Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

This isn't a bad mascara but it isn't one of the best out there. It has an alright formula and a basic wand shape. It would be good for young teenagers that are just starting out in the beauty world.

I do like this mascara however its not my favourite from the Maybelline range. I love how the brush is small it allows me to coat the bottom lashes, and get the lashes closest to my inner corner. I love that the consistency of the mascara isnt too wet or too dry. a downside was though that i did experience abit of smudging under my eyes.

This mascara has always been in my makeup kit and to be honest I've always used it and bought it again even though it's not the best. The brush on it is great especially to do lower lashed however the product is hard to use and is very liquids so tends to get on the eyelid and other places.

I really like this mascara for a quick day to day look. I don't tend to reach for it if I'm doing a nighttime look or something a bit more dramatic as it doesn't really give me a huge amount of length or curl.

At the same time, I love using it with fresh daytime looks or if I just want something quick to put on. The colour is nice and dark, which i like!

I like the packaging - its small, sleek and easy to hold and use. Last of all, its really good value for money, and easy to just pick up from the supermarket or Farmers etc!

I really wanted to like this mascara since so many other people did and it is one of the cheapest here in NZ. However I just don't love it, the formula is fine, doesn't flake onto my face and comes off really easy, so I like that. But the brush makes the application frustrating. It doesn't separate my lashes and can make them clumpy.

This mascara is an oldie but a goodie I like it for really natural day or to layer with a volumising mascara.

I love maybeline great lash mascara, I've tried a number of other products and keep coming back to this. It goes on nicely separating the lashes and not clumping, it's also easy to remove at the end of the day. I've used some other products and have started loosing lashes when cleaning my face plus one of the biggest positives is that in the wind (live in Wellington) I often get watery eyes but don't get stingy eyes from getting mascara in them. So many times I've not been able to open my eye from getting other mascara brands in my eyes and have to reapply. Maybeline great lash mascara is my staple and it's a good price so even better.

I used this years ago and remember loveing it so i gave it a go again.. big mistake. . I wasnt a fan at all, it went clumpy really fast which made it really hard to apply. i also found it made my eyes a little itchy but that may be because i keept noticing little peices of mascara had come away from my eye lash. over all i dont think i would waste my time or money on buying this again

I have used this mascara for years! I always come back to it. I really think the key is not to use to much which i love for the natural look. I have noticed if i put to much on or touch up it will flake off, but other wise i love it for everyday wear.

This was the first mascara I ever used, Swiped from Mum's drawer as I imagine they all were!

It doesn't clump, lasts all day and comes off nicely without having to rub (using make up remover)

Good clean volume without looking fake or overdone.
