I have been using Tampax for the last 20 something years and still find it as easy to use than I did way back when. I use both the regular and super and find both quite reliable. Absorption is good. Love the cardboard tubing, more environmentally friendly than some other plastic ones I have seen and is sturdy enough to do its job properly.

These are really good tanpax with the applicator. Good for general periods. They are more expensive then no applicator tanpons. I think these are great for first time users to get into the swing of things. It’s feels so much cleaner using the applicator too. Would use again old school and reliable
I have used a lot of tampons in my life as I'm sure most people have, and these ones are by far my favourite. The applicators are easy to use and I appreciate that they aren't made of plastic, and save me a lot of discomfort. They hold a surprising amount of blood and I would totally recommend them as an easy beginners tampon.
i just love this tampon above all others, why you ask? the applicator ensures a clean and easy entry, comfortable and absorbs well. I get heavy painful periods and this product gives me all the support i require.
I've always used applicator tampons as I find them a lot easier and cleaner to insert and these are a good benchmark for what tampons should aim to be. As long as you are using the correct absorbency for the stage of your period, you shouldn't have a problem with leaks as they fit well.
The cardboard applicators work well and allow you to easily position the tampon where it needs to go and the string is thick and strong so they are easy to pull out unlike some other brands.
They are a bit bulkier to store in a bag than the non applicator ones or other brands versions of applicator ones, but I don't find this to be too much of a problem.
They are also a decent price and I will continue to repurchase them.
I have been a user of Tampax’s applicator tampons for a long time. I have a light flow, so this review is for the Regular tampons.
I prefer tampons with applicators because I find them easier to use, but they are not always the easiest to find. I have stuck with Tampax because they are affordable, and nearly everywhere stocks them. Tampax’s Regular packs come in cardboard boxes of 20. The Regular comes in a blue and yellow branded box, with the tampons wrapped in individual yellow plastic wrappers, so you know what strength they are when they are out of the box. Each pack comes with instructions for beginners on how to use and insert tampons, as well as warning advice regarding Toxic Shock Syndrome.
The tampons themselves are cotton, and the applicator and tube are both made of cardboard. In the past I have found these tampons slightly difficult to get started as the cardboard tubes have a tendency to stick together. I have found the best way to avoid this is to give the applicator tube a little twist, and then just a tiny push, so the tampon breaks slightly through the spokes on the top of the cardboard tube, before I begin insertion. After I do that, I have no problems with the applicator tube sticking, and I can easily push the applicator tube all the way inside the tampon tube.
The tampons are comfortable once inserted. The absorbency of these tampons is good. I have never had any problems with leakage while wearing these. They are easy to remove. Altogether an easy and convenient option if you are after applicator tampons.
As I do not enjoy using non-applicator tampons I always find myself reaching for these. I have never had any problems and I have always felt comfortable and safe using them. Only complaint is they are not discrete. I know some applicator brands where you pull out the tube which pushes the tampon up instead of it already being out ready to insert. Does the job other than that no complaints!
Tips: This whole product is environmentally friendly meaning you can flush all parts of it as it is made out of paper and cardboard like material. Big thumbs up as sanitary bins are not a nice thing to be messing around with.
I have always used these tampons, but have always been wary of the pinching that happens sometimes if you're not being careful. These are the best applicator tampons other than the Tampax Pearl ones!
Tips: Watch for pinching!
These are good when starting out as they make insertion so much easier and they are cleaner to use. They support a light to moderate flow but would definitely need a pad if you're flow is heavy.
Best thing since slice bread. I have never used tampons until I got introduced to it by my roommate. I have tried every tampon and this is by far the most easiest application I have used when it comes to that time of the month.
I love the fact that it is clean and that I don't have to use my fingers. The anti-slip grip is so helpful and gives you perfect guidance on position.
