This was once a household favourite loved by all for helping soothe skin conditions such as dry skin and I used to use it as multi-purpose items for cuticles and lips when they were extremely dry.
This orange oil has a multitude of uses and works well with existing skin conditions such as my eczema and extreme dryness. Applies easily from the plastic bottle and sinks into the skin quickly so you are not left tacky and sticky.
Over the years though I have found other forms of treatment such as paw paw cream which is far more on the go useable than a fluid liquid and have converted over to them.
I have used this product many times over the years but never appreciated it quite so much as I did during my pregnancy. My belly grew enormous very early on and was incredibly itchy from around 5 months. The Bio Oil helped dramatically with the skins elasticity and calmed the itch, although I found it a little too oily to use right before bed. I made it all the way to 9 months without a single stretch mark however my little one was 3 weeks overdue and stretch marks appeared in the last 10 days around the bottom of my belly. I have consequently been using for 6 months post birth and have seen a dramatic reduction of pink colouration along my c-section scar and the stretch marks. I find it a little too heavy to use on my face however on my belly it has been remarkable. If used on my chest on a daily basis I find small spots appear so only use occasionally on the rest of my body. It has a lovely clean and appealing scent.
Tips: Put a squirt or two in the bath before you get in or apply over body whilst wet when getting out the bath and pat dry. Let oil absorb before dressing to avoid oil marks on clothes.
