Revlon ColorStay Foundation - Combination/Oily Review

I really liked this product. I used it for months until i found another product i like better but i do still use this because it is really good. Only problem is it doesn't stay very good on my oily skin which is annoying as it has very good coverage and stays on quite a while. Definatley would recommend!

This is my current foundation that I have switched to. A lot better than my last! I have found a shade that matches my pale skintone without looking orange which is great, I have also noticed it lasts a lot longer because you dont need heaps!

This foundation is amazing, it's not overly priced and a little goes a long way! I have a combination of dry to normal, normal to oily skin depending. It's a nice soft full coverage foundation which I feel worked for my different types of skin conditions. I can tell you now it's lasts the whole day (and night if you touch up). If you are after a full coverage foundation that is decent in price and doesn't come off throughout the day, this product is the magic.

I am in love with the product. It is such a nice formula and easy to work with. For me, the coverage was medium and looks really nice on. However I did find that only lasted 8-9 hours on me, but if I played around with different primers and setting powders that could help.

The coverage is amazing, covers everything! Last a decent amount of time but i would set with a powder. What let me down was that is sunk into my pores, but you could use a pore primer underneath. I get a lot of compliments when wearing this foundation. I didn't find a foundation that suited my light skin because they had a pink undertone but a yellow setting powder fixed that up. It is a really good foundation for the price :)

I bought this foundation as I was looking for something with quite decent coverage but also something that would stay matte through the day as I get oily on and around my nose fairly quickly. This foundation does it all!

Firstly, my skin as I said, tends to get oily on my nose and cheeks by my nose fairly quickly while my cheeks near my jawline and my forehead get a bit dry. I find that I get best results from this foundation if I use an exfoliating cleanser and a gel moisturiser before moving on to the primer and foundation part of my makeup routine.

The packaging is good for this foundation. I like that it has a pump dispenser so I can put the product easily and cleanly straight on to my beauty blender. The clear bottle is useful also, as you can see how much product is left.

It is a reasonably thick foundation which probably contributes to its high level of coverage. I'm a particularly freckly specimen and love that this foundation covers up the lighter-medium ones and evens out my skin tone. It also covers up blemishes so I don't need to use any concealer.

I'm finding that I get about 4 hours before I need to blot and re-powder my nose (I do set my makeup with powder). Maybe a little longer if I also use a setting spray. This is a HUGE improvement over my other foundations, BB, and CC creams which only last an hour or two before melting and becoming oily.

I have had one or two applications where the foundation became a little cakey but I think that is more user-error than an issue with the product. It pays to be careful when applying that you don't get too carried away and put too much on though, just in case!

At the end of the day, I'd definitely repurchase but I'd wait until it was on special as the full price is pretty hefty.

I love love love this foundation! Have been using it for the last 5years it has full coverage with a light weight feel that's not to heavy doesn't look cakey , it stays put for hours! Highly recommended this product if u want a full coverage without the cakeyness

I'm very fair skinned and sometimes find it hard to find a foundation that looks right on my skin but I love this! It's great, I use a translucent setting powder over it and I'm surprised at how long it lasts. This will not break you out in any way and I love how there's no smell to it.

I love the fact that this stays on my face all day. It's really build able and gives good coverage. Had a few mishaps colour matching wise but once o found my colour I was pretty happy and would use it again :)
