Oasis Beauty Super Tan Review

Well I'm not a big self tanner, but I do know what is good in a self tan and what is not. I was very impressed with this product. When used with the mit it was very easy to apply. There was no noticeable scent for me, which I like, a lot of self tans I have used in the past have had an unpleasant smell to them.

Once the colour had developed, I was really impressed. It was a really nice subtle shade, with no orangey tinge (always good!) and I managed to apply it without getting streaks or uneven patches, so I'll definitely be using this again!

I loved the presentation of this product. A white tube ( no Box) and accompanied by a black applicator mit in a clear cellophane wrap with a bright orange ribbon around. Made in NZ and has vitata E, Calendula and jobaba so I felt really positive regarding the contents. It is made for sensitive skin and with my skin this is a plus. I was happy it didn'e have that awerful fake tan smell and was reasonably pleasant to use. I exfoliated my legs as per usual and applyed with the glove. I found the glove really good and felt I got a good coverage.This is a gradual tanner so I wasn't expecting too much however next day I noticed my legs looked really good with a nice light tan -no streaks. I always use a fake tan on my legs at the beginning of summer and in autumn to top up the fading colour and this is definately the best I have used .It is not cheap but with 150 mls it is a decent size container for your buck.

I was impressed with Oasis supertan. I have very fair skin and after one application the colour was soft but noticeable, after 2 applications a lovely natural light tan. I don't like to go too dark since the rest of me is so white. I found the formula quite thick so you had to use the mitt and be thorough to make sure you get even cover but with it's tinted formula you can see where applied. I haven't had any streaking, and it dries quickly so no staining.

I do have a tendency to react to self-tans, especially behind the knees, but not with this one. And a reasonable price for a quality self-tan.

I am relatively new to self tanning so I was quite apprehensive when I tried this. I had a plan to wear long pants if it didnt go so well, or shorts if I was happy. I am happy to say, I wore the shorts!

I knew enough to exfoliate before applying, so after that I grabbed the mitt that was included and away Iwent.

The fragrance was not reminiscent of other self tans I have smelt, which is good because a lot of them were quite high in chemical smells. I put a decent amount onto the mitt and started with my lower legs. I was very aware og being careful around my ankles and knees as I know these are danger points for self tans!

I felt the cream was easy to apply, it went on nicely and evenly. It was of a colour that I could see where I have been so the result was a nice even coverage.

I washed my hands, they were not really affected because of the mitt, just being careful. I also washed the mitt, ready for the next time I use this, and I will as I loved the result.

The way this product came was lovely. It was wrapped in cellophane with the tube and mitt together, finished with a stunning orange ribbon to tie it all up with.

I will continue to use this and will buy again. No baddies and New Zealand made.

It is easy to apply, with or without the mitt that comes with it. The product is easy to spread over the body (I used it on my legs) and it also has a very mild, unobtrusive scent.

Although the formula looks very dark in the tube, it goes on much, much lighter, which is great for a very pale person like me. The end result was a very natural looking slight tan on my legs.

The product also stays on well. It dries quickly. It does not completely wash off in the shower, which allows you to build the colour up over several days if you want to achieve a darker shade.

It is also a less drying formula than other self tans I have used. Some dry my skin out, which is bad when you have sensitive, dry skin like I do. But this one left my skin in good condition.

While this was one of the first products from the BEBB I tried & loved, foe some strange reason it is one of the last to be reviewed by me?

Seriously it is fabulous!! I have tried several self tanning products in the past, and so am equipped with the golden rules of self tanning - exfoliating mitt, and gloves. Firstly the smell - there is one, but it is nothing like other horrible chemical tanners have, in fact it is almost pleasant. The colour looks darker than you might think would be good, however I use about a 50c size amount on my lower leg and found this to be a good amount to rub in and around. (after exfoliating of course). After applying I use the buffer side of my mitt to take off any excess, and then a short time later they are dry and ready to go. The buildup can be slight - after 5 days I found I had good colour, and if I was more persistent (which will probably happen closer to Summer) I will then just apply every second or third day to maintain the colour.

A dear friend of mine got me this for a gift. It came with a buff applicator thing. The product is in a tube. It comes out very thick and a tinted brown colour.

I have used other brands of gradual tan for years. So I thought I was a expert. I exfoliated well first in the shower. Then applied the product direct to my legs. I loved that you can see where you have covered. It makes you look you have a light tan immediately. This is where I went wrong. Presently I am very white. I was in the mindset of others I have used, that you can slap it on and get a slight glow. Well this gives a delightful tropical holiday tan. I am talking white to golden brown, like I have had months tanning. The other thing that I am surprised about is this stays. Others fade after a few days. This is still the same dark colour even though I have been scrubbing and exfoliating everyday. I'm doing this to try and get rid of the tan as my application is not very tidy. I don't want to apply another coat as it would look noticeable due to now heading into winter.

You don't get the fake tan fragrance. Nothing at all. In fact is smells lovely. It makes skin feel moisturised and soft. I am looking forward to continuing to use this and using a little light handed. Two other brand I have used has left itchy bumps on my skin. No reaction to this at all

Thanks to one of my fellow BR friends for the awesome review, which led me to buy this fantastic product. Im such a fan of tanning solutions, ive come across some amazing ones, this one being on of them. The product came with a mitt. It applied easily and was non streaky, Loved my end results.

The sleek white tube stuck out to me when this arrived in my NZ Brands Best beauty box ever, an added bonus was it came with an application mitt and normally you need to purchase these separately when you buy tanning lotion.

First I exfoliated my skin all over before applying the tanner. The formula of this is like whipped cream, its thick like cream but also light, it reminds me of caramel (delicious) It has a light tanning scent which impressed me, I dont like the fake tanning smell so this was a big plus for me.

Using the glove I applied a dollop of tanner onto the middle and with circular motions I rubbed it in. I was amazed when I first applied this how quickly and smoothly it absorbed into my skin. It was also an instant change in colour on my skin. I found if I put too much cream onto my mitt it was harder to rub into my skin, its easier to use a small amount and apply more a little bit at a time. I wait for the first layer to dry and then I add a second layer. A fan made drying time a lot more easier and using a full length mirror to make sure you get every inch of your body.

Towards the end of the day the tan darkens but after you shower it takes that darkness away . I like the idea that each day you can apply more to build up the colour, on the second day I applied another layer and it was a perfect shade for me. When applying this there was no streaks on either days which impressed me.

Over the past few days my tan has slowly lightened and its been gradual, I love the shade it gives me, its like a caramel tan with no orange to it and it is very hydrating on my skin.

I would highly recommend this tanner, I will be repurchasing this again.

I had a full body professional spray tan before I headed off on my holiday overseas on a Cruise but wanted something to prolong my tan as I was told it would wear off very quickly after swimming well this little beauty came up trumps for me and did exactly that.The formula is perfect,non drip and easy to apply plus it dries super fast so you can dress straight away without any waiting.After my Spray tan had completely worn off, and this was not a pretty sight, I started using this product straight away and had a lovely natural golden glow which did not look streaky or patchy just very even after only two days of use.I purchased mine online from Healthpost NZ and paid around $30 which is a bit expensive but you only need a small amount each day to build up your desired colour and to maintain your tan.This is now my holy grail tanning product and I will be stocking up for next Summer.
