Colgate Advanced Whitening Toothpaste Review

I have so much trouble with my teeth and finding a toothpaste that whitens is like next to impossible. I've brought this a few times when it's been on special to give it chance after chance but no success.

It is a great toothpaste for making your teeth feel fresh and clean, you really do feel a difference in how clean they feel, when using this toothpaste my teeth felt significantly stronger, it didn't give me any sensitivity issues compared to other whitening toothpastes.

My issues with this toothpaste was I didn't notice any difference in the colour of my teeth, they stayed the same colour from when I started using the toothpaste down to the last drop, the second problem is the after taste, it tastes like a chemically strong taste, i didn't like it at all.

I score this 3/5, it cleans your teeth very well and doesn't make them sensitive but it doesn't whiten and the after taste is too strong for me.

Whilst colgate is a great toothpaste, I didn't see any changes in the colour of my teeth.

My teeth looked lovely and polished and shiny however no noticable change.

The taste is pleasant and the 'fights germs for 12 hours after' is awesome.

But it's just not a good whitening paste.

Especially if you're a tea lover.

Lovley packaging a nice shine to the pack and advance whitening yup I'm in. My front teeth are filled over, a lot off work and not cheep to matain so I do not need harsh toothpaste. It smells like spearmint and its a gritty white toothpaste the wee micro cleansing crystals it think. My teeth are not whiter after using this, plaque and tarter are under control but I do go to the dentist regularly, I always have a cavity. This is a nice refreshing toothpaste and so far it is keeping the surface stains down, I'm not finding it any different to the other toothpaste. There is a wee funny after taste too this I can't place it but like soda. This is a nice toothpaste I quite possibly will buy it again but I do prefer creamier toothpastes.

I did notice a very slight change in whiteness of my teeth but definitely not to the standard that was advertised. I didn't mind the taste, just like any other tootpaste to that extent. Used it to the end of the tube and it didn't really make an overwhelming change but definitely more than what they were. I wouldn't purchase again given the additional cost for minimal benefit.

This toothpaste comes in the typical cardboard box with the colgate logo and the toothpaste inside again looks like a typical colgate product.

Performance wise, this product was also fairly typical. I used it just like I would any toothpaste; brush twice a day with a pea sized amount of toothpaste on the brush.

I can't say I noticed significant whitening effects, it more so seems to just prevent any new staining.

The toothpaste was minty fresh and much nicer than the taste of some other whitening toothpastes I have tried.

I had tried colgate total before and wanted to try its whitening version. The tube comes in a whote and silver box with a generic colgate written in red. The original price is a bit steep but I bought it's when it was on special.

The paste is white and I used it morning and night. The mint taste isn't overpowering infact I rather liked it. Left my mouth feeling and tasting great.

However I felt it doesn't really protect for 12 hours as it claims after all that eating and drinking but it does last through most of the day. Also I didnt notice a marked difference in my teeth whitening. But I only used one tube. Might need continuous usage to see any improvement. It did however prevent teeth staining. The color of my teeth remained the same and didnt get worse.

Wouldnt really recommend for teeth whitening but its okay for brusing the teeth.

I loved this as a toothpaste. It is everything a toothpaste should be. It is the perfect amount of mint without being to overpowering and always leaves my teeth feeling clean and fresh. As for whitening as the packaging says I found it did nothing.

This does the job that any toothpaste does - it cleans your teeth. The taste isn't overwhelming or intense like some other toothpastes tend to be. It's nice and minty fresh.

In terms of this whitening your teeth... I have been using this for over 4 months and haven't noticed my teeth getting any whiter. To be fair I drink way, way too much coffee and I do smoke.

I wouldn't recommend this as a tooth whitening product but I would recommend this as a toothpaste in general. It isn't anything special but it works and makes your teeth feel nice and clean.

I have mixed thoughts about this toothpaste! It definitely cleans teeth well and I've also noticed a slight difference in the colour of my teeth! I find it has a bit of a weird taste but leaves my mouth feeling fresh! The biggest downside to this toothpaste is that it contains sodium lauryl sulphate, which is a major cause of mouth ulcers. If you are susceptible to mouth ulcers DON'T use this product!! I am and unfortunately it has caused me severe ulcers that I now need antibiotics to heal so be careful! However if you don't get ulcers then it is a great product I would definitely recommend!!

I do not think it has whitened my teeth at all but this toothpaste leaves my teeth feeling very clean and fresh. It has a good strong minty flavour which is great if you want minty fresh breath
