Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation Review

This is one of my favourite foundations. I looks very skin like when applied but gives a nice dewy finish also. Just love it. It blends into the skin so well and gives a medium coverage. Stays looking fantastic all day too. Definitely try this one out!

I found this far to shimmery for me, it offered a medium coverage and looked nice but as soon as it caught the light I'd cringe as it looked like I'd been sprinkled with glitter. Saying that my younger sister loves it and it looks great on her, I do see shimmer on her but I'm guessing since she's younger she can pull it off! It's a real shame as I love the matching concealer.

I'm not currently using this foundation but I was until had a dry spell in Kmart and the Warehouse and ran out of my color! I will be purchasing this again for sure!! It is as many people say, a little shimmery and I can understand how some people who prefer a more matte finish wouldn't be too thrilled with it. I love a dewy finish and this foundation knocks it on the head! It's a medium coverage foundation but I found it can be easy to build up. It also photographs really well, brings a lot of beautiful light to your features.

I have found though, that in winter when I am at my palest the lightest color is a little orange for me and requires a LOT of blending. It really does make you look like you're glowing though and than gets a 5/5 from me!

I love this foundation. For a drugstore price it offers great coverage, lovely finish, nice texture and a glowy dewy look which I really love. Smells fresh too. The shimmer is there but isn't too much - probably notice it more in summer with the sun, but I don't mind that. Easy to apply - the pump allows you to apply less than a full pump unlike other brands where the pump is so stiff you end up getting a full pump whether you like it or not. Makeup in general does not last well on my skin, but with primer this will last a full 8 hour work day.

I have quite dry skin and found that this foundation gave me a luminous glow that I can not achieve with out copious amounts of highlighter. I think the coverage is great and the ability to build this from a medium coverage to a fuller one is also really helpful. The shade selection is great and i have had no problem with flash back due to the added SPF in the product.

This was the first ever foundation I had ever tried due to recommendations from a friend who was in beauty school and I must say, I was not left disappointed. It gave my skin some glow with the very tiny tiny specs of sparkle. I have dry skin and I was worried that my skin would react to this but it didn't. The consistency is light, coverage is buildable without looking cakey. Love this foundation

This is one of my favourite foundations, ever! I've been on the look out for a good foundation for a while now, I tried a few high end brands, and a few low end brands, and this is one of the stand out ones for me! Its a light-medium coverage, which is what I am after as I don't like foundations which are too heavy! Its easy to apply, and feels extremely soft on the skin! I was also really impressed with the colours, I always find it hard to find a colour to match my skin & the one i chose (true ivory) is like a perfect match!

I also really like the packaging, its a glass container, but has a pump which is a big thumbs up from me, as it means you won't any product!

I found about this product when watching Zoella on Youtube. Being a viewer I had to have it! I asked for it for my 18th birthday actually and Mum got it for me. Unfortunately it was to dark for my winter skin so I made it work but eventually bought one as close to my skin tone as possible.

This product is super affordable for what it is. Farmers are always well stocked with this product as well as Kmart. A down side is they don't carry to many colours and they can be quite orange on some skin tones. I didn't have this problem though since both of them matched my skin tone when pale/tanned.

It comes in sturdy glass tube with a orange shimmery lid. Because it's glass it's see through which is super handy when trying to colour match to the right one since you can see the product instead of trying to guess. It also has a pump so you don't waste much product.

I would say this is a light to medium coverage which is perfect for the days your doing errands and want a no make up make up look. I don't typically wear this out to special occasions etc but if I'm popping out this is definitely the one I pick up. My favourite bit is the shimmer in it that makes you look super awake and bright so is also good for the nights you haven't had much sleep! Also don't be intimidated by the shimmer, it's a lot finer than you would think and it definitely does not light your face up like a disco ball or anything.

I find the foundation doesn't last all day but does last a few hours set with powder, which is fine. As I said it's usually what I'd wear to run errands so the last-ability isn't a huge issue for me. I really do love this foundation and is definitely a staple in my beauty collection.

I got this foundation as I wanted something lighter than Revlon Colorstay.So I picked this up from Farmers on sale for $25(usually $28)

Now the first thing you need to know is it has subtle shimmer you can see through the bottle, but once on your face it gives you a nice luminous glow.

I wouldn't reccomend this for oily skin as I felt my nose was a touch oily towards the end of the day(and I have super dry skin) but it did wear nicely and with some blotting and a touch of pressed powder nose later in the day and it was back to looking gorgeous.

It did leave my fatigued looking skin more awake and while it is not the longest lasting foundation it worked well.

The best part is I didnt feel that it "grabbed" the dry patches of my face like some other foundations do.

Im continuing to use it and LOVE IT
