Never will i use this product again!!! I was on holiday in Noumea when i first used this and it was horrible! My legs got an ugly red rash that i would compare to dry-shaving rash. Not the look i was going for in shorts and at the beach. I thought it might have been the heat or leaving it on too long since i have very sensitive skin so i used it when i got back to New Zealand and NOPE!! the same thing happened. Straight in the bin it went! Will NEVER repurchase.

Reviews
As soon as I applied the product I felt my skin tingling which soon turned to a burning sensation. Thankfully it was so difficult to avoid the water in the shower half of it had already washed off. I washed off the remainder before giving it time to remove any hair or possibly skin! My skin was slightly red for a few hours after, moral of the story, always patch test these kind of products first!
Is it just me or do majority of these products have a icky sulfuric smell to them? Moving past the smell, the product was..... meh. Some hair was removed but not all hair. I wasnt too impressed with this particular product although i do love veet
I was surprised to see so many unhappy consumer reviews about this product as I was pleasantly surprised by how effective it is. I say that though having modified usage from the instructions...
I apply this and wait closer to ten minutes than the suggested 5, and then use a facecloth to remove it. I threw the sponge out after one use as I felt it was hindering rather than helping with application and removal of the product.
It does have a chemical type scent but it's on the lighter side, and is quite creamy, leaving my skin feeling less 'attacked' than it can be post hairing.
I have very dark hair on pale skin and it' simemdiately evident if a product can't handle that, but this handles the removal of hair from bikini line etc really well.
The tube is great, but I'd prefer a flip cap to the screw on for ease of use while applying.
Because I'm a busy person who can't always make it to the salon for (as Marian Keyes once put it in a book) 'de-gorilla-ing', I will continue to be happy using the Veet In-shower hair removal system. It does need slight modifications, but is entirely usable and effective as is.
I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin. I don't have sensitive skin and it gave me such a bad rash that lasted over a week.
It smells like someone lit my hair on fire, its smells like somethings burning and its really unpleasant.
If I could rate it 0 i would.
I was very disappointed in this product, I was very excited to try it out as I am so lazy so hate shaving but too poor for waxing. I thought I had the answer but no!
As soon as I out the product on my leg I was uncomfortable, it quickly escalated to a hideous burning feeling. And OH GOD the stink! The smell is absolutely disgusting! Mt what you want when trying to beautify yourself. I found the smell lingered on my legs too, ruining the effect of the silky smoothness on my partner. Although truth be told the smoothness was only achieved by me shaving the whole area after washing off the cream as it had barely removed any hair! Complete waste of time and money!
Tips: What a waste. Don't bother.
Wishing I had never bought this product! First of all it smells absolutely terrible and even after you wash it off the smell is still there! It might of been bearable if it had actually worked but unfortunately I had no success with this. It caused a burning sensation as soon as I put it on and even after leaving it on for the recommended time, it barley removed any hair. Extremely disappointed with this one.
For such a huge price tag, I was expecting to have a fantastic product which obliterated all hair and didn't irritate my skin. Imagine how I felt when I tried this stuff and it not only did the opposite, but it smelled so bad!
Without trying to sound like I'm bashing the Veet company, this product has way too many cons for such a hefty price. When you put it on, it's fine, but it has this absolutely disgusting smell which I can't stand. Even when you remove the product, you have to drown yourself in perfumes and sprays to get rid of the sulfuric smell.
Secondly, it irritated my skin when it was left on my skin for a few minutes! To me, I've never trusted the 3 minute veet, so I've always left it on for about 5 minutes. Once it hit about four minutes, it started stinging and burning, and the packet explicitly states that it can be left on for up to ten minutes! So obviously I could never use it if I couldn't leave it on to actually get rid of my hairs. And even then, most of the time there would always be a few hairs left behind, which I was shocked and disappointed about.
So, in general, I would just not buy this, because it is way too much for what you're getting, and everything it says it does, it doesn't do at all.
Tips: Save your money and don't buy it.
did not do what it was ment to smelt SOOO bad and made my skin feel irritated. would never buy this product again
this it doesn't work in the shower. you are still better off putting it on before u even hope in the shower. I would rather the old stuff.
