A BR lovely gifted me a pot of this when she decided it wasn't her thing. This is a nostalgia item for me as it's based on an original Cosmetics to Go product (the company that preceded Lush) It isn't sweet like it's name suggests. Instead of being based on the confectionery, it's supposed to smell more like a Turkish bath or hammam. It's is a much headier fragrance than Lush's usual rose offerings and has a muskiness to it. Combined with jasmine, this gives it a really exotic fragrance. This is my favourite thing about this product.
I apply this thick soapy cream in the shower with a sponge and then rinse off. You only want to apply a small amount at a time otherwise more ends up on the shower floor than on your body. It has a slight lather to it. I don't apply body lotion afterwards. It does leave my skin soft but I feel like I want to top the hydration up on my legs.
I would use this again but Lush have discontinued it in this format. It is now a 'roulade' which is a solid version that I'm not so keen on. This is also due to be discontinued. I'm just hoping this means Lush bring this back in this format as I love all the original CTG products.
The Turkish Delight scent smells like roses. The shower smoothie is a very pale pink colour and the texture is like a dense whipped cream.I used the 50 gram pot and i only got 5 uses out of it. How did my skin feel afterwards? It left my skin feeling soft
Tips: Put the shower smoothie into your palm and dont let the water get onto it because it will melt and wash away
