I bought this off a beautiful BR member as I wasn't doing a Lush order any time soon and she was selling it for cheap. It arrived after a small hiccup with the postman and away I went with a smile on my face.
I had read on a blog that it smelled like sunshine in a bottle, and it's not wrong, but it's not entirely right either. The smell is quite different to anything I have and I don't always smell sunshine but I always smell beautiful! I know it has peach and apricot inside this delicious concoction but it seems more earthy or slightly floral. Maybe sweet and bitter at the same time.
What I like most about this is the fact that it looks like sunshine in a bottle. It's a deliciously bright yellow and strewn throughout it glitter. Just looking at the glorious thick yellow gloop cheers me up, even if I can't place my finger on the smell.
I don't think I would repurchase this, but it is a really nice shower gel. If you're into fruity scents you'll probably like this!
The Lush Beautiful Shower Gel is fresh, energising, and a great way to wake up in the shower! It comes in the typical clear Lush bottles, and is a gorgeous golden-yellow colour. It's not as creamy as their shower cream range, but isn't too runny. It lathers up super well on a loofah or sponge, and smells like sunshine! Honestly, though. Sunshine, citrus, and general tropical goodness. If vitamin D had a fragrance it would be the Lush Beautiful Shower Gel. It doesn't linger on the skin, however, so if you don't like to smell like Lush all day (don't know why you wouldn't, but whatever) then this would be perfect.
Not to mention by purchasing this shower gel you're also supporting the most amazing causes - handmade products, recycling, cruelty-free beauty, fair trade. Yes please!
Overall I do think I prefer their more calming, relaxing Twilight shower gel, because I shower at night time. But if you're a morning person I would absolutely recommend this product! So lovely.
