Colgate Advanced Whitening Toothpaste Review

I branched out from my regular Colgate Total to try their Whitening version - unfortunately I didn't notice any whitening effects. Perhaps it takes several tube to see this but for not I'm going back to the original.

I do like the flavour of this toothpaste which is nice and minty and id does leave my mouth feeling fresh after cleaning but I don't feel it whitens as well as I thought it would. I drink black coffee and also like tea so was looking to get a whiter clean however it did lighten the stains a little and perhaps with ongoing use may improve to some extent but for the price I expected better.

Purchased this in our grocery's as it was on special. Taste isn't amazing, but does leave a fresh after taste and ur teeth feel really clean after brushing. Havent noticed any difference in teeth colour after a weeks use. Will continue to us until finished

I have been using this brand for years and years. I am talking about the basic, original Colgate Total, simple white toothpaste, I love the taste, the texture, it is my all time favorite. It also somehow keeps my teeth pretty white according to my friends, SHINNY, beautiful. As for this whitening one, i have tried it as well but i cant say that i noticed a marked difference in my teeth shade. With that said i love it just like the original.

I find its a nice tooth paste in general, and really does clean your teeth and leaves your mouth feeling fresh. BUT i havnt really seen any change in the colour of my teeth, im unsure as to weather it actually does whiten. Ive used up a whole tube and havnt seen any dramatic result. I will most likely purchase again but we will see if it actually works

I would use this again (I have it at the moment) because it's a good all round toothpaste with a decent price tag. However, whitening? I didn't find it whitened at all. I've used other pastes which hate whitened more, but cost a lot more money and given me a slimy build up on my inner cheeks and gums. I know that's due to the beach content and that's why they work better than this, but at least this doesn't damage your oral tissue. it cleans well, my teeth feel smooth and I don't get bad breath or tartar build up (but that may be due to my electric tooyhbrush? Don't know). It doesn't whiten that I have noticed, but I'm sure my teeth would probably be less white if I used a non whitening paste. A decent buy for the price, but if you're really concerned about whitening, you'll be dissapointed.

Weird right? But its like my whole mouth is dry for the day when I use this! It totally doesn't whiten my teeth, never noticed any difference. But like yeah its a average toothpaste if it didn't dry my mouth out and it was on special I would buy it. Quite a strong mint taste the consistency is a little chalky for my liking I prefer it to be more gel like.

I used this product for a couple months and my teeth did feel cleaner for longer and my teeth stayed reasonably white but i found it made my teeth really sensitive, i noticed this when i decided to give a different toothpaste a try and then my teeth stopped hurting so i wouldn't recommend this tooth paste to anyone with slightly sensitive teeth as it makes themmore sensitive.

Colgate is a well trusted brand and one I buy a lot of. This makes my teeth and mouth feel fresh and does a good job of cleaning them.

In terms of whitening, I did not see much difference at all. I find the Colgate optic a much better product for this.

Overall, an okay toothpaste -but I feel like there are better ones out there, especially if you are looking for a whitening toothpaste.

I won't rush out to repurchase this!

This did an ok job of cleaning my teeth but did absolutely nothing in terms of whitening so I wouldn't bother buying for that purpose. The taste and consistency of the product is pretty much the standard of what you would expect for such a supermarket quality product.
