whole bathroom with the relaxing and calming scent.

As it fizzes and bubbles around the bath it foams bright pink, blue and a splash of green and yellow. It turns the bath a very pale shade of pink, the polka dots float to the surface and eventually I get sick of the soggy slimy looking pieces and take them out.

This is my go to bath bomb when I'm feeling stressed and need to calm the farm. The scent lingers on my skin for an hour and then I'm usually in la la land. Love love love lush pud!

Not your average pud =)

I love a good lush bath and this one didn’t fail to excite and entertain me. Think that this was a limited seasonal release but I have had it tucked away in my bath bomb box (that is right I have a hatbox full of bath bombs lol) which I used a few weeks ago.

Packaging as with Lush’s products there is no such thing as all are wrapped upon purchase and have no official packaging to say of.

This fat ball of delight caught me by sniff not sight as I purchased it while in Christchurch, well I purchased 2 and used one while staying there and the other went into the box for a later date. It has a strong vanilla and lavender scent that is a little bit sherbet and reminds me a lot of my all-time favourite Lush product Twilight. Two toned with a pink purple bottom and a white snowy top, studded with a holly arrange and discs of multiple coloured spots around it’s middle it is a bright and fun bomb. Once this bad boy hits the water filled bath though it is another level of enjoyment, as it dances around the water spiralling from the fizz erupting from it, ejecting out streams of inky blue, and neon oranges, then hot pink and vivid green. Turning the water into a mirage of rainbow shades, as the bomb breaks down those discs act like individual bombs and several of them interact with each other as they are propelled around by the power of the fizz. It is quite hard to actually get into the bath as the artwork they create is so pretty and serene.

Once every bit has played its part and settled down the colour slowly merges into a deep pink the longer you stay in the bath. If you are like me that is a while especially when the scent is heighten by being exploded around in the water. It’s very heady but relaxing and helps you unwind. Added bonus of Lush bath bombs and which is the case with this lush pud is that once out of the water your skin feels soften and silky. This bomb never left a film of colour sludge around the tub either which has happened with the occasionally bath bomb.

Beautiful colours with hidden surprise

In my endeavours to become a Lush addict I purchased this bath ballistic along with maybe the rest of the product range heehee, I collected three of these in my quest (oops).

I could smell this through the wrapper and it was enticing with it's sweet lavender and ylang ylang (smelt more like lavender and sweet vanilla). The first impressions of a half pink half white sphere with multi-coloured discs embedded all around it was interesting to say the least. the small holly decoration had me intrigued on whether it would dissolve of hang around (it hung around and had no desire to vanish in the bath water and sunk immediately).

The white fizzed off very quickly releasing it' captive colourful discs as the pink continued to fizz around the bath in a vibrant display that left me entranced. The thing I wasn't aware of with this bath bomb is that inside is a whole mountain of shimmer (Oh Yes... I was covered... the bath was covered... my sheets ended up covered). This silver shimmery dust was swirling through the beautiful pink foamy water and settling on me in a way that would make you want to party afterwards.

I thought I would skip moisturising afterwards as other Lush bombs had left me feeling moisturised but this one is actually quite a dry bomb and my skin looked parched after a short while out of the bath.

The only Christmas pudding I like!

I bought this in the mid winter sale Lush does, simply because it was limited edition and I'd never tried their Christmas range. I used it just recently and I am blown away, it could very well be my favorite bath bomb that Lush make.

The ball is quite large, it fits in my hand nicely and has a bit of weight of to it as the bigger bath bombs do. The bottom half is pink, the top half is white and there are splotches of color around the bomb. The white reminds me a bit of icing on a cake, and on the very top is a little mistletoe decoration which melts in the water. This shares its scent with the infamous Twilight bomb Lush make, and the smell is gorgeous. It's lavender scented, which is super calming and nice!

The discs dissolved first and then the pink bottom and white top, turning the water very colorful for a minute. It not so delicately flipped over and began fizzing violently, and I was greeted with blues, oranges, greens and yellows that now joined the hot pink from the bottom of the bomb, and it looked like a gorgeous artistic rainbow. I didn't want to move out of fear of messing up the beautiful colors.

After the bomb dispersed and all the color was gone, I was left with a hot pink colored water which was full of silver lustre, and let me tell you, it was amazing!! I love the lustre the most when it's in colored water, you can see it so clearly and it looks like galaxies floating around the tub. As always, the bomb has made my skin deliciously soft and silky smooth and well, I'm not disappointed anymore. I'll definitely be buying this come mid winter Christmas!

Luxury Lush Bath

I love, love, love Lush!

This bath bomb is the same size as the majority of Lush bath bombs, and is white and pink with a mistletoe (I think..?) leaf on the top. it has a few circle colours on the outside of the dome too, and is actually really pretty. I am pretty sure it shares the twilight scent but I will have to double check.

When this bath bomb hits the water, it puts on a show and I love it. I don't want to spend $8 on a bath bomb for nothing to happen so I love this bath bomb because it lights up the water with pops of bright colours before settling down and making the bath a beautiful, shimmery pink colour. So pretty.

I love the smell of this bath bomb as well, and I think it could be one of my favourite scents from the Lush range. It fills the bathroom up with this slightly sweet, lush smell and it smells so good.

The bath bomb is so easy to clean up afterwards, and the bath just needs a quick rinse to be cleaned. It leaves your skin covered in a gentle shimmer and leaves you and the bathroom smelling delicious.

I am a huge fan.

Who knew I could like lavender so much!

I am normally not a huge fan of lavender but I was given this as a xmas gift in 2016 so had to try it. It is seriously a purdy sight for the eyes. It is half hot pink and half white with coloured dots in it and a holly and berry to top it off. I love the name of the bath bomb it set your mind to xmas mode almost. Without it being used in the water it smells strongly of a sweet and spicy lavender. It is very true to the Twilight shower gel that Lush has.

When I plop it in the bath the white and pink fizz together at first then the colourful polka dots make themselves known by releasing their yellows, greens and blues. About 10 seconds in to the show the bomb flips over and an erruption of colour takes hold of the bath creating a beautiful water painting of pinks, greens, blues and yellows mixed with glittery goodness. It is a sight to behold definitely! The smell of lavender fills the space and actually makes my harsh opinions of lavender falter. I love the smell of this despite my fear of the scent.

Once the water has settled and I swished around in it, the water is a barbie pink with swirls of luster throughout. It really is a treat just before bedtime. It has a calming effect on the body which I assume is the lavender. It doesn't disappoint. My skin is smooth and velvety to the touch and smells lovely. I am converted, at least when it comes to this bath bomb!

Tips: The bath is left with the luster but a quick scrub or wipe gets it off.

Soo cute

I love this bath bomb!! It looks super cute with all the spots and details one of my favourites to use around Christmas and the scent it really good, a bit like lavender. The watching this bathbomb fizz away was very entertaining, all sorts of colours fizz out of it. Very good sized bathbomb too
