Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation Review

Great foundation for people with yellow undertone, I had been searching for a good foundation for a long time. Its very smooth to apply and doesnt need any powder to set it, Its very natural and you can layer it on if your wanting more coverage, this is what I use when I run my errands

I have fallen in love with Rimmel products and I think this foundation is one of the best. It looks really natural on the skin and gives a beautiful glow. You can use without powder for a lovely glow, or use a powder to set it and it still looks gorgeous. This would be a medium coverage foundation overall but can be layered up as well for a fuller coverage.

I have been using this foundation for over a year and do not think I could live without it! It does definitely have a bit of shimmer which is noticeable mostly in bright light. Because of this, matte foundation lovers may not like this! The shimmer definitely helps you look 'more awake' and it has a good light-medium coverage and does not feel thick on your face. I also found the colour range really good - I am able to find a colour that matches me both in summer and in winter! The best thing is that this foundation definitely won't break the bank and is great quality if you are looking for a low-end foundation :)

This was the first liquid foundation I tried, and it was pretty good. Application was smooth and easy and it didn't weigh down my skin- it was pretty light. I would definitely use it again. Only thing is that, there is a bit of shimmer in it- which is great if you like that sort of thing, but not so great if ya don't.

I got this foundation as I wanted something lighter than Revlon Colorstay.So I picked this up from Farmers on sale for $25(usually $28)

Now the first thing you need to know is it has subtle shimmer you can see through the bottle, but once on your face it gives you a nice luminous glow.

I wouldn't reccomend this for oily skin as I felt my nose was a touch oily towards the end of the day(and I have super dry skin) but it did wear nicely and with some blotting and a touch of pressed powder nose later in the day and it was back to looking gorgeous.

It did leave my fatigued looking skin more awake and while it is not the longest lasting foundation it worked well.

The best part is I didnt feel that it "grabbed" the dry patches of my face like some other foundations do.

I loved this foundation (sadly have run out), made me look really awake and had (with concealer) just the right amount of coverage. Did what it said it would ,will definitely be repurchasing! :)

I loved this foundation, was very brightening and did make my skin look healthier and more glowy. I found applying this with a stippling brush gave me the best finish as it was a bit more full coverage than if I applied it with a flat top brush or a buffing brush. Did not feel heavy at all, but did take a while to set on the skin so I felt I had to set it with a powder otherwise it would move around because it was so lightweight. I didn't really notice any sparkle or pieces of glitter but it did make my skin luminous so I did like that. This would probably have better staying power on drier skin because when I was using this my skin was quite oily so it didn't work as well, but now I have gone back to using it occasionally and my skin is more normal now, it is working a lot better.

This is a perfect foundation to wear if your a bit run down or to hide the under eye bags after a ruff night :) I find it to be medium coverage on me with a glow/illuminating effect which is great to looked refreshed. The bottle is super cute and stands out on the self, very durable as well. I paid $20 at the warehouse on special and id happily buy it again.

I really do like the texture of this foundation and found it easy to apply and it blends well. Inside it looked great, but I noticed as soon as I stepped into sunlight I was very shimmery looking - felt a bit like Edward from twilight haha! It definitely has a very noticeable shimmer through it. I think it would probably be great for winter time for an extra glow to your skin, but for me it isn't great summer time wear as I feel that the shimmer is a bit much for me.

I have oily skin and unfortunately this foundation didn't work for me. I really liked the smell of this and it helped to wake you up like it said it would. I found it also had good coverage and the shimmer is just right. It makes your skin look glowy without it being too much.

However, this made my face oilier after 2 hours. My face was like an oil slick and it wouldn't last long on my skin either. I wanted to like it but my skin disagreed.

I gave it to my sister instead who has dry-normal skin and she really liked it. I do like the concealer of this range but this foundation wasn't for me.
