This is the first CC Cream i have tried (or BB cream for that fact!) It is so light and refreshing, with the combination of cucumber water and rosehip extracts the moment you apply to your face you instantaneously feel refreshed and re-energised. there is a light fragrance of the cucumber water which i really enjoyed. it most definitely gave me great coverage and blended away my red cheeks. like all 'foundations' i squirt a little onto the back of my hand and then apply, what i was really impressed was, after doing this the back of my hand looked flawless and felt amazing!! although i really love this product i felt like i still needed a little more from it. For everyday use i give this a definite thumbs up but think that when i go out i will need a little more.

Tips: Rub it between your fingers before you apply, i read that it goes on a lot nicer when it is warm, and i found this to be true!!
I was really looking forward to giving this product a go due to the fact that I had tried the BB creams.
Depending on what your needs/concerns are the differences aren't huge between the BB creams & CC creams, in my opinion.
I really like the CC cream, I choose Medium colour, which may have been a tad to dark for me (but still workable) just didnt go as heavy handed with the product next time I used it.
I found this gave more a light foundation coverage, which you could build on if you wanted a heavy coverage throughout the day. It definitely concealed the redness on my cheeks, which I was mainly wanting, lasting power was good & naturalness of the product great. It felt lovely & smooth on my skin.
Talk about a little goes a long way, this sure does. I was a little heavy handed at first, but have toned it down & really happy with how this product peforms. A whole lot of happiness with this product, would buy again & a great price bracket. Thanks BR for the opp to trial this :-)
Tips: If Max Factor could add some illuminator to this product, I reckon it would be the beauty MUST HAVE in you bathroom.
I use this most days just under powder and it gives me a good natural look & feels like its not there. Easy to blend & didn't make my skin react
I absolutely love this product and the effects it has. It feels light like a moisturizer, you can apply it with your fingers, but gives the coverage of a foundation. The colour matches extremely well to my skin tone and covers up redness. It doesn't make my skin oily like other BB/CC creams, or dry like some foundations. The only downside for me personally is the price . over all though its a great CC cream
On hearing about Farmers' introductory special I ran out and bought the Max Factor CC Cream.
The lady at the beauty counter helped me to choose the right shade for my skin (there are only three shades to choose from but I didn't want to get the wrong one). The light shade (which I went with) is more of a pinky tone, where as the medium shade tends towards the orangey.
On application I was really quite worried that it was too pale on my skin but as time went on it began to look more natural. It has excellent coverage and covers my blemishes/redness well, in that regard it surpasses my beloved Garnier BB Cream. However I've found it to be quite drying on my skin, even when used with a moisturiser first and I really don't like the way it smells. (I'd love to explain the aroma but I just can't find the words, nana-ry but in a bad way?)
I'll continue to use it on the days when I require more coverage but I think that once it's run out I'll be trying another brand of CC Cream.
I got this product on sale and from a lot of positive reviews that I have read on the internet. I hate wearing heavy foundation and I only wear foundation/touch ups for a special event. This CC cream basically covers up redness and doesn't look cakey. The only thing is that it will look shiny a few hours later. You will need to put on some loose powder after application to set it.
I bought this to use for a more natural look than my high coverage foundation and had heard that CC creams are better for oily skin than BB creams are.
It is packaged in a slim squeeze-style flat tube. It's fine for now but I'm not sure how well it will work once the tube is nearly empty. It's small opening makes it easy to squeeze out the right amount without wastage.
It is a lot lighter coverage than I was expecting. It does even out my complexion but doesn't do much in the way of covering freckles or blemishes. It also doesn't really cope too well with my oily nose on its own.
For those of you with oily skin (especially in the t-zone), the best way I've found to use this CC cream is to start with using an exfoliating cleanser, moisturise (focusing on any areas that tend to get dry), prime skin, use a setting powder on the parts of your face that get oily quickly, apply the CC cream using a beauty blender (to avoid moving the setting powder too much), then use setting powder again on the oil-prone areas and follow up with a matte setting spray. Powdering twice has the added bonus of making pores appear smaller too. Applying this way gives me a couple of extra hours before the oil appears.
I might repurchase, I'm always on the lookout for something that better fits my needs but so far this CC cream is the best I've found.
Tips: Use a setting powder on oil-prone parts of your face before AND after applying the CC cream to increase the longevity of your makeup application.
I enjoyed this product whilst I had it however have since found better things. It gave me a nice natural look and covered up some of my problem areas whilst keeping a nice natural finish. I would recommend it for something to try if you are shopping around
Good coverage but colour was a bit too pale even for me and by lunch time it had started sliding off my nose, around my nose and my chin! I mix it with another one I was using to get the colour better, unfortunately it didn't help the oily issue!
Gave me a very healthy and natural glow. When it came time for it, removal was very easy. This CC cream is now one of my most used products. I was recommended this by a friend and honestly I would have never chosen it for myself.
Tips: Personally I love wearing it for any occasion but would recommend not wearing on very hot days or places where you may sweat
