I have very thin eyelashes, hardly noticeable if not curled. I use regular eyelash curler before applying mascara. I wanted to try this one to see if it makes any difference in volume or length of eyelashes. So here is my review… I did find a little difference, the lashes were more defined. It curled my lashes properly. I liked it’s look it’s cute. And the extra pad and comb are added bonus. I might try this product after applying mascara someday to see if it combs through and removes any cluster. I think this product might work well for thick eyelashes. Overall I liked this product.

Wow I love this! To be honest I didn't think it would give much difference to my lashes because I already have a natural curl. I followed the instructions, pretty straight forward, Apply close to the lash line making sure your head is tilted back abit and I gently squeezed for 7 seconds. Be careful not apply it too far in by the inner eye, the bottom part of the curler pinched under my eye but practise makes perfect and I havnt used one in years. Amazing results! This gave my lashes a huge lift!! really happy with this product and looking at my lashes, I won't need so much mascara and maybe might just go without it some days, stoked!!
Tips: Use a good eyelash growth serum like Lash Fridays!!
I tend to not use eyelash curlers too often as I’m scared of damaging my eyelashes but this one is a soy amazing. The silicone comb really helps to seperate your eyelashes and the curl you get relatively quickly is absolutely amazing
These curlers took a couple of tries to get the hang of. I found that the comb attachment made it a little difficult to gauge the correct lid placement and would either go too close and pinch or not close enough and not grasp enough lashes. A little practice made perfect though. I applied pressure for ten seconds which was enough to give a lovely lift and curl. The separation was subtle and I’m not convinced it was a necessary feature as mascara tends to comb out the lashes too. It does create a great base for applying mascara and leads to a more defined look. I did find that it was hard to get into the corner lashes, this was possibly due to my eye shape, but I was still satisfied with the outcome.
Tips: Make sure you achieve good even lash placement in the comb teeth before applying the pressure.
On paper it sounds like a very good idea. In reality: I don't see the point of the comb. I have long straight lashes, but I couldn't even see any of my lashes on the comb part, which made me think that my eyelashes must be super short.
I couldn't see any of my lashes at all, no idea if the curler has gripped anything. The angle of the whole curler is wrong, too - I can't curl anything without most of the curler touching/scrapping my cheeks, which I was afraid would smear my cheek makeup. Inability to see my lashes means everytime I used it I was scared that I might accidentally pinched my eyelids. Not in a hurry to replace my expensive eyelash curler with this one.
Positive: I like the pink non-slip finger grip.
Pretty good eyelash curler, it separates my lashes so my mascara goes on evenly, and makes my eyes wider, so easy to use that I finally did not pinch my eye lid! Haha. I do recommend giving this little bad boy a go, pretty colour pink too. But overall pretty good, enjoy beauties x
I recently lost my eyelash curler so was keen to try out something new. A good curler is worth it's weight in gold I feel! So here are my thoughts on the Manicare eyelash curler with comb.
Presentation: loved the baby pink colour and the non-slip grip. I find with metal only versions, it's easy to slip while holding the curler. The non-slipness really helps avoid that.
Price: it's on the slightly more expensive side at around $18-20, but I think it's worth paying a bit more for the added features of the comb, pretty colour and non-slip handle.
Ease-of-use: I found this eyelash curler very easy to use and get the hang of.
Results: I think the comb attachment is an really helpful addition to the standard eyelash curler. It definitely straightened out and separated my lashes prior to applying mascara and helped 'pull-up'/lift the lashes in my opinion. Once mascara was applied, I could definitely see a difference in the effect of my lashes - my eyes looked more opened up. Obviously the effect doesn't last forever, but it is very nice. You could potentially *slightly* warm (not make too hot) the curler ends with a hair dryer before using to make the lashes curl last better. Although this is at your own risk, and likely not recommended by the manufacturer! I do this but am very careful as you don't want anything hot by your eyes. I make sure it's only slightly warmed and am careful not to overheat.
Maybe the curler doesn’t fit my eye shape as well as the current one I have, I find that this curler does not curl my lashes as well as my previous curler. The concept is good, I find the comb works well to brush out my lashes for easier mascara application. Low how it comes with a replacement comb too!
Tips: Gently squeeze the curler as you rotate the curler up and away from lashes for a more natural curl
I received this as part of the trial, thank you for choosing me. Once I received it I actually gave it to my niece who has recently gotten into makeup and loves curling her eyelashes- and I thought she would be perfect to help with the trial. Her first impression was SO hard to get into the packaging, however once cut her way through she loved the pink colour and the spare comb that came with it. Super easy to use and really curled her lashes beautifully. The brush was a little fiddly to start with but once you get the hang of it its amazing. Totally recommend to anyone who likes a little extra oomph to their lashes as once you add mascara it really make a difference
Tips: Make sure you curl first then use mascara or you might end up with no lashes
Packaging: Manicare have always seemed to go a little overboard with their packaging, but I guess it makes it easy to identify their products in amongst a sea of others. I like that it clearly shows it comes with a spare comb. It looks sleek.
The product: Overall, it is well constructed, feels sturdy. It has nice comfort slips in the finger holes which is a nice touch. The gorgeous rose gold pink is divine. It moves easily without catching on anything and seems great. The comb looks a little ominous. It is also kind of big.
Using the product: I have naturally pretty invisible eye lashes as they're pretty blonde/fair. I'm used to being able to see that the lashes are in place before I clamp however this is made very difficult by the comb in place. The curler part itself seems big and like it sits quite a way from the eyes so you have to kinda push it in more but then you run the risk of pinching the skin of your eyelid. It kinda just felt cumbersome and a bit too much for me personally. I don't know if having hooded eyes played a part in this.
Did it do what it said: When it worked, sort of. It didn't not curl my lashes but applying mascara afterwards I didn't really think that they looked much different if at all different to my standard curler. Which I tried one on each eye to see if there was a difference. I guess it was subtle but I was expecting more.
Overall thoughts: I could take it or leave it. My standard eye lash curler would suffice for my needs.
