NIVEA Stress Protect Deodorant Aerosol Review

Love this product, protects all day and smells lovely and fresh. And best of all it doesn't stain your clothes.

Not the best aerosol spray out there, but does the job. I don't think it stayed on me very long. I like the packaging though its small and practical and easy to carry with you in your handbag.

This is an impressive product that does exactly as advertised. I tend to have fairly sensitive skin so often react to anti-perspirants with itchiness or stinging: and sadly, it is generally the more effective anti-perspirants that the worst. However, this didn't cause me any grief at all. The first big plus in its favour is the smell, which is a simple clean and fresh fragrance without any flowery perfume smells that so many spray-on anti-perspirants go for. This means it won't be competing with any perfumes or fragranced body lotions you choose to wear. It also mean that if you just want a quick squirt of this without any fuss, you'll smell fresh as a daisy. The second good point is the lack of irritation. I have a list of deodorants and anti-perspirants I can't use that is as long as your arm ... they make me itchy, and often leave my armpits feeling burned and sort. Not so with this: absolutely zero irritation, so top marks to Nivea. And finally (and probably most importantly), it's incredibly effective. We've been having a run of absolutely cracking days weatherwise over the past week, which was perfect to give this product a thorough workout: it passed with flying colours! During four scorching days, a once-a-day application after my morning shower was enough to keep me smelling sweet for the whole day.

I have to admit, I wasn't hugely excited about trialling this product. After all, it was an aerosol and I haven't used aerosol deodorant in years as I found too many of them made my sensitive skin flare up. Not to mention the stunning white patches most of them seem to leave! However, I gave it a tentative spray and it smelled good - really good in fact! So I decided to give it a real workout and see how effective and 'anti-stress' this deodorant actually was. I spent the entire day in the garden in temperatures of 30 degrees and over and the sweat was literally pouring off me as I sawed, dug, carted barrow loads of dirt and goodness knows what else. I even had sweat dripping off the end of my nose - but would you believe, under my arms was DRY? And even though the rest of me smelled like a wildebeest by the end of the day, my underarms were still as fresh as a daisy! This really did surprise me!

I have been a roll-on user for years and never dreamed I would go back to aerosols but I decided to continue using the Nivea deodorant as it just smells so good! It lasts all day, never any need for 'top-ups' and as another bonus it hasn't made my skin flare up at all. To top it all off, I've had no trouble with white spray patches on clothing either! I would never have tried this product if I hadn't been given it to trial but I'm very glad I did. Even my two sweaty teenage sons have pinched it and been impressed!

I have been using this for a good 4 -5 days now. I shower at night and apply the deodorant when I get ready in the morning. Firstly, the aerosol was a little powerful and intense and ended up choking on it a little as our bathroom is very small. I let it dry then got dressed. During the first day, I did notice that I had a little body odour at about 2pm (which is not unusual for me, I have not yet found a deodorant that stops the smell completely) so wasn't that impressed. I persevered however and on the second day it seemed to work. The third day was OK, a little bit of a smell in the evening but during the day it was good. However the fourth day was like the first and around 2pm I did have noticeable odour again. All in all, this might work well for others and I was really pleased to have the opportunity to test it as I do have problems with BO at times, but it didn't work as well as I had hoped.

I was excited to trial this new NIVEA deodorant as I am always on the look out for a product that is effective against stress sweating.

I wore this deodorant instead of my regular antiperspirant. The fragrance was pleasant without being too strong and overpowering my fragrance. I was pleased that it didn't leave any white marks under my arms or on my clothes.

Most impressive however was the fact that this deodorant lived up to its claims. As the work day progressed and I became stressed, it kept me dry and feeling fresh.
