Revlon ColorStay Foundation - Normal/Dry Skin Review

Iconic product . A long wearing foundation with a big colour range available. A little goes a long way. Excellent coverage.

I have used this foundation for years and I did love it. The coverage is great, and can be layered if required. It's a thick foundation and I find it best if I apply with a brush and then blend any trouble areas with my finger tips. Recently though, it has caused me to break out horribly, and I have had to change foundations. This foundation is great, but just make sure it's right for your skin :)

accidentally. I accidentally purchased this variation rather than the oily/combi skin formula online. Although this isn't the variation I wanted it still does work fine with my skin. I wouldn't say I really have oily skin, but it tends to when it feels like it, and the oily/combi formula provides me with better coverage.

I find this formula is a little more runnier and therefore doesn't have the same coverage. Never the less this still works fine if I want a lighter coverage.

this is the go to foundation its not one of my favorite foundations but its the best for it price i say this as i have been very spoilt for choice in the pass with working in pharmacies and on cosmetic counters but not anymore :(

I really love this foundation for a full matte coverage. They have a wide range of colors which was awesome for me as I found this was the first ever foundation that match my skin tone. If you apply it right it looks just flawless on the skin. This will be one foundation I will always have in my collection.

I use this foundation as my backup.... I do like this foundation but I do find it to me very cakey on me and half way through the day it seems to come off.

I find it very hard to work with as it dries quite fast, but it does do a full coverage and leaves a nice finish. Also for the price of it l, which you can get for $22 on sale I find it a must have for a make up collection.

All in all I do like this foundation but I wear it more in the night if I'm going out :)

This foundation has pretty good staying power, if I put it on before work it still looks pretty good at the end of the day, eventually I do find it starts to look a little chalky. The fairest shade is a decent match for my skin, although still not perfect, but I have yet to find any foundation that is a perfect match for me. I would prefer if it came in a pump bottle to make it easier to get the right amount out at a time. Like many long-wearing foundations this one can feel a little heavy on the skin, and if you aren't careful about taking it off at night it may break you out. Still overall it does give decent long-wearing coverage that looks pretty natural.

I have been looking for the right foundation for some time. I went to a Big Bucket sale and purchased a variety of products. One of them was the Revlon 24hr Foundation for dry skin.

Its a runny liquid type of foundation. It had great coverage over my brown spots and scars. It smelled nice. Most foundations dont have a smell.

So far its lasted me about two weeks and still counting. It is quite pricy. Lucky I got mine on sale. Very happy with it . Definately will use it again.

For some reason, this foundation will work for me one day, then look like a cakey mess the next! I moisturise and look after my skin, but I do find that if I have any dry patches, it still clings to these areas. For me, the coverage is medium, and does not cover where I have darker pigmentation from scarring I think the cakiness seems to happen if I try building the coverage, so I find I have to keep coverage light to prevent this. That being said, I continue to use this foundation as it does provide good long-lasting wear and is a perfect shade for my skin. I use either a good quality foundation brush or beauty blender to apply, which stops it from streaking. I make sure to powder afterwards which seems to help with smoothing everything out as well.

This foundation provides good coverage without feeling particularly heavy on my skin. Manages to stay on for the day. I find when putting powder on top it clumps and looks terrible. Also it is particularly hard to wash off and leaves my skin feeling like chalk.
