Garnier Organics Lavandin Anti-Age Eye Care Reviews

I use an eye cream twice a day and purchased this one from Countdown. Generously sized at 15ml, it is a white cream with the typical texture and consistency of a typical eye cream. Unusually, it has a scent which is lavender-ish. This product just didn't cut it for me. I found that the scent was irritating for my eyes and the cream itself did nothing for the skin around my eyes. It might be suitable for someone just starting to use eye cream, but for my half century old peepers, it's a solid no.

I don’t like heavy eye creams so it was a lovely surprise to find this nice and light! The other products are heavily scented and I was worried this would be too which I wasn’t so keen on in an eye cream, fortunately not the case and the scent is quite subtle.

The cream is nice and soothing, lovely to use. The tube is very user friendly and pretty enough, although not overly high quality, I do prefer the tube over a pot!

The only reason I haven’t scored this higher is because I didn’t see ‘results as such’, I wouldnt say my eye area was smoother but it was lovely and soothing to use!

I've never really been an eye cream user. I've always been sceptical they do anything different to face creams. But I was happy to give this one a go. The product comes in a small tube and is easy to get out and to use. It's a very silky, smooth cream that has a subtle but pleasant scent of lavender. It works well with the day cream and oil, is not greasy or gluggy and felt nice to use. In just one week I haven't noticed it's made any difference but I'll keep using it to see how it goes.

Firstly I’m blown away Garnier have come out with a vegan range of skin care they seem to be moving with the times. This eye care cream is really hydrating and doesn’t dry too quickly like some under eye cream which fast absorb. The lavender scent is nice and calming and I think the thing I like the most is it sits nice on top of a serum and when out foundation and concealer on it doesn’t crease.

I was given this eye cream for mothers day but technically i bought it myself so..yknow.

Tube is an awesome size and shape and i like the little nozzle as it means i dont squeeze too much out.

Very drying on its own (is that how it tightens the face? Hahaahah) but with the rest of my routine its a really nice addition.

To be honest i didnt think there was much difference but rubbing my eyes now the skin underneath is definitely a lot softer and smoother.

Scent wise its definitely not overpowering, i barely smell anything! It also hasn't made me break out near my eyes so, stoked! I'll probably repurchase this!

I haven't seen any impact from using the cream so far, so difficult to recommend. However I have found the cream easy to apply due to the thin tip of the tube. Not much product required so I imagine it will last a while. I'm not usually a fan of lavender, but the smell is very subtle. I am looking forward to noticing some improvements in the skin around the eye as I continue using the eye cream

I was sent the Garnier Organics Lavandin Anti-Age Eye Cream following a Beauty Vault Haul when I'd ordered the Garnier Organics Lavandin Anti-Age Day Cream but am guessing stock of that product had run out. I typically use more expensive eye creams and I didn't feel wowed or swayed to change that habit by this one. Yes it's moisturising and non-greasy, but whether it's adding brightness or bring any real anti-aging benefits to the table I'm unsure. But I definitely appreciate the fact it's vegan, at a fair price point and suitable for sensitive skin.

I had run out of eye cream and this was amazingly cheap at countdown so I grabbed some of this to try and also to hopefully tie me over until I could buy my usual.

It was an ok product to use in the meantime.. I wouldn’t say it is very effective as it isn’t. I usually find with products like this they are very gentle and mild, I have no allergic reactions but also that the effects aren’t long lived or noticeable.

It’s probably too mild for my skin type or I am in that next age group that just needs something a wee bit stronger. I think this would be perfect and very affordable for someone in their 20s. But for me I just need something that has a bit more smoothing and filling power.

If anything it was probably only good at moisturising briefly but I didn’t notice any smoothing or plumping sadly.

I wasn’t too keen on the scent either but given the price and ingredients if your looking for something to start your eye skin care routine, if you don’t have the deepest set wrinkles yet and you want something without harsh ingredients this is a good bet for you.
