Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment Review

This razor is truly amazing! It works really well. all the times I used it, it didn't jam up with hair or cut me!! Even using it over my knees (where I always cut!!) amazingly, no cuts! My legs felt smoother than ever and also really well moisturized! This is so great that I have even been out and brought one for my teenager. The handle was easy to grip, it fitted into its shower holder and stayed on the shower wall without any crashes to the ground!

Smells great too!! I am truly Impressed!! Well done Schick!

I am a terrible shaver, I am permanently nicking my ankles, knees and behind my knees. I also get a rash every time I shave, so I tend to let the legs get quite hairy. When I found out I was doing a product testing, and received the razor three days before my birthday I decided I was going to get as hairy as possible and really test this out while getting myself all prettied up for my night out. Boy, did I have no clue.

My friend called me the day before my birthday and told me that she had booked us in for a spray tan after work, with the final words "I hope you are shaved before we go get sprayed" Errrrrmmmm.... no, that was not my plan. Buuuuuut... I did still have the razor on my desk at work.

So off I pop to the ladies loo with my gym towel and the razor. Best time I have ever had in the ladies loo!! For reals!

I just soaked a corner of my gym towel in hot water, ran it over my legs, and then used the razor with a wipe again of the towel afterwards. Cleanest, smoothest and softest shave. I didn't get a rash, and it was handy to have for such an "emergency".

If the soap around the blades didn't stick with hair then I would possibly consider keeping it permanently in my hand bag. The smell was pleasant, I felt fresh, and there was practically no soap residue after each swipe. I'm converted, I might actually start to enjoy shaving.

I am so thankful to be given the opportunity to trial this. I normally just use the cheap Bic disposable ones, but it was nice to have the chance to try something more upmarket for a change. The first thing I noticed was how massive it was and thought it might be a bit hard to manoeuvre, but the handle is easy to grip onto and it doesn’t feel uncomfortable in my hands. The smell of the shaving bar is delicious and really does make skin feel smooth and soft. I had no problems with getting any nicks and found it to give a smooth and close shave. I do agree with other people that it seems to be running down quite quickly. I’ll probably end up getting maybe 10 shaves with it which does make it quite expensive, but it really does work and I would be happy to repurchase this product.

I'm really thrilled with how this razor has worked out for me. I had never tried it or anything like it before, I generally use disposables and another style razor. I really like how this works with the lather included so I don't have to do it as a separate step. Anything that saves me time in the morning is a huge plus for me!

I have found that the razors are sharp and accurate and it is easy to use. I've recommended it to people I work with already!

The razor it's self was pretty good. It was quick to use and I never got any nicks or cuts when using it. The bar of soap around the end of the blade went you didn't have to using any other soap or body wash with it but I think this soap tended to dry out my skin slightly. The razor came with a holder to stick in the wall of your shower which was Convenient. One of the major down sided to this product would be the cost of new blades for the razor.

What a great razor. I really enjoyed using it. No need for bodywash or soap. The hydrating bar really protects the skin for a silky smooth shave. The only downside was it didnt seem to last quite as long as my normal Venus razor. One onset of goosebumps and I was back to feeling prickly, but as far as a quick smooth shave goes, this is truly a great razor and I will continue using it.

I found this razor almost annoying, the head was so big i wasnt sure i was getting all of the hair (which i wasnt) and trying to get the knees was almost impossible without cutting yourself, the "nourishing" soap around it always left my legs feeling dry and had to apply alot of moisturiser afterwards. Also the soap around the razor does dissapear well before the razor becomes dull. On the plus side the razors are really sharp and you get a spare head and you also get a little suction wall hanger which is always nice to stop it going slimey. All and all i personally wouldnt go out and buy one but it is quick and easy once you get used to it and its not too highly priced.

personally I didn't like this razor. I found it overly bulky. I couldn't even see what I was cutting. I didn't but wouldn't even want to try using it "down there". the soap around it smelt really great but after using the razor only a few times it starts to wear away very fast. I also accidentally dropped it while in shawer and the soap part came right off. no-one can tell me they haven't accidentally dropped a razor before. So now this razor is worthless. however I did get a good week out of it before the drop. maybe just my skin but I also noticed my skin became quite dry. I had to apply more moisturiser. I wouldn't recommend this razor to anyone unless you only have a bath. I reckon it would be a fantastic bath razor!

This razor was nice to use. It didn't lather like was suggested but definitely left a nice smelling film on the skin letting the razor go smoothly and quickly over the skin. The handle was also easy on the hand and wrist. As for the actual shave; I found that it did not give a close shave. I have used it twice and each time I could feel stubble. I have far smoother shaves. I feel the lather/moisturizing block prevented the blades getting close enough to the skin to give a smooth shave.

I thought this was ooookkkk but nothing amazing. The soap around the blade needed to be washed down a bit on the first use as the blade wasn't getting close enough to the skin. Gives a smooth shave and haven't had any niks yet from using. I find it hard with such a big shaver head to not miss any spots and find that I go over twice to make sure. I think its a good idea to have the soap around the outside of the shaver but I find it just makes it rather bulky to use.
