Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

I do really like this mascara. Along with all the maybeline mascaras this is another goodie! i like that the applicator is just your standard mascara wand. easily coats all lashes, one negative if i have to apply quite a few coats to give alot of volume. but if thats what i takes ill do it! once coated a few times it defiantly gives volume.

I love how this mascara extends my lashes so much and makes it long, dark and full and it is at a reasonable price for a mascara.

Cheap, affordable and does a great job! I have used many mascara's and this one is a favourite no catch just does a great job and holds the lashes where you put them

Easy to apply and it definitely made my lashes look heaps longer and fuller. Didn't clump too much, nice even coatings. Doesn't smudge or rub off, yet it's still easy to remove. I'm not sure what difference the 'smoky eye' formula makes but wouldn't hesitate to try it especially if you already like the regular one.

So my lashes are long and pretty good anyway, but my sister started raving about this and i had to see what the big deal was so i bought some myself... my goodness...

This is my staple mascara. I am always looking for the holy grail mascara and while I dont think this is the most magic i'm ever going to find for my lashes it does a wonderful job. I love maybelline's packaging on these I find its really comfortable to use. The brush fits my lashes perfectly and coats most lashes realy well I find that the consistency works well on my lashes it doesn't clump or stick at all and I feel like it makes my lashes fuller. I wouldnt say that it gives me colossal lashes but definately bigger and better ones. As far as cost goes this is reasonable compared with other mascara's.

I really loved this mascara, although not as much as the Falsies. It's a dryer formula which I love and doesn't clump, even after 2+ coats! Loved the brush too.

I've had a spotty past with Maybelline mascara for me they've been entirely hit or miss. For me, when they hit - they are awesome. When they miss... They're terrible. I was excited to try this as I received it as a gift and the packaging reminded me heaps of the Colossal Cats Eye mascara.

I love the brush on this - a mascara is only as good as it's wand and this wand is awesome. It's nice and bushy and quite large but it gets right into my lashes and coats them evenly. The wand doesn't tug or pull my lashes out and is comfortable to use.

I love how full and separated my lashes look after applying this - I have thick lashes so it's difficult for me to find something that doesn't turn them into a clump of eyelash haha. This doesn't and I love that.

The pigment, as with most of the Maybe Line mascaras I've tried, is awesome, dark and very black. It dries fairly quickly and once on it didn't budge on me.

I will purchase this when my current one runs out (I was given this one as a gift), and I recommend it for anyone who wants a great everyday mascara.

My history with Maybelline products has been very hit or miss - some I've tried and really liked, others have been complete duds. I was a bit skeptical about trying this as my Volum' Express Mega Plush was such a disapointment, but it was on special so I took the plunge.

I have this in black and I have to say I was very impressed. The wand of the mascara is nice and sturdy and I love the shape of the brush, it's rather wide and bushy with a slim tip that's great for getting corner lashes. I find it coats your lashes evenly, leaving them looking nice and full but without the spider-leg look or clumping. The formula itself is also pretty great, the pigment is lovely and dark and stays put nicely all day without smudging.

This mascara does give volume but I think it's claims are definately exaggerated! Still it's a great everyday mascara and I would use it as that again.

I nearly finished my first tube of this mascara and I'm still not sure if I like it or not. First of all, it can get very clumpy, so I have to be very careful not to apply more than one coats, I still need to separate my lashes sometimes, it isn't how I imagined "colossal". I purchased it because of all the good raves about it and maybe I set my expectations too high!? However I purchased the waterproof one and it really is waterproof. I have to bike to work and sometimes I'm lucky enough to bike in pissing down rain and I always check my mascara upon arrival and there is no one crease or black stain on my face at all, amazing!!
