This foundation has REALLY good coverage, it's more affordable than MAC Studiofix however I find that it's a little bit too heavy.

Tips: Mix through a tiny amount of your favourite moisturizer to thin out the foundation for easier application and lighter feel.
I've tried many foundations before, and I've got to say, Revlon Colorstay is truly up there with the best. My belief in its steadfastness was proved a couple of weeks ago when after a 45 min hot yoga session my makeup was somehow still in tact, despite sweating like I've never sweated before. Has good medium buildable coverage and doesn't break me out.
Tips: Priming is key. Wait a few minutes between layers to build up coverage.
I am forever trying out new foundations, but always come back to this one, simply because it stays on all day, and doesn't oxidise. I have been disappointed over and over again with lower-end foundations such as this one, but this one really stands out from the crowd!
It is creamy, has a nice scent and starts off at a medium coverage. I tend to add a bit more to my freckly areas to cover them up. It is easy enought to build up the coverage of this foundation without having it look cakey.
The old bottles have no pump and are terribly messy, but the newer ones have pumps which makes it a lot easier to apply.
There are tons of shades in this range, so it's easy to get matched to your skin tone. Mine was matched so well it blends invisibly into my neck.
Tips: Make sure you get the correct colour for your skin tone, and I have found the best way to apply is with a wet beauty blender or similar (I am currently using a Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge)
I used to use this consistently a few years ago as it's affordable and does a pretty good job. Nowdays I only purchase this when I've run out of my Napoleon foundation and can't make a trip to Auckland to get any more.
Revlon colourstay has a good coverage, esp if you suffer from red veiny cheeks as I do and is very easy to apply, with either fingers, a sponge or a brush. They have a good colour range too.
The main reason I stopped using daily was I found it was rubbing off during the day around my chin and tip of my nose and I just don't have the time for touch ups during the day.
It's a good all rounder foundation, esp for those just starting out. I like that it has a fairly matte finish, as I'm not into the dewy look at all.
Tips: You may find you have to use powder over the top if you need this to last all day.
I love this product it gives good coverage and doesnt make skin oily. However i find it doesnt last all day and needs reapplying therefore not really colourstay but still is a feature in my makeup bag.
i accidentally brought the normal/dry skin ,i have oily t zones ,but i don't think it made much different for me ,i still had a bit of the oily t zone .but didn't really faze me i only really use this for going out on special occasions and it does last me quite awhile but not 24 hours ,i found if i used a powder over top ,( i used thin lizzy) and this set the foundation, that i believe it helped lasted longer .i didn't find it heavy at all. this is my go to safe foundation and i love it .The shades of colors go well with my skin especially going from winter to summer.so i'm able to chop and change what suits me for the seasons ,my skin is light medium /medium in winter and goes to like a golden /olive color in summer.
Tips: use a powder over top ,you can do two layers of foundation if it please you ,it depends on where or what i'm doing if i decide to do that .
I like that there are different shades for different skin types. Covers all the blemishes and stays on for up to 12 hours. Easy to apply with it having a pump, so stays nice and tidy and doesnt get messy. Gives a good matte finish.
It is buildable, with all day wear. I do feel it's a challenge to get your colour match as not always are there testers in store or makeup experts to help with this. I waited till I found a makeup therapist to match me, which I was thankful I did as getting the right colour is what makes all foundations have the right look, and true representation of the effect of the foundation. I have normal skin, which the Revlon liquid is my preferable go to. With all said I do prefer my maxfactor 3 n 1 foundation more as I like the finished result better.
Tips: Wait to get a proper colour match with an expert if you can
This foundation is beautiful and very affordable. It is very easy to apply with a liquid foundation brush and gives a beautiful even complexion with amazing coverage. I only wear this foundation for special occasions as it makes me break out! I don't have sensitive skin either. After this happening I did some research and found this is a common occurrence from this foundation :( Would be a 10/10 if it wasn't so harsh on my skin.
Tips: Use a primer!
I love this foundation, i have it in medium beige and its perfect for my skin tone. I apply it with a face sponge, and it goes on great.
